"My First Hostel Experience — And It Was a Blast! Ostello Bello Palermo was my first-ever hostel stay, and honestly — it was an amazing surprise! At first, I was placed in a room with all guys, but when I asked to switch, the staff quickly and kindly arranged a change for me. Each room has 11 beds and 2 showers, and everything was super clean, which I really appreciated. The common area is lovely — warm, welcoming, and full of life. That night, there was a DJ party that lasted until 1 a.m., and sleeping was definitely not an option… but I was in the spirit of experimentation, so I just went with it and ended up dancing and having a great time. I met some amazing local musicians who were born in Palermo, and we had such a fun night hanging out and talking. It felt like a truly authentic and spontaneous experience. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly — especially one guy at the reception (I wish I remembered his name!) who was just the sweetest. Thank you for making my first hostel stay so special. I’ll never forget it 💛"
