"We only stayed 4 day's at the Cruccuris Resort in a good and clean room. Breakfast was very good and in the evening we had live music. We have had one evening diner at the pool and that was the only thing that was disappointing."

"The hotel is a bit dated but overall well kept, excellent cleaning, nice pool. The sore point was the restaurant room, during the period in which we stayed, a strong and cold mistral wind was blowing and there is no alternative room to dine sheltered from the wind. Unfortunately, even after we complained, the management did not try to change the situation in the slightest, replying that they were sorry but unfortunately they could not do anything about it... I think that something like this is not acceptable. As a result, we always ate cold and in the cold and this is absolutely not good. Even the waiters were embarrassed by the situation because obviously most of the guests did not want to dine in the cold and with gusts of wind. Very kind staff always with a smile"

"The food was very good, as was the breakfast buffet, although unfortunately there was little variety for such a 4-star hotel. We had booked a suite. The shower had a rainforest shower, which unfortunately didn't work. After showering, the bathroom was also flooded! What particularly annoyed me, however, was that even in a hotel like this, they charge an additional fee for the table: per person!!! I'd never been to Italy before, so I didn't know this was apparently common practice. I found it outrageous."
Cormoran Resort Villasimius
"This gorgeous resort is perfect for families and those without children, though room locations vary. While slightly overpriced for the standard of rooms, perhaps this is just Sardinia. The food is lovely and the staff friendly. The lifeguards are fantastic at ensuring kids’ safety at the pool and beach. Overall, it’s a good choice and I’m glad we picked it for our first trip to Sardinia. However, I’d avoid the standard Mediterranean room type. Four of us – two adults and two kids – travelled with one large suitcase and barely fit. Our room was also by the main building, which meant staff were constantly coming and going. There was no grassy area and it was right next to the evening entertainment, making it quite noisy."

"Hotel in the center of Villasimius, simple but well-kept and clean structure. Parking in the streets near the hotel (at least in July). The strong point is definitely the managers, smart guys who know how to recommend beaches, excursions and restaurants. Do not hesitate to ask and rely on their suggestions for a stress-free vacation. Also excellent is the concession of umbrella and beach chairs for those staying more than a week and like us who arrived by plane. Recommended hotel."

"I cannot express enough, how wonderful our stay was here. This place is run so well, by Antonio and his right arm; the beautiful woman who makes it so welcoming and delightful. The room was absolutely perfect, clean, well kept and just lovely. The property, the same. Beautiful gardens around the place, and patio area. Great place to eat breakfast or just lounge. I am not picky but there was nothing I saw out of place. The word immaculate comes to mind. They were generous, kind, helpful, and welcoming at a time Americans aren’t always received well. We also had a challenge the day we were driving back to Cagliari to fly back to Rome. Our rental car which was a new car, simply stopped working. It seemed electrical. The car rental company said they were going to come pick it up, but offered no assistance as to how we would get to the airport. We had some time, but not hours. Antonio and his host were so helpful in trying to help us. Genuinely concerned, when they really didn’t have to be. It wasn’t their challenge. They helped us get a last minute transfer to the airport. The gentleman was there in 5 minutes max. Nice luxury SUV, although we didn’t need it to be. And got us to the airport on time with time to spare. The woman at the hotel was in contact with my husband the whole way to make sure we made it on time. This kind of care and hospitality, is what I love about travel to Italy. Just genuinely wonderful people. We are blessed and grateful we picked this spot. It couldn’t not have been better in anyway. "We chose the Selected plan, attracted by the promise of a high-end stay, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to our expectations. The rooms are very beautiful, spacious, and clean, although on one occasion—despite our explicit request—they forgot to remake them. Some scheduled services were unavailable: the dedicated concierge wasn't staffed, and the resort reception was a disaster. The restaurant with a sea-view terrace wasn't available, and despite multiple requests, we weren't able to dine in a quiet area, away from noisy children. The private pool is truly beautiful, but it was often frequented by noisy children. The Selected plan has potential, but during our week-long visit in early June, it didn't live up to our expectations of a luxury stay."

"Fantastic vacation! Excellent value for money. Very clean rooms, free beach service on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. Very kind staff, everyone from the reception to the bar to the pool and the very nice lifeguards! Also possibility to use the beautiful pool of the green village."

"Absolutely loved our stay there. Alessandra was an amazing host that went above and beyond to accommodate us. My wife has celiac and Alessandra prepared gluten free cakes for her each breakfast. We were blown away by the hospitality. The breakfast was the best we ever had on a trip, and the property is gorgeous. Super close to beaches and a town with great food and a lively nightlife. Have already recommended to friends, and would definitely go back if we are in the area."

