Kamo District Hotels with Balcony

The hot spring was very comfortable; it's essentially a small, rural inn offering a one-night stay with two meals. The food was just okay, and there were mosquitoes in the hotel, which wasn't ideal. Also, Chinese tourists should be aware that to the left of the hotel's main entrance, there's a large monument inscribed with something like ”In memory of the heroic spirits of the Imperial Army.” Given the significant number of Chinese guests, I'd suggest the hotel consider their feelings and perhaps reorient the main entrance. (Actually, the hotel has a back entrance facing the sea, which allows you to bypass the monument).

河津木屋酒店是一個獨棟的別墅，樣式復古很漂亮很多遊客會打卡拍照。住宿的地方位於二樓是旋轉的木質樓梯，有大件行李會略有不便。房間裏面非常漂亮，三張床其中有一個上下鋪，酒店會根據入住人數開放房間，三人入住就是一個房間。衞生間設施齊全有浴缸和淋浴，能夠滿足不同需求。和式的起居室有沙發和桌子還有墊子，舒適便捷。餐廳廚房設施齊全，冰箱、微波爐、熱水壺都有，也可以做飯，還可以在天台燒烤。天台的風景不錯，可以看到櫻花，可惜2月還有些涼。酒店辦理入住的人員特意等待我們坐火車遠道而來的遊客，為我們現場辦理入住,避免了拖着行李去很遠的地方辦理入住手續，服務人員熱情友善，盡力與我們溝通，人很好！特別是第二天退房後讓我們在樓下的辦公區域免費寄存行李，方便了我們遊覽櫻花，非常感謝！酒店位置超讚步行到觀賞櫻花的地方就兩分鐘路程，到河津站也不遠步行十分鐘左右就到了。來年河津櫻花祭推薦這家酒店。

I stayed for five nights and chose Imahama Tokyu Hotel over Shimoda Tokyu Hotel, mainly because it's within walking distance to the station, even without using the hotel shuttle. We arrived in Tokyo at 2 PM by plane, so we definitely missed the hotel shuttle. We took a train to Imahama station ourselves, but that station was a pain – no elevator, so we had to carry all our luggage down. Also, the Izu area at night can be a bit spooky with limited street lighting. Ms. Masaki, who checked us in, was very friendly. Later, she even provided emergency first aid for my family and me, which was much appreciated. However, some individual staff members at this hotel weren't very friendly towards foreign guests. Perhaps it's because they mainly cater to local tour groups. Some rude interactions made me uncomfortable, but this was only with a few staff members; most were friendly. Breakfast quality was decent and offered a good variety. Due to personal taste, my options were limited, but every morning there was a freshly prepared item, and they were all quite good. I especially liked the tempura fish and croquettes. The young man frying the croquettes was also very enthusiastic. This hotel also provides a microwave, ice machine, washing machine, and dryer. We didn't use the washing machine and dryer due to questionable hygiene concerns, but the microwave was very convenient. We'd often return to our room in the afternoon for a break and could easily heat up some simple food. The room cleaning service was excellent; it was spotless every day. My only regret is that the sofa bed was uncomfortable. When unfolded, the headrest area sank in, causing neck pain, unlike sofa beds in other hotels. Of course, Ms. Masaki did suggest upgrading to a room with a proper bed for an extra charge during check-in, but I decided against it due to the cost. Additionally, there were a lot of mosquitoes and flying insects in the summer here. We killed several mosquitoes and flies in our room and were bitten during breakfast. After the first night when we enjoyed the view from the balcony, we didn't dare open it again because there were too many bugs, especially at night. I suggest the hotel implements some pest control measures, like mosquito repellent lamps or wall-mounted insecticides (my family uses these every summer to treat our balcony walls).

This stay at inatori got to be one of the best decisions made. The room came with an absolutely stunning sea view which made this trip from the bustling city worth it!! You need to add the breakfast and dinner to your package too because the food served are top quality and so so delicious. We ate till we were stuffed every single night!! There’s no other hotel that come close to this amazing experience we had here. We also enjoyed the private onsen which can be booked by paying +$$ As the place is very much catered to local tourists, most of the menu, instructions are in Japanese, so just use your translator app if you have any questions! They do have staff who can speak English / mandarin!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel in Atagawa. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully decorated, and the staff were very welcoming. The same young man handled both check-in and check-out, and we communicated fluently in English throughout. He provided detailed information, and since we hadn't booked dinner, he proactively recommended several nearby restaurants and local specialties. We even tried the nearby restaurants ”Nishiki” and ”Oboro.” He was especially considerate when we checked out, offering to drive us to the station – a very thoughtful gesture. During our stay, we also enjoyed the two outdoor onsen rooms on the third floor. Soaking in the hot spring while listening to the sound of the waves was truly relaxing. I highly recommend experiencing this hotel in Atagawa.

The room we stayed in was very big, a Western-style room with two mattresses and a massage chair. The hotel's open-air hot spring bath has a great view, facing the sea. The breakfast and dinner were very rich, and the staff also thoughtfully gave each of us a lunch box when we went out in the morning. I felt that the value of the room fee was reflected in the meals. The hotel will have a free shuttle bus at Izu Atagawa Station before 4 pm every day, every hour and 30 minutes, and every half hour, so you can easily get to the hotel if you calculate the time.

大人こども総勢９名で宿泊しましたが、それでもスペースが余ってしまうほどとても広いお部屋でした。 調理器具や家電、さらには流しそうめんができる設備もあり、非日常を感じることができるとても素敵な宿でした。
