Hotel Simius Playa
"Very good food, top location"
Hotel Il Girasole
"I cannot express enough, how wonderful our stay was here. This place is run so well, by Antonio and his right arm; the beautiful woman who makes it so welcoming and delightful. The room was absolutely perfect, clean, well kept and just lovely. The property, the same. Beautiful gardens around the place, and patio area. Great place to eat breakfast or just lounge. I am not picky but there was nothing I saw out of place. The word immaculate comes to mind. They were generous, kind, helpful, and welcoming at a time Americans aren’t always received well. We also had a challenge the day we were driving back to Cagliari to fly back to Rome. Our rental car which was a new car, simply stopped working. It seemed electrical. The car rental company said they were going to come pick it up, but offered no assistance as to how we would get to the airport. We had some time, but not hours. Antonio and his host were so helpful in trying to help us. Genuinely concerned, when they really didn’t have to be. It wasn’t their challenge. They helped us get a last minute transfer to the airport. The gentleman was there in 5 minutes max. Nice luxury SUV, although we didn’t need it to be. And got us to the airport on time with time to spare. The woman at the hotel was in contact with my husband the whole way to make sure we made it on time. This kind of care and hospitality, is what I love about travel to Italy. Just genuinely wonderful people. We are blessed and grateful we picked this spot. It couldn’t not have been better in anyway. Book it. Ciao! Suzie and Dave Baxter"
Hotel Sa Cralla
"Positive aspects: clean, spacious and quiet room with access from an external staircase. Nice furnished terrace available to all rooms. Kettle in the room with tea and herbal teas. Negative aspects: change of towels every 3 days, if necessary at a cost of 8 euros. Structure not always manned especially in the evening, contactable only by calling a landline number at reception (where in fact there is no one at certain times), no cell phone for emergency calls (personal experience). Modest breakfast: only sandwich bread, because fresh bread, according to them, is not delivered to small structures and they cannot go and buy it because they already get up early! On the tray 4 slices of cooked ham of the small type and cheese slices. Everything is at the bare minimum, because according to them they are an anti-waste brand hotel: very good, but then write it down, so when you book you know what to expect. But the downfall is the written note you find in the room, which invites you to leave a tip for the person who cleans.... Finally, having forgotten a personal effect in the hotel, I received a refusal when I asked to send it to me at my expense. I will not dwell on the rude response I received when I complained because they were not found at the agreed time by the person I had instructed to go and collect the object. The overall impression was of little willingness to accommodate the customer."
Cormoran Resort Villasimius
"this is my second time i visisted the cormoran hotel and i realy love this hotel . Staffs and Bartenders Lifegourds are realy friendly You can turn them with any problem you have, they will help you. Food and Cocktails are very delicius i recommend it to everyone"
Cruccùris Resort - Adults Only
"See the coasts of sardine east/ south (crucuris) beaches villasimius, interesting town and attractive quiet resort, perfect staff"
Almar Timi Ama Resort & Spa
"We would have expected more for a 5-star hotel. The floor around the pool bar always looked dirty due to old stains from the dates in the palm trees. For the price I paid, I would have expected at least the soft drinks in the room to be free, instead of charging a whopping 6 euros for them. The prices are far too high overall. A cocktail served in a martini glass cost 18 euros! Dinner buffet per person 65 euros WITHOUT drinks, far too much, at least soft drinks and maybe a table wine could have been included. Breakfast was the same every morning. We know from 4-star hotels that there is also, for example, a glass of prosecco for self-service - unfortunately not here. The evening program (music) was always too loud for the small area and the number of guests present. In the room we missed hooks to air out worn clothes, and a line or clothes rack for wet swimwear would have been nice on the balcony too. Even in our current 4-star hotel there is a small clothes rack on the balcony! Unfortunately we won't be coming back."
IH Hotels le Zagare Resort
"The hotel is a bit dated but overall well kept, excellent cleaning, nice pool. The sore point was the restaurant room, during the period in which we stayed, a strong and cold mistral wind was blowing and there is no alternative room to dine sheltered from the wind. Unfortunately, even after we complained, the management did not try to change the situation in the slightest, replying that they were sorry but unfortunately they could not do anything about it... I think that something like this is not acceptable. As a result, we always ate cold and in the cold and this is absolutely not good. Even the waiters were embarrassed by the situation because obviously most of the guests did not want to dine in the cold and with gusts of wind. Very kind staff always with a smile"
Hotel Cala Caterina
"Let’s be frank, Sardina is no place for thrifties, everything has it price, but here you get your money’s worth, in service, in food and wine quality in atmosphere. Somewhat hidden in the most south-eastern corner of Sardinia you will fine a smaller but fully staffed hotel with ca. 50 rooms. Well fitting in the landscape, close to a beach, with a wide garden offering good viewing spots above the sea."

