GGuest UserOverall, I'm really happy with this hotel!
**Location/Environment:** I specifically chose this location because it's a bit further from IFS, so it's nice and quiet here. You can enjoy breakfast on the 5th-floor terrace, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding with the breeze. It's only a 4-5 minute walk to the subway, making it convenient to get to Orange Island and Wuyi Square. Getting a taxi to Changsha South is also very smooth.
**Service/Cleanliness:** The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the room was very clean. I asked the front desk to clean the room on the second day, and when I came back in the evening, it was spotless! 😂 They even tidied up my child's stuffed animals!
**Breakfast:** For someone from Guangdong who doesn't eat spicy food, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, as most side dishes had a touch of spice. You can opt for noodles or wontons from the cooking station, or stick to eggs, corn, and pastries.

HHello Baby-dingzhiMany friends visiting Changsha ask me to help them find a hotel. Their requirements are usually: convenient transportation, equal distance to all attractions, places to explore nearby, and the best value for money… After a lot of searching, the HOUTAI Hotel popped up!! Afraid the pictures wouldn't match reality, I even stayed a night to experience it myself, and it really met all my expectations😌
💚 The hotel has a very strong design aesthetic, with greenery and 'tai' elements throughout. Guests enjoy complimentary afternoon tea, coffee, and breakfast, which is a great convenience. I highly recommend the Changsha rice noodles for breakfast – the toppings are delicious! You can also rent a DJI drone at the front desk, and there's a gym and laundry room.
🤍 I chose a room with a terrace, perfect for smokers or those who dislike enclosed spaces. The room layout is compact and well-designed, and it even has a cup sterilizer (a huge plus for germaphobes!). The soundproofing is excellent, the mattress and pillows are comfortable, and the screen mirroring effect was surprisingly good – truly exceptional, like being in a movie theater.
💚 Surroundings & Transportation: The hotel is directly across from IFS (International Finance Square). It's close to Dongmao Street and Fengying West Alley, both of which offer amazing food and shopping! To the west of the hotel is the bustling pedestrian street. Plus, getting to other attractions is very convenient, whether by taxi or subway.
🤍 The only **drawback** would be parking; there are very few spots. If you're driving, be sure to inform the hotel in advance to reserve a space. The entrance and exit are also not very noticeable and a bit hard to find.

GGuest UserHighly recommend House 167! The location is excellent, right next to Taiping Old Street, making it super convenient for getting around and enjoying food. The front desk lady provided incredibly warm and thoughtful service; she carefully guided us on how to get there beforehand and even gave us a personalized travel guide. She also responsibly helped us keep an item we accidentally left behind after check-out. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and the experience was truly top-notch. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Changsha!

GGuest UserWe are visitors from the UK who spent a 3 night stay at the the Fancy Hotel. We chose it due to the hotel’s proximity to Hunan Museum - less than 10 minutes walk away. The location is great - Martyr’s Park is just alongside the museum. It is a lovely place to walk and there is plenty to do once you are inside. There is also a metro station and very large shopping mall with numerous eateries - including a Burger King and KFC within easy walking distance. The hotel is clean and modern. Decor is good. Our room was a little small, but comfortable and had everything we could need for a short stay - including charging cables and electric curtains! There was an extensive range of Chinese options for breakfast. Western options were more limited and included fruit, toast, butter, jam, boiled eggs, coffee, croissants and a surprising array of small cakes. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. They did not speak English - but patience, a smile and Google translate helped us to communicate. The hotel has a roof garden and small gym There are food delivery options, which we didn’t have time to investigate. Sadly there did not appear to be anywhere to buy a coffee on site. We liked the hotel and thought it great value for money. We would definitely return on a future trip to Changsha.

GGuest UserI extended my stay for three more days. On the first day, the room wasn't cleaned, so I went to the front desk. They immediately arranged for it to be cleaned, and the subsequent service was excellent. They even gave me complimentary breakfast and a departure gift. This was my first time staying at an Orange Crystal Hotel, and I found the room facilities to be quite smart. We stayed in a family room, and the extra bed was a sofa bed, which wasn't ideal, but thankfully the mattress was comfortable.
They also provided welcome fruit and a departure gift. A big thank you to the lovely ladies at the front desk. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would choose to stay here again.

Lliuwenyu1968Pretty good! The lobby is impressive, and the room is spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and heats up quickly. They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

MmohuaguiTraveling to Changsha with my family this time, the transportation was very convenient, and the service was warm and welcoming. We booked a twin room, but they upgraded us. The bathroom with separate wet and dry areas was very quiet, and there's free parking right outside. The Line 2 subway entrance is right at the doorstep. We could ask the front desk anything we didn't understand, and their service was enthusiastic. Overall, the facilities were excellent, and it's just a 7-minute walk to Wuyi Square.

GGuest UserI didn't think of commenting until the last day of my stay. The hotel I booked for my colleagues during the exhibition received unanimous praise. The key point is that it is close to Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center and is convenient for walking. The restaurants and subway stations next to it are nearby, which is convenient for eating. The breakfast is good, especially the Changsha rice noodles are delicious. The breakfast variety is also very complete and the taste is good. The facilities are complete, there is a self-service coffee machine at the front desk, and there are sofas and round tables in the lobby bar for us to meet guests and chat. The room is clean, the towels are very thick, the sound insulation is good and quiet, and the stay experience is very good.
