GGuest UserOverall, I'm really happy with this hotel!
**Location/Environment:** I specifically chose this location because it's a bit further from IFS, so it's nice and quiet here. You can enjoy breakfast on the 5th-floor terrace, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding with the breeze. It's only a 4-5 minute walk to the subway, making it convenient to get to Orange Island and Wuyi Square. Getting a taxi to Changsha South is also very smooth.
**Service/Cleanliness:** The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the room was very clean. I asked the front desk to clean the room on the second day, and when I came back in the evening, it was spotless! 😂 They even tidied up my child's stuffed animals!
**Breakfast:** For someone from Guangdong who doesn't eat spicy food, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, as most side dishes had a touch of spice. You can opt for noodles or wontons from the cooking station, or stick to eggs, corn, and pastries.

HHello Baby-dingzhiMany friends visiting Changsha ask me to help them find a hotel. Their requirements are usually: convenient transportation, equal distance to all attractions, places to explore nearby, and the best value for money… After a lot of searching, the HOUTAI Hotel popped up!! Afraid the pictures wouldn't match reality, I even stayed a night to experience it myself, and it really met all my expectations😌
💚 The hotel has a very strong design aesthetic, with greenery and 'tai' elements throughout. Guests enjoy complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, and breakfast, which is a great convenience. I highly recommend the Changsha rice noodles for breakfast – the toppings are delicious! You can also rent a DJI drone at the front desk, and there's a gym and laundry room.
🤍 I chose a room with a terrace, perfect for smokers or those who dislike enclosed spaces. The room layout is compact and well-designed, and it even has a cup sterilizer (a huge plus for germaphobes!). The soundproofing is excellent, the mattress and pillows are comfortable, and the screen mirroring effect was surprisingly good – truly exceptional, like being in a movie theater.
💚 Surroundings & Transportation: The hotel is directly across from IFS (International Finance Square). It's close to Dongmao Street and Fengying West Alley, both of which offer amazing food and shopping! To the west of the hotel is the bustling pedestrian street. Plus, getting to other attractions is very convenient, whether by taxi or subway.
🤍 The only **drawback** would be parking; there are very few spots. If you're driving, be sure to inform the hotel in advance to reserve a space. The entrance and exit are also not very noticeable and a bit hard to find.

GGuest UserHighly recommend House 167! The location is excellent, right next to Taiping Old Street, making it super convenient for getting around and enjoying food. The front desk lady provided incredibly warm and thoughtful service; she carefully guided us on how to get there beforehand and even gave us a personalized travel guide. She also responsibly helped us keep an item we accidentally left behind after check-out. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and the experience was truly top-notch. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Changsha!

Lliuwenyu1968Pretty good! The lobby is impressive, and the room is spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and heats up quickly. They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and hygienic. Front desk staff member #2 was very enthusiastic and helped me with all my questions. The hotel has a grand atmosphere, and the lobby is impressive. It's located right inside the train station, which was incredibly convenient – I've never stayed so close to one before! It's right next to the exit, making it super easy to get around. You can catch the metro Line 5 right outside the train station, and it's just a few stops, about ten minutes, to attractions like Yuelu Mountain and Orange Island Scenic Area. The location couldn't be more convenient, saving a lot of travel time. The room hygiene was also excellent, and there's a free gym and children's play area. For this price, it's definitely worth it! Highly recommend!!!

GGuest UserOverall, it was pretty good. My room faced Yuelu Mountain, so I barely heard any outside noise. However, the soundproofing inside the hotel wasn't great; I could hear people watching TV or talking loudly in the next room. There's a breakfast buffet in the morning, and the noodles were decent. Housekeeping was also quite prompt. One downside, though, was the hairdryer – it was the old-fashioned kind that got hot very quickly. After just a minute of use, it became quite uncomfortable to hold.

GGuest UserI didn't think of commenting until the last day of my stay. The hotel I booked for my colleagues during the exhibition received unanimous praise. The key point is that it is close to Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center and is convenient for walking. The restaurants and subway stations next to it are nearby, which is convenient for eating. The breakfast is good, especially the Changsha rice noodles are delicious. The breakfast variety is also very complete and the taste is good. The facilities are complete, there is a self-service coffee machine at the front desk, and there are sofas and round tables in the lobby bar for us to meet guests and chat. The room is clean, the towels are very thick, the sound insulation is good and quiet, and the stay experience is very good.
