"Firstly the trips which were included were great We booked through Newmarket travel. Been with them loads of times all.around Italy this was by far the worst. A cruise on Lake Como, to Bellagio. A trip on the Bernina express. An extra trip.to Luggano All good The hotel was. Another matter altogether. Mould in the rooms. Leaking showers.no heating, no tv. The staff though polite were as welcoming as a cold. The somelier wouldnt know how to smile if his life depended on it Spent many nights rolling his eyes as everything was an effort. . The food was inedible at night pork or fish both not very good sometime not recognisable. Potatoes were rock hard. Breakfast was continental so you would think that could not go wrong - if only. A toaster that toasted one side. Coffee/tea Iuke warm no water on the table was told that tap water was not allowed - no alternative given. We didn't make the one paid trip as came down with upset stomach. No refund offered. Had to.ask if there was possibility as was £43.00 but was given a shrug as an answer Apparently the Hotel Mario and Newmarket are aware of.the complaints but have done noting to rectify The hotel is in middle of nowhere and the buses come.when they want People on.our trip had to.sleep in Rooms with a strong smell of bleach to rectify mould only they day before they left"

"My wife and 4 year old daughter stayed for 4 nights and our favorite experience was at the outdoor pool in the garden. Especially the service, the staff made us feel right at home, specially Armedio. He greeted us everyday, brought our daughter chocolates every evening and made sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. He went above and beyond. Room service was also exceptional, in part because of Camille, she was great. She made sure we got breakfast promptly, gave us advice on what to visit/explore and again, made us feel comfortable and at home. This place is truly unique in its beauty and overall vibe!"

La Darsena Boutique Hotel & Restaurant

"Located in Tremezzo, a quieter part of Lake Como, we enjoyed a relaxing stay. It was only a three-minute walk from the Tremezzo ferry and bus terminals, and the flat terrain made it easy to move around with a suitcase. Villa Carlotta is nearby, allowing for easy walking to sights. During peak season, public transportation on Lake Como can be extremely congested, making it difficult to catch a bus or ferry, so having tourist spots within walking distance is a major advantage. The room was spacious, and the restaurant terrace was simply amazing. The breakfast was delicious, and being able to enjoy it on the terrace with a great view made for a truly memorable experience. While I regret not having time for dinner this time, I'll definitely include it next time. The staff were all friendly and willing to help with sightseeing tips. While the staff are apparently unavailable after the restaurant closes at night, there's no need to worry, as the room phone can be used to contact them in case of an emergency. I'd definitely stay here again."

"Soundproofing is nonexistent, given the typical but inevitably dated furnishings. The windows are very thin, and the apartment overlooks the parking lot and the street, making it noisy. The lake view is very beautiful, but I had to wear earplugs to sleep."

"I loved staying here, the bed was really good ❤️, the staff so helpful and nice food really good and the pool awsome it is just so beautiful here feel like your staying with family with the staff❤️I will definitely come again soon p.s the parking was really good"