Le Anfore Hotel
"Normally we do not like to send negative comments, although sometimes we feel we need to warn people when they are about to choose for a hotel. We booked this place for a week. The location is on a busy road, a restaurant with some rooms on a big parking place and an open garden with a pool. The noise of the cars makes that nobody is at the pool during the day. From their site it seems you can choose for different rooms with different prices, in the end they are all the same. We booked a room which was not available, so we had to pay the highest price for “pool view” room, which obviously had no pool view. This most expensive room was very small, no privacy as you look from your directly into another one and vice versa. Therefore,you had to close the curtains the whole day. Biggest problems where their desasterous beds. It is like you sleep in a wok pan. Next morning we asked if they could do something about it and we noted immediately that this was not the first time people complained about this. They could not do anything as all the beds are old and the same. After insisting, we were promised that they would change the materasses. which in the evening appeared not done. Then the other morning we asked again and they told that they will surely do it from that night. We got the same old worn out materasses from another room so we stopped asking. Breakfast is a joke, no fresh fruit but in juice, no eggs or anything just a brioche and too hot café. Eventhough breakfast was included, we had it only twice and went out for a good backery every morning. One evening we through we try the restaurant but being a hotel guest, they treat you as secondairy people. The older woman which seems the owner told us, first to have the guests from outside the hotel! In the end we had to wait eventhough theyre were plenty of tables and were seated inside with no chairs at the table. After sitting and waiting there for 10 minutes with no one coming to the table, we decided to leave. Poor experience. "
Almar Timi Ama Resort & Spa
"We would have expected more for a 5-star hotel. The floor around the pool bar always looked dirty due to old stains from the dates in the palm trees. For the price I paid, I would have expected at least the soft drinks in the room to be free, instead of charging a whopping 6 euros for them. The prices are far too high overall. A cocktail served in a martini glass cost 18 euros! Dinner buffet per person 65 euros WITHOUT drinks, far too much, at least soft drinks and maybe a table wine could have been included. Breakfast was the same every morning. We know from 4-star hotels that there is also, for example, a glass of prosecco for self-service - unfortunately not here. The evening program (music) was always too loud for the small area and the number of guests present. In the room we missed hooks to air out worn clothes, and a line or clothes rack for wet swimwear would have been nice on the balcony too. Even in our current 4-star hotel there is a small clothes rack on the balcony! Unfortunately we won't be coming back."
Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi
"Lovely family friendly resort hotel directly at a stunning turquoise blue beach with a beautiful rock in front of the beach in the water and fantastic food all day, great breakfast buffet with friendly staff and service, fresh fruit, yoghurt & muesli, charcuterie and smoked seafood and eggs/omelettes to order and evening buffet with fantastic BBQ both seafood/fish which Nicola keeps incredibly juicy vs overcooked in many other places and Bistecca Fiorentina T-Bone steaks thick cut on open BBQ fire and a huge variety of fresh pasta and dessert choices as well as prosciutto crudo and other charcuterie & local cheese freshly cut and highly attentive staff (eg Matteo x 2) and a manager who’s always looking after everyone including serving our son a lovely birthday cake for breakfast and great coffee in the mornings on a beautiful Seaview terrace looking onto palm trees on the beach with a nice breeze and evening cocktails (recommend Illegal Mezcal Rum Lime Juice drink) on the terrace. Family friendly little houses right at the beach front, recommend the ones with Seaview nicely air conditioned in the hot summer with comfy accommodation. Gym & Spa including a shaded indoor pool at the fresh air under a roof and a nice indoor steam room and well equipped indoor gym as well as plenty of activities without having to prebook but being able to simply show up both for parents eg yoga and kids eg football or water activities and buffet includes a kid friendly buffet section as well. All in all, couldn’t think of a more relaxing place that so convenient and in a stunning setting between Mountain View in the back and turquoise water Seaview with palm trees in the front without need to make any reservations for dinners or activities but just enjoy every day in the sunny spot. "Great hotel, quiet (at least at this period). We had a comfort room on the ground floor: big, well equipped in storage and with a nice terrace with comfy sofa, well protected from Mistral. We ate twice at their restaurant : good value, menu renew every day for 40euros for 4 dishes. Breakfast is superb! My only request will be to propose an afternoon tea with the same excellent cakes that you serve at breakfast. A lot of walks directly from the hotel."

"A wonderful place to stay and visit Villasimius and all around. It’s really in the city center. Sabrina immediately welcomed us and let us feel like at home. Our room was really comfortable with all useful things: boiler, coffee machine, small terrace. The breakfast is really great and Sabrina every day tries to accommodate all preferences and add her particular sense of family with her faboulous cakes"
