"I was a bit hesitant to book here after reading some negative reviews, but the location turned out to be the most important factor for me. And I certainly didn't regret it! I had two wonderful nights in a spacious room with a balcony, which allowed me to truly relax. The room had a kettle, a fridge, an excellent bed, and the pool was spotless. Cafes, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Just be prepared for no internet access and make sure to get a local SIM card in advance."

JJasminlyI loved the luxurious lobby and our room with a beautiful pool view. The beach at night is stunning, especially with the fire decorations. The location is very convenient, being close to the airport, and the food is also good.
However, there were some issues. We called twice for extra towels and to replace a dirty vanity kit in our room, but no one came. Some staff also seemed to take advantage of travelers. For example, we had to wait a long time to get a refund for a drink we bought at the pool bar and could only receive it after repeatedly asking. Additionally, we tried to book an early morning taxi to the airport, but the staff claimed it wasnât possible because taxis werenât available at that time. Later, we saw a taxi at the hotel front dropping off a passenger. The staff then quickly came out to say she can book one now.
Overall, while the property and amenities are lovely, service issues affected our experience.

GGuest UserThe rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, and the views are absolutely perfect. The restaurant quality is also good, and watching the sunset at the fish bar was a fantastic experience. The staff are all incredibly well-trained, enthusiastic, and professionalâit's not just a few individuals, but every single employee is welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Marriott's hotel training really shines through here. If I had to nitpick, the hotel sofas are a bit dated and starting to yellow slightly, and while the bed sheets are clean, they also show a bit of age with a slight yellowish tint. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. This is definitely a highly recommended top-tier hotel in Fiji.

KKingfeet99We had a very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff â everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always trying to help with a smile. You can tell the team really cares about the guests, and that makes a huge difference.
The hotel itself is quite remote and isolated, which can be either a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. There is no real private beach for swimming, so donât expect a classic white-sand Fiji beach resort experience. However, the location is absolutely perfect for sunsets. The evening atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and very relaxing.
The breakfast is not really at a 5-star level in terms of variety or quality, but it is still more than sufficient and you will definitely find enough options to start the day well.
One thing that really feels outdated though: charging extra for Wi-Fi in the rooms in 2026 is honestly absurd. Hilton, seriously â what decade are we living in? Free room Wi-Fi should be standard at this level nowadays.

MMizLilyBeeJust needed a quick nights rest before an early morning flight. Smugglers was just what I needed. Guest service was efficient, location is conveniently on the beach restaurant was delicious and the room facilities were clean. They even had an airport shuttle for my sunrise flight.

The room is decent with mini fridge, hot showers, bath amenities. The room has AC and extra blanket. Wifi is working OK.
You still need to double check if the hotel have received your payment to avoid double charging.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Club Fiji for our entire 5-day visit, and after exploring the area during our stay, we believe it was the best choice in Nadi. Why did we love it?
The location is fantastic â right on the beach (we stayed in a beachfront bure), close to the airport but without any airplane noise. Thereâs a convenient free shuttle to many activities like the Vau Contemporary Dance performance or a Denarau snorkel cruise, and a taxi to Nadi town costs about 10 FJD.
Our beachfront bure was newly renovated, clean, and had everything we needed â not fancy but comfortable. The beds were made regularly if we werenât in the room when housekeeping came by.
The grounds are stunning, with beautifully kept gardens and loads of chill-out spots â beach beds under umbrellas, hammocks on palm trees, two pools, and lovely spaces to eat or have a drink.
The service was very personal, with staff always checking if we needed anything. They even have a travel expert on-site to help plan your activities and bookings.
Entertainment happens most nights, ranging from the unique way dinners are served (like Korean grills or beach BBQs) to concerts and local celebrations.
Food-wise, the buffet breakfast is simple but adequate since there are few other options nearby; the Ă la carte dinner menu is decent, but the special grills are outstanding.
We really loved the authentic Fijian atmosphere here, which felt very different from the typical all-inclusive resortsâit had a feeling you couldnât find just anywhere in the world.

LLWHHThe staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has a great locationâright by the beach, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. There's also a convenient store nearby with a restaurant upstairs that serves delicious food.
Our deluxe room was clean but near the main entrance so a bit noisy at times. The only downside was the bathroom. The shower took a long time to produce hot water, resulting in wasted water and often uncomfortably cold showers. The water pressure was also quite low. Additionally, there was no shelf near the sink to place toiletries like toothpaste, which made things a bit inconvenient.

LLow Siong Lye 27052025Bua Bed and Breakfast exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location is absolutely ideal â just a short walk to the beach and only a few minutesâ drive to Nadi town, which has a great selection of food and beverage options. Even better, the coach pick-up point for island hopping tours is conveniently located near the hotel, making day trips effortless.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with reliable and fast Wi-Fi â something I really appreciated. Breakfast was included and provided a good start to the day.
Overall, Bua B&B offers great value, especially if you're looking for convenience, comfort, and a strategic base for exploring the area.
