Hostels like this one are common in Eastern Europe, with self check-in. It's located in a residential area, a bit far from the attractions, but it's mostly frequented by locals looking for accommodation in the city rather than backpackers. If you want a reasonably priced place to rest, you can go there. If you want interaction with other travelers, look for another hostel of this type.

One night was enough for me to form an unpleasant opinion about this hostel as a whole. First of all, the "common areas" are not large enough, especially considering that the MIXED DORMITORY is for 10 PEOPLE (which isn't mentioned in the listing). On the dining table, you'll find the travel bags, presumably belonging to the other guests, further reducing the already very limited space. There's no lounge, contrary to what the description indicates. For those arriving after 4 PM, I don't see how they could check in since the receptionist is no longer there. An app is supposed to be downloaded to open and close the front door, but honestly, I don't know what purpose it serves because the door is PERMANENTLY OPEN, meaning anyone can enter and access the dormitory at any time. The dormitory is separated from the common room only by stairs; there's no door. There's one men's and one women's bathroom for a 10-bed dorm, and what's more, there are NO LOCKS to lock it. The bathroom is INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES; I wouldn't be surprised if the kitchen is too. One power strip (3 outlets) per bunk bed. No privacy whatsoever for the first bed, which is directly opposite the stairs. Simply AVOID
