Brahma Niwas - Best Lake View Hotel in Udaipur ★★★★

"This hotel claims to be a 4-star property, but in reality, it doesn't even meet basic expectations of a 2-star hotel. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. Guests have no control over the room temperature, and every time you want to adjust it, you have to call the reception desk. As a result, we spent an uncomfortable night and barely got any sleep. The food service was equally disappointing. Our order was completely messed up, yet the prices were shockingly high—higher than what many genuine 5-star hotels charge for similar meals. The room amenities were far below standard. The TV was practically useless as it had no Wi-Fi connectivity. The bathroom was not properly clean, there was no hair dryer, and not even basic toiletries like hair conditioner were provided. For a hotel marketing itself as 4-star, guests apparently need to carry everything themselves. We had originally booked for two nights but decided to leave after the first night because of the poor experience. The hotel refused any refund, citing "company policy." While policies are important, guest comfort and satisfaction should matter too. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. Instead of addressing our concerns, they responded arrogantly and told us to "go ahead and write a review" because this is how they operate. Overall, this was a complete waste of money. Poor facilities, poor service, unreasonable charges, and an unprofessional attitude. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay."
