Aswan Plaza Hotel Corniche ★★★★
"Location and value Convenient for getting around to various attractions. A bit old, but reasonable for the price."
Malindy Ka Nubian House ★★
"The owner was very welcoming and provided excellent service. Highly recommend!"
Obelisk Nile Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel is really old and definitely not worth the price. We stayed in Luxor for the same price and it was much, much better. The room was tiny; it was hard to move around after putting down two suitcases. It was supposed to be a 1.5m bed, but they put a 1.8m mattress on it, so if you sleep too close to the edge, it sags... The toilet leaked all night, and the air conditioning barely cooled the room."
Blue Lotus Nile Suites Aswan Hotel ★★★
"The room's balcony offers a stunning view of the Nile River. The facilities in the room are new and comprehensive, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff are exceptionally attentive and polite, always ready to answer questions, and provide thoughtful service. The location is also convenient. Absolutely recommended!"
Basma Hotel Aswan ★★★★
"The hotel service was great. All staff were nice and kind. The restaurant was good as well."
Crystala Guest House ★★
"The staff were very helpful, but you have to cross a river and if you have a lot of luggage it's difficult because there's no elevator and you have to go up and down stairs... otherwise it's good value for money"
Ekadolli Nubian house- by kerma hospitality ★★
"We had an absolutely AMAZING TIME! From our airport pick up (which I recommend). Even though it was 2am we were still greeted with fantastic Hibiscus tea from Edres he was fantastic. We were shown around even at that time. In the morning we asked for a call to see the sunrise and that was fantastic as well. In the morning we had a great typical breakfast and then a fantastic tour as well. Rowan and Aya also were wonderful. I would recommend this place to see the true Aswan and tour the Nubian Village. Also, the lunch was fantastic as well. Next time we want to spend more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay."
Cleopatra Hotel ★★★
"The facilities are so so. The staff was nice. When I told them I was leaving early the next morning, they prepared a breakfast box for me"
ABU Guest House ★★
"I loved Abu’s guesthouse, Abu himself would organize anything I needed during the stay, short trips, taxis, boats even in the night! He even made me his own organically grown moringa tea! The whole guesthouse is very clean, nice and Abu really puts all his money back into the house to make it better all the time! He has a beautiful sauna, and he can also organize for you sand sauna (which I would definitely recommend). Abu is a local, grew up on the island, and he is a great person to talk with about many interesting things. He can recommend to you what you could do while in Aswan. Abu simply makes you feel at home"

Fenti Nubian Resort
"Breakfast is delicious, airport transfer service is available"
Meshra Katto
"After a hectic few days in Cairo, Meshra Ketto was a perfect change of pace. Situated on Elephantine island, a quick motor boat from the main city Aswan. The island itself isn’t very touristy, though the hotel has beautiful water views and the locals are welcoming and kind. We also recommend eating at Cafe Jamaica for a good meal! The hotel is easily accessible as long as you communicate Mohammad, he is extremely accommodating will take good care of you. If you are interested in exploring the near by Nubian village or any near by temples he can organise it for you for cheap!"
Eco Nubia Ecolodge
"Excellent location hotel"
Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan
"The room basically very old and ages.. Soundproofing very bad, can hear the noise from corridor. Lack of sockets in room. Hotel looks nice but the room maintenance low average. Breakfast very good indeed."
Tolip Aswan Hotel
"If you can't tolerate noise, definitely don't book this place. In Aswan, there's constant motorcycle noise late at night, especially late at night. We were staying on the fifth floor, which felt like sleeping on the street. Otherwise, there's not much to say. Hotels in Aswan are generally quite old, and this one was no exception—similar to a slightly better hotel in China from the 1970s or 80s. There were only two electrical outlets in the entire room."
Old Cataract, Aswan
"A highly recommended hotel with exceptional service. The staff were incredibly helpful, even offering to carry our breakfast plates. Our two-day stay was fantastic, but one day simply isn't enough – I'd suggest staying for several days."
The Zen Wellness Resort
"super friendly staff, one of the reception, dina, was really friendly and happy to help with anything. she gave me her personal whatsapp number and i can just reach out for whatever needs i have and she is always happy to help hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable to stay in highly recommended"
Sonesta Nouba Hotel Aswan
"The room was incredibly small and dated, with outdated furnishings. The water flow for washing and bathing was minimal, and the floor drain was clogged, making it difficult for water to drain. It's not suitable for families. Breakfast wasn't a buffet; each person was served a portion, which was unpalatable. Before check-in, they said children were welcome, but upon check-in, they were told they must be under 6, which wasn't clearly stated. They then forced us to pay a child's fee of over $80 per night. The problem was, even after adding the extra child-friendly service and amenities, they weren't provided. Even after I emphasized the need for an extra child's, none were delivered. Most frustratingly, there was only one complimentary bottle of mineral water; everything else had to be paid for! The staff were all men, so if you're a woman traveling alone or without a male companion, avoid this place. It's also far from the tourist attractions. The only upside is that it's right on the banks of the Nile, allowing for sunset and sunrise viewing. However, the restaurant wasn't very good, and there was no chance to watch the sunset while dining."
