"Excellent, satisfied in every aspect. The only concern was the outdoor parking lot; with temperatures dropping to -20 degrees Celsius at night, I was a little worried about the car windows freezing. The shower water was very hot and the flow was ample, allowing for a thorough shower. The pillows were a bit high, but otherwise, I was very satisfied. The newly opened hotel was indeed spotless, and the price was incredibly good, far surpassing other hotels priced over 400. There's also a ski resort nearby, a 20-minute drive away. I'd also recommend staying here for skiing!"

"First, the advantages: it's close to the ski resort, about 100 meters away. The room was very warm, which is also an advantage, considering the outdoor temperature in Tonghua is currently below -20 degrees Celsius. The disadvantages: First, the front desk service was poor 👎. When we checked in, we were given a very small room with a small window, making it feel very cramped. We were changed to a slightly better room at our request, about 20 square meters. On the day we checked in, it was a Sunday. After returning from the hot springs at 10 pm, we called the front desk to ask about breakfast hours. We called five or six times, but the phone rang once or twice before being silenced. We couldn't call room service or the restaurant either, as the phone rang but no one answered. I went to the guestroom office on the third floor and asked a staff member, who told me it was from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The next morning, we went down for breakfast at 9:40 am, but the restaurant had already closed. At our request, we were given a few pieces of bread and the remaining pastries. I complained to the front desk, and they just gave us a fruit platter. Also, the room was poorly cleaned; the photo shows how the bed was made when we returned the next day."

"Although the regular Hanting Hotels are a bit to basic for me, the Hanting Premium Hotels, like this particular one, are really a very reliable and well recognised brand. This one does not disappoint. The rooms at the Hanting Premium Hotel Tonghua are superb in it's category with full amenities and smart design. The location in itself is moderately strategic with being a 15 minutes walk to either the malls or the riverside. The major drawback is this hotel's immediate surroundings which are very disappointing. The hotel itself is located in a decrepit distribution centre which also has plastic and paper recycling shops around. There is garbage everywhere, it's pitch dark at night and the huge parking area is pretty seedy with huge trucks parked around. One would wish this excellent property was located a few blocks down the road in a smarter environment."

Luming Hot Spring Hotel (Wanfeng Tonghua Ski Resort)
"The room was brightly lit by a skylight above the patio, but it didn't open, making it quite stuffy. The small hot spring pool was nice and comfortable. We were given a hot spring pass upon check-in, but we had to use it before checking out; otherwise, the pass would expire. We went the morning of our second day, which was a bit tight. We'll probably go on the same day next time. The breakfast was good, but the family room only includes breakfast for two, so tall children will have to buy it separately. There's a fruit picking garden about a ten-minute drive from the hotel, so it's nice to go there after the hot springs."
Wangchunshan Xiyue Hot Spring Hotel
"1. I confirmed upon check-in that the hot spring allowed multiple entries, but I was stopped the second time I tried to enter, told I could only go once a day; 2. The hot spring is open until 9 pm, but they stopped people from entering at 8:10 am – the auntie was incredibly mean; 3. The hot water suddenly stopped halfway through washing my hair, it was freezing, and the water pressure was intermittent; 4. The room was really cold, and there was no heating in the bathroom. Now I don't even dare to wash my hair in the room; Finally, don't rush to open if you're not ready – it's a terrible move."