Casa Tacconi
"A wonderful place to stay! The owner is a very nice and warm person - you can tell he likes what he's doing! Breakfast are delicious!"
Green Village Resort
"We stayed 3 nights at the residence. The structure is clean, the rooms are not too large but adequate for holidays, our house also had a patio with an outdoor table, an outdoor shower (very useful when returning from the sea). We made use of the swimming pool (although not too large) and went to the sea (it's not very close on foot especially if you have small children, but it's doable) splendid! The guys at the bar were very kind as was the girl who welcomed us at reception. Honest prices."
Hotel Su Giganti
"Lovely place to stay. Basic but really clean, beds comfy, shower really good, clean rooms, spotless swimming pool, grounds immaculate. Short walk to the beach. Parking is tight but handy. Staff are really wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent with lovely croissants and cake, I liked the cake. It’s quiet but that’s part of the attraction. I’d come again if I liked going to places again but I like going new places. Recommend this one though."
Residence la Chimera
"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable for the beach of Campolongu. Clean and equipped house with all comforts including air conditioning and small flat-screen TV. Balcony sea view. Very available owners. Garden for our dog with gateway. We were very good. This pool is available even if we never used personally because we were always going to the sea. Very recommended!"
VOI Tanka Village
"We spent a few days at Tanka Village as a family, and overall, it was a very good experience—especially for those traveling with young children. Arrival & Location: Check-in was quick and smooth, and we reached our room in no time. Our room was located in a hallway that served as a bit of a passage, which made it slightly noisy at times. However, the central location was very convenient—it was right near the main square (piazzetta) and just a short 10-minute walk to the beach. Family & Baby-Friendly Facilities: This resort is extremely baby-friendly. The “Biberoneria” service was a highlight—it had everything needed for babies aged 0 to 3, including free formula, diapers, snacks, and freshly prepared baby meals served three times a day. Parents can enter freely and get what they need, which was a huge plus for us. Food & Dining: The food at the Oasis restaurant was truly excellent. There was a great variety of fruits, vegetables, and desserts every day. We also appreciated the free wine and beer, and the overall quality and variety of the meals made dining a real pleasure. The all-inclusive formula worked really well for us. Beach & Activities: The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and plenty of activities throughout the day for both adults and kids. That said, sunbeds and umbrellas are not included and must be paid for separately, which feels a bit off for an all-inclusive resort. Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms themselves are a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. Housekeeping came once a day, but the sand wasn’t always fully cleaned, and the overall standard was just okay. Small details like having to pay a €50 deposit for a proper hair dryer, or €2 to wash towels, and daily towel rentals for the beach, added some unnecessary hassle. Facilities: One disappointment was the gym, which closes during lunchtime—something that seems unnecessary and limiting in a resort setting. --- Overall: Despite a few service-related downsides, Tanka Village is in a fantastic location, offers excellent food, and is wonderfully equipped for families with young children. With some small improvements, especially on the facilities and service side, it could easily become an outstanding choice for a relaxing family vacation."
VOI Tanka Selected
"A bottle of water upon arrival, otherwise everything costs extra! Even changing your beach towel costs 2.- on everything; they're making money off it! This establishment is starving! For the wine included with meals, you don't get a wine glass, only a water glass to drink it from – a perfect example of false advertising and a blatant lack of respect for customers!"
S'Incantu Resort
"Poorly trained staff tell you a price on the phone and then when you arrive they increase it because there are only quadruple rooms left. On the website you see new rooms, but the room assigned to us was old, dirty and outdated. I asked for explanations at the reception but the owner or manager refused either this or we could leave!"
B&B Ametista
"A wonderful place to stay and visit Villasimius and all around. It’s really in the city center. Sabrina immediately welcomed us and let us feel like at home. Our room was really comfortable with all useful things: boiler, coffee machine, small terrace. The breakfast is really great and Sabrina every day tries to accommodate all preferences and add her particular sense of family with her faboulous cakes"
Residence S'Incantu
S'Arenada Hotel - Adults Only
"I cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed for 3 nights towards the end of our Sardinia trip. To be honest all of the places we stayed were excellent but this place just felt extra special and was a lovely ending to our holiday. The surroundings are just beautiful, set amongst the fields and trees. Feels very peaceful. Rooms are clean, spacious and elegantly decorated. We received the warmest of welcomes and the breakfast is just simply amazing! So much choice and very delicious cakes! The place is only 5 minute drive from the town."
