"The place was spotlessly clean, the staff were incredibly kind, and the buffet was fantastic with a wide variety of Japanese dishes. It was the perfect place to reset my tired mind and body, and I am grateful for the heartfelt hospitality. Thank you very much."

Kaiseki cuisine and an all-you-can-eat half buffet. A healing place in autumn and winter with seven private baths and a large public bath offering a sense of privacy.

"The best accommodation experience for this trip to the east and west coasts of central Japan. Japanese-style rooms, tatami mats, large space, quiet, nice views from the window, a rich breakfast buffet, two kinds of raw fish taste good, hot springs are refreshing, and free noodle soup at night. Free pick-up and drop-off at the station."

"There is no bathroom in the room. I have to go to the big bath. The hotel has a shuttle bus, but I need to book. Otherwise, it is all a large angle slope. I will go **. I need to change slippers in and out of the hotel. It is more troublesome. The hot water of the faucet is limited. It will burn after use."

Amazing
GGuest UserConsidering the price, especially compared to other private onsen (hot spring) options in Izu, getting two private baths – one indoor and one outdoor – is incredible! Plus, there's a little courtyard with koi fish and a free breakfast! You can even send postcards home for free! The lobby has seeds from the seasonal plants in their garden, some small crafts for sale, and a little bookshelf. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, there's a small stream lined with maple trees, which I imagine would be beautiful in autumn. It feels very lived-in, like staying in an old house from a classic Japanese drama. The building is old, but everything is spotlessly clean and tidy. The lobby doesn't have air conditioning, so it was quite hot from the entrance all the way to the room, and there were huge mosquitoes. AC is only in the rooms, and they provided an extra fan, which kept things pretty cool. If you open other doors in the room, it can cool down the adjacent room a bit (but not much). Most of the time, you can sit in front of the garden, zone out, and feed the fish. It's a bit of a walk to the station and convenience store, but over my two days there, I found the scenery along the way quite nice. Rural Japan isn't as convenient as commercial centers, offering a quiet, peaceful kind of inconvenience (said playfully, of course). Oh, and there was a large spider in the room. I tried to shoo it out but couldn't, so I called a staff member who kindly removed it for me. Also, remember to turn off the lights if you're not using the bathroom or the outdoor private bath, as outdoor lights attract a lot of bugs. Overall, it was great, and I'd definitely come back.

AAnonymous UserConsidering the price, it's pretty good. The views are lovely, and it's not far from the station – definitely within a ten-minute walk. Overall, everything was nice. The front desk staff spoke good English, so communication was seamless. The hot springs weren't crowded either. The only minor point is the dinner buffet; I felt it was just average, and for the price difference, you could probably eat much better outside.

GGuest UserThis is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are  the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.  Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay.

GGuest UserThe room and environment are great, and the service is also very good. I just asked the front desk to borrow an adapter, but there was no adapter. In addition, the Western food reserved for dinner was said to be the default on Ctrip, but I did not choose Western food. Why should I go to a Japanese-style hotel? Maybe they all ordered Western food, but after negotiating for a long time, they changed to Japanese food for one night. I don't know who should be blamed for this problem.

GGuest UserThis is the hot spring hotel I was most satisfied with during my trip to Izu. There is a 24-hour convenience store right at the door. The hotel shuttle bus is very convenient. I called the hotel as soon as I arrived at Atagawa Station. I saw the staff holding a sign when I got out of the station. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to the hotel. In fact, the hotel is just a little above the station, but it is still very troublesome to walk and you have to take a detour. The front desk was very welcoming, and there was a Japanese aunt who introduced the hotel's hot springs and restaurants along the way and sent us to the room. She also helped to introduce the room facilities, which gave people a very friendly feeling. During the meal, there was a young man with a ********* accent who served us, served the dishes and introduced them in detail. The meal included Atagawa's local specialties and golden eye seabream. Although the taste was a bit light and sweet, it was okay to try. After dinner, I went to experience the hot springs. There are several indoor and outdoor pools. The next morning, breakfast was very delicious, and I felt it was better than dinner. 😋 After checking out, I was sent to the station and caught the sea-viewing train Golden Eye Seabream.

GGuest UserVery amazing, breakfast is simply too rich! There are almost no people in the hotel soup pool. It is a child who stays in this house and will ask for an extra charge, so if you bring a child, you must communicate with the hotel in advance. In short, the accommodation environment is really good, all-Japanese style, a deep night! Ctrip.com is still very powerful, and I am very satisfied with the after-sales 👍!

GGuest UserMy parents were very satisfied with their stay. They enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor hot springs, and we also had beer and Udon. The breakfast spread included plenty of vegetables too. Apart from the bad weather on the day we visited, everything else was fantastic. Absolutely great value for money!

GGuest UserIt's inconvenient to go far from Mishima, but I was relieved to see that the interior was nicer than the exterior. The dinner buffet had a lot of sushi, and best of all, the all-you-can-drink alcohol was great. The room had the feel of a good old Japanese hotel, so as long as you don't expect too much, I don't think you'll be dissatisfied. The baths were also very clean, and the open-air cypress bath in particular had a luxurious feel. This time I stayed with a friend, but I'd like to bring my children and relax as a family, so if I have the opportunity, I'd like to stay here again.
