"The stay in the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The hotel layout is just beautiful with the open architecture and view of the Galle fortress. The rooms we had were very spacious even for suites. Lovely bathroom, living area, garden, lots of places to rest. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. The hotel is a short distance from the fort so you can walk there and enjoy it while being away from the business. The beds were comfortable and you only hear the ocean, not the street noise. I would give 6 stars if possible."

"Very close to the beach, the day before the hotel was very late at about nine o'clock, I fell asleep directly. I woke up in the morning and saw the blue sky and sea. I was in a very good mood. There seem to be many Russians in the hotel, and the restaurant also specially put a Russian menu. My favorite is the early morning pool, the private venue, casual swimming, the deepest is about two meters, great. The breakfast is also very good, except for the local curry, I can accept it, the papaya is very sweet. Be sure to stay for two more days next time."

"We absolutely loved the Araliya Hotel. It's a great hotel with a fantastic beach, sand, and sea. They have excellent sun loungers exclusively for guests, and the beachfront area is guarded, so you don't have to worry about outsiders taking them. The beach bar/restaurant is superb, with excellent service. They always have cold beer, delicious cocktails, fresh fruit, and fish. Every day, they'd bring out freshly caught tuna and announce it to the whole beach, which was quite a highlight. The sandy beach is gently sloping, the sea is warm, and the water is clear. You'll see a lot of families and children on the beach. It's definitely a family-friendly hotel, with about 80% Russian guests. The staff doesn't speak Russian (except for one person), but that's not an issue with the restaurants around the hotel, where many people, including taxi drivers, understand Russian. We really enjoyed everything. It has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all have sea views. The bathroom is also quite large. Nearby, there's a street with restaurants and shops offering good prices. You'll find currency exchange offices everywhere; the rates are a bit lower than at the airport, but not by much. We truly loved our stay and will definitely be back, maybe with our kids next time. P.S. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Naveen, one of the restaurant staff members. He's a very pleasant, smiling, and responsive guy who went out of his way to make every guest comfortable. We were very impressed with his service."

"Hello. Me and my partner checked in on 18 of February in the hotel. Let me start with the good things. Breakfast is good. Quality of the products is good, but lack of cheese. Would be nice having at least one type. Stuff is friendly. Especially the one on the swimming pool Cons Lack of hot water. Enough for quick shower for one person.. We started to call them to fix the problem.. Could not even react to the reception!! Nobody was picking the phone before 21.00. Next day we should remind them again to check inside the room, not only outside. Unfortunately.. Problem was not fixed.. And we should be mega fast taking shower or wait long time.. Imagine if this is family of 4. First day bedsheet was dirty. Overall hotel is nice but hope they can pay more attention on managing it better. Also not so important, but I guess because of the wet weather. See the pics belpw"

"The room I was originally given was close to the street and was very noisy. Later, I was given a room close to the sea, and the beach was right outside the door🏖. Of course, I only stayed for two nights and left early. The room was large and nice, with sufficient air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The only problem was that the hot water was not hot enough for this generation of hotels. It was probably warm water. I hoped I wouldn't catch a cold after taking a shower. I was quite happy staying there."

"The hotel's exterior looked new, and the room was very clean. We received guava juice as a welcome drink during check-in. The staff was incredibly polite, and I was very satisfied. (Though there was a gecko in my room, lol.)"

In the evening dinner on the menu. And if breakfast in the hotel is modest and uniform, the kitchen is able to surprise at dinner. The main dish is distinct from a beautiful feed and always delicious. And the menu every day is new. The rooms are large, all with ocean view. The air conditioner works well. You get tired of the sun even in the shadow, so you enjoy the room at noon. Hotel is mainly for family couples and families with children. Some parents pay for children's surfing lessons here because compared to other beaches here, the soft wave is not deep. The surfing board can be rented here at the hotel. Another plus hotel - there are no sellers of all kinds. The lying vacationers are closely monitored. You can leave a phone in the bag and go swimming, and go back to the Internet, lying on a cheeslong There is a minus that is not noticed - a river falls in the ocean next to the hotel and after the rain it carries brown water in it. So clean and transparent water you will not see here. And here on the main beach in Unawatun water is just a pleasant blue-turquoise color. Maybe in the dry season the water in CoCoBay Bay looks different, but we were in October and rains went here every day."
