"Rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious. AC works perfectly. The gym is adequate (cardio machines and dumbbells), so is the sauna. Breakfast could have a little more variety (specially fresh fruit). The hostess Cristina was very friendly and helpful! Definitely will be staying again the next time I come to Timisoara. "I stayed at this hotel from 24-26 October 2024 and when I checked out was charged 1010 lei ($215) to my credit card for a small bottle of mineral water from the minibar. I contacted them on my return home to complain and request a refund, but they have ignored my emails and telephone calls. I still feel upset about this experience - I feel like I was robbed - and wanted to warn other travellers about the dishonest practices of this hotel."

"It is a reliable hotel with staff cooperation There was a time when there was no staff at the reception because of the off-season, but when I was waiting, other staff contacted me and the receptionist came immediately. When I went to the night, I told you what I needed, and I prepared it properly. I did the procedure for consecutive nights twice, but I didn't cheat because I told me that I presented the wrong amount the first time The room was large and clean and the bathroom was comfortable There is a desk and a chair in front of the bathroom door. (Is it depending on time?) I felt the smell of excrement from the toilet so badly that time was painful. Thanks to this hotel, it became a city that I loved Timisoara Thank you very much."

"Currently difficult to locate entrance, as building is covered in scaffolding. However once inside its a nice clean and spacious apartment. No major noise issues. Its walkable to centre in about ten minutes."

"The hotel is located in a quiet area. We stayed in the apartment 403 and the view from the balcony included the rooftop of the main church. From the hotel to the city center, it is an approx. 10-15 min cab ride. The apartment was very spacious and included all the necessary amenities. The breakfast offers a normal range of dishes. I especially appreciated the restaurant manager, I did not catch his name, but he was very friendly and operative. All the staff was professional. The hotel looks good. I think is has good value - money. I recommend it."

"The Vanilla Hotel is fantastic—wonderful staff, a great breakfast, and overall a lovely experience. The restaurant in the hotel’s garden had good ingredients and a decent dinner. However, they switched our wine order—we asked for Romanian Sauvignon Blanc but were served a New Zealand one at triple the price. We felt quite disappointed. So, while I recommend the hotel wholeheartedly, I’d advise future guests to double-check their wine order at the restaurant. I really hope that was mistake caused by “lost in translation”"
