This is a modern contemporary 4 star hotel situated on the main road into Split. The reception is very welcoming and the staff are always happy to help. Our room was very spacious and spotless with everything you would expect from a hotel of this standard, including robes and slippers. Breakfast was quiet and there was a good choice of both hot and cold food. Tips for getting the best from a stay at the Sia Split: We used the hotel recommended transport from the airport to the hotel as our flight arrived in the evening. We struggled to find the driver and he was not sure where the hotel was resulting in me showing him on google maps. The cost of the journey was €60. We booked a Uber for the return at a cost of €30 and were collected outside the adjacent building. On arrival we checked in and I requested drinks from the bar but was told that the bar was closed - 8.50pm on Sunday. This was also the case on the second time I tried to use the bar at 9.00pm on Wednesday, although staff were enjoying drinks outside the reception area. There are local supermarkets but the one adjacent was also closed at 9pm. There is a mini bar in the room. A 175cl bottle of wine is €15! Our room was facing the main road and if staying again would ask for a room away from the road. The breakfast room is clean and spacious with ample seating. Avoid sitting at the far end facing the windows as the local dog owners use the small grass area, we only sat there once and witnessed 6 dogs using the area as their morning toilet. Finally, we are keen walkers and have a fast pace but the town was a 20 minute walk for us. There is however a bus stop opposite the hotel so the distance should not deter anyone from booking this hotel. We have given 4 stars as this hotel is very good and hope with the tips suggested would meet anyone’s expectations and requirements

The breakfast was nice and the staff were great. My room had strands of hair in the sink and shower, but other than that it was a great experience.
