"It was a wonderful experience.
The room was clean and well-equipped with all the basic amenities. It had air conditioning, a refrigerator, a refrigerator pot, soap, paper towels, mugs and tea, a small locker, hangers, and a blanket.
The bathroom was also spacious and easy to use.
The hotel is located about a two-minute walk from the ferry terminal. The island's roads are not well-maintained, so we don't recommend carrying a suitcase.
There are two delicious restaurants nearby where you can have breakfast. The restaurant next to the ferry terminal also offers takeout.
The ferry runs frequently and costs £15 per person. However, between midnight and 6am it costs £75 per person.
Generally, there's nothing to worry about with the ferry.
The owner was very kind and explained everything clearly at check-in. He also arranged an Abu Simbel Temple tour and airport transfers for us.
If you're considering the Abu Simbel Temple tour, please note that regular tours may not include island transfers, so ask the owner if they can arrange one.
Please note that unlike regular hotels, there is not always someone at the front desk."

Nubian House on elephantine island
"It is located in Nubian Village on the Nile River. You can travel to and from the main island by public ferry for 10 Egyptian pounds. It seems that they offer a free ferry at any time for check-in and check-out. Also, Baky, who helped us, was quick to respond and very helpful! We were able to ask anything and he was flexible, so we had no trouble staying there. Also, unlike the main island, the people in Nubian Village don't tout, and the children are adorable, so it was a really relaxing place. Please come and visit."

WwangwinworldThis was the most expensive hotel on our trip to Egypt, and it was quite a hassle getting there. Our flight was delayed for a long time, and the only transportation from the airport was unofficial taxis. However, the hotel was worth it. We paid an extra $150 for our child, which included a lavish afternoon tea that practically served as dinner. We missed the group tour, but since we were only staying one day, they gave us a private tour of Churchill's and Agatha Christie's rooms. The old building offered a unique atmosphere and view. Housekeeping was 24/7, so you could request cleaning at any time. There's a Carrefour nearby with very affordable items. Breakfast was decent, though my child felt it wasn't varied enough, so they brought out freshly baked bread and other treats. The service truly was excellent, and we had a great experience. The new building's rooms were also very spacious, but it was just too hot. It might be better to visit in winter.

YYilmaz KalafatogluHIGHLY RECOMMENDED! First of all it is like a staying with your family far from home, in a very tourist welcoming area in general but also the hotel. All Nubian people are welcoming and honest; especially if you are coming from somewhere other than Egypt you will feel refreshed getting rid of bargaining. Hotel arranged an Abu Simbel transportation (which was 3 hours away)with lunch box for us early in the morning at 04:00 am we came back around 1 pm and take a tour to Philae Temple then came back to hotel (which was our cozy home) and Ahmed took us to village as a local, guided as and provided fair prices, we experienced their culture seeing the magnificently painted surroundings also jumping in local houses with tortoise and crocodiles, and they have provided us transportation to Aswan Train Station. I even felt sad because of leaving a place with full of brothers. Thanks to Ahmed (both), Ms Mai, Mohammed and Islam. It was an amazing experience, you shall not say i’ve visited Egypt before seeing Nubian Village.

__WeChat292883****Facilities: Very new, a rare sight in Aswan. They even have Chinese outlets and hot water for breakfast – I suspect they've been customized for Chinese people. 😹
Cleanliness: Very clean
Ambient: A view of the Nile from a distance, but it's not very clear for photos; it's still far from the close-up view of the Old Falls in the picture.
Service: Excellent, excellent. The welcome snacks, fruit, and wine were plentiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

Service: Good service, some staff can speak English, communication is barrier-free; round trip boat ride is free, round trip boat ride during the stay is 200 pounds, round trip to Philae Temple is 400 pounds (it seems that the temple pier charges some fees); we asked the hotel to book a car to Abu Simbel Temple, 4100 Egyptian pounds, a little expensive but it seems to be a service provided by a formal company, the driver is very good👍
Environment: The hotel is opposite the Philae Temple, and it takes about ten minutes to take a boat from the pier to the island where the hotel is located. The scenery of the Nile is beautiful: there will be some geckos in the room, hahaha, but there is no problem with going to the toilet and taking a shower, and the sanitary conditions are better than expected.
Overall, it is worth recommending. There is no wifi, but it is an interesting natural experience.

I strongly recommend the restaurant on the 13th floor (make sure to make a reservation when you check in). The food is very good and it is the best restaurant in Egypt for ten days.
The local restaurant on the first floor is not delicious.

KKapoerdaierA friend of mine went to Nubian with a tour group before and felt that it was not fun and the conditions were primitive, but the experience of traveling independently is completely different. It is like drinking water for a pony crossing the river. We all have the experience of staying in luxury hotels. This time, I mustered up the courage to travel instead of vacation, hoping to experience the local customs and customs to a certain extent, and to see the world from a different perspective... My phone fell, and the Tuktuk guy immediately took it back to find it. The kind Nubian girl reminded me in time to prevent me from losing my passport. The phone fell at the counter at the airport and was promptly informed by the kind ground staff... Basam of the hotel helped us arrange a chartered boat from the east bank of the Nile to the hotel directly after going down the river for dozens of minutes. I watched the moon and stars on the top of the boat, and drifted on the quiet Nile River under the moonlight. These are special experiences that are not available on XHS... There is also Nubian dance in the hotel at night! The breakfast is also rich and the scenery is beautiful! Breakfast on the Nile!

Pool side was great with a view of the Nile, plenty of chairs and fresh towels, although bar staff sometimes a little slow on drink and food refills this could be forgiven
Buffet breakfast had a good selection including eggs made to order, staff very attentive
Dinner selection was OK but again great service

AAnonymous UserI was treated very well by Yara, Hossam, and the boy at the reception, whose name I think was Anas???! The service was polite and pleasant, and they kindly answered all my questions! It was also great that I could get to the hotel from the station through the arcade where they sell souvenirs! (The arcade road is smooth, so it's easy to roll a carry-on bag.)
I also liked that I could book a tour to the Abu Simbel Temples at the hotel! It was also great that I could have breakfast even if I left early in the morning for the tour! Also, the hair dryer was super fast, the best hair dryer I've ever used.
It was a great hotel! I'd love to stay again!

Hot shower and the best view but 100% of the credit for our amazing time goes, to helma the manager and his staff especially khalid who was there for everything we needed , Helmy went above and beyond driving us to the sights for less than.a taxi , but the most amazing was. The Nile under our Balcony full of. Feluka boats to take you to ancient temples and delicious waterside cafes and historic islands this hotel might look nothing.but if you want the true Nubian experience of aswanth8s 8s the place for you ,basic breakfast of bread honey eggs and cheese with tomatoes for the price amazing ,, Linda and ivy uk x

GGuest UserWhat you see is what you get, very cute place. The whole village is super cute in dopamine style!  Breakfast is delicious, you can eat on the balcony and the scenery is particularly good, directly see the Nile!  The sister of the homestay also took me to touch the little crocodile for free! Super experience! This small village is especially suitable for hanging out and relaxing for a leisurely day!
