Update: Pretty sure I got a sinus infection from my room. (See review and photos) Not the worst Hotel I've ever stayed in, but the worst Hilton experience so far. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is it's proximity. 1. Proximity to the job site I worked out of 2. Proximity to the Airport 3. Proximity away from crime When I arrived, the atrium was nice and the pool area is actually really nice. When I opened the door to the room, the musty smell hit almost immediately. Thankfully because it's PHX, I was able to open the window and run the fan to get some fresh air into the room. Only after 3 afternoons of doing this same practice did it finally start smelling less musty by Wednesday night. I inspected the HVAC intake and noticed that the filters appeared to have an installed date. I think it says 1-26-2022 (or 1-24-2022) either way I'm no HVAC expert, but I believe even the best filters need to be changed more than that... only 1 out of the 4 toiletries had anything in it or the only one actually working. (see photos) Since I work all day, I didn't feel like making it a big thing at the front desk. Should I have? I guess I could have, but for Hilton Honors users, we have a handy app that lets you use your phone as a key among other features. one of them is to communicate with the hotel. I decided to try it out and sent a message on Tuesday. No response. On my last evening, I sent one other message. (see photos) I'm a fairly forgiving guy, but considering this is one of the only supposed ”4-star” hotels in the vicinity, I was hoping for a little more. They don't service the room but once every 5 days (unless you ask for it, but again; Why have a communication feature if you don't monitor it?) if I come back to Phoenix, This will NOT be my first choice. I'm going to say right now, I'll probably look in nearby Tempe or some other suburb and risk the 20-30min. commute than stay here again.

Known as an Arizona landmark with a century-old legacy and a celebration of Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced architecture and design, the Arizona Biltmore provides a glamorous oasis built among 39 acres adorned with lush gardens and seven glistening swimming pools.
More than 700 guest rooms, seven sparkling pools, seven dining outlets, a 65-foot waterslide, two championship golf courses, 200,000 square feet of meeting and event space and Forbes 4-Star rated Tierra Luna Spa await. We offer luxury not typically found in resorts of this size - while still honoring the history of this iconic and magical destination.
GGuest User2023.07.21
This was my wife and my 10th+ visit there. We went back partly to sit by the pool and partly to see the renovations that have recently been made. I think that the chief differentiator of the Biltmore vs other luxury hotels is its beautiful and unique architecture. The new owners don't seem to have realized that. There are 4 big changes at the hotel. 1) The new adults- only pool. While it took out part of the beautiful Biltmore lawn, it's a good addition. More non-reserved seating would really help - the free seating fills quickly. 2) The new outdoor bar. It takes up the rest of the former lawn. It looks like a spaceship landed on the Biltmore lawn. It has zero design cues from the rest of the hotel and looks like it could go behind any old Marriott or Hilton. 3) The new waterslide at the Paradise Pool. The old slide was in a very Biltmore-esqe tower. The new one, which can be seen from many places at the resort, is a generic steel tower that clashes with everything else at the Biltmore except the new spaceship bar. 4) Dining prices have gone thru the roof. It's not worth the risk to pay these prices, and while good, pool lunch food is really pricey. While the rooms, lobby and grounds remain beautiful, it is concerning to see the direction current management is taking. They are currently on a path to slowly turn this place into a mishmash of stuff that totally loses the defining feature of the hotel - amazing, unique and beautiful architecture.

This is such a cute hotel that really feels like an oasis in the desert. The ambiance and vibe were all really great. The staff was extremely helpful. I enjoyed the welcome popsicles and the pool was great. The room was fairly clean and the tv had good options. The comforter kind of freaked me out as it looked like it was growing mold (see photo), but I just tried to think it was the cotton in the comforter all bunched up, at least that made me sleep better.

We celebrated 2 friends birthdays over a weekend trip. We had to pay extra to guarantee connecting rooms but it was worth it. The hotel is beautiful with several pools and a water park with a lazy river. The only downside was the bathroom floor and shower area could have been cleaner. But Clara Jane was at the check in desk, she was in training still but did an amazing job helping me. She sent a follow up card to our room and birthday treats for my friends. Great personal touches that mean a lot!! The restaurant choices for dinner were limited as one of them was closed for a few weeks.

After checking in on August 5, 2022 @ 9:30pm. Was upgraded to a golf/Mountain View 2 Double bed Suite. While I scored a $72/night deal on the Hilton app I kinda wish I never booked here due to multiple reasons like elevators taking way to long to breakfast staff not opening on time. Last night after checking In I waited almost 25 minutes for the elevator so I can get to my room. I then had to wait almost 30 minutes past 7am for the breakfast room to open up. While the room is clean I just don’t understand what’s going on here. They really need to fix those elevators as they take forever. We will see how breakfast goes tomorrow before checkout but enjoy these photos. After checking out on August 7, 2022 I had the same issue with the breakfast opening up late as well as the elevators taking forever. I’m not sure if I’ll return…

It was really nice to have a grocery store near by and if you’re up to take a decent walk to Target or Burlington when you forget to bring something then this is the place for you. The breakfast was okay (not the best). My room as clean so I had no complaints because I really inspect. The view from my room was bad but looking out my room from the entrance was great. Other than that, the staff was nice. Loved that they had shuttles to take you to and from the airport (which isn’t that far) so that was very convenient. Also, getting to the downtown of Phoenix or even Scottsdale area was really good because Ubers and Lyft’s were well priced.

The house prices are really not cheap. The townhouses and apartments in this area were bought casually at the price of 30,000 to 40,000 US dollars in 2008. So the relative land prices, the hotel is really profitable, and the hotel has a $ 39 resort fee. Ctrip is not included in the price. So be very careful when ordering, except for local tyrants. The hotel has a lot of ”pits”. I ordered a self-service restaurant at night, so no tip was given. After signing the order, the bank sent a text message. The price increased by 20 [%] Fortunately, the bank presided over justice. The place for breakfast was not labeled, but the ordinary Crossint and donuts in a supermarket each cost $ 4 for a total of $ 8. Fortunately only booked for one day

HhaganI highly enjoyed the room itself. Every time I stay I cannot stop raving about the structure of the rooms let alone the BATHROOMS? the walk in shower with a mirror and seat is seriously the most beautiful and relaxing “shower” I have ever seen in Arizona and i’ve been to lots of hotels here. Although they do not have a 24 hour service room service, the front desk of always kind and eager to help me with whatever I need. They answer my questions throughly and I am a guest who frequently needs early check in and they always try to accommodate me as best as they can. The pool is a bit small but definitely relaxing and the food in and around the hotel is simply magnificent. Would definitely recommend staying here if you have the opportunity to!

GGuest UserThe gentleman who checked us in was awesome, also the gentleman who took towels to us, as there were none in the pool area. My feedback is this... My children went in the pool, they somehow came out of the pool with cuts on their hands and feet... The pool water had a nasty taste, is what my kids said, I told them close your mouth when going under. I said it's the bleach, to which they responded, but other pools water doesn't taste like this... So either it isn't being cleaned properly or something. I did enjoy My stay, but was disappointed that there wasn't continental breakfast offered for the price we paid. When I asked the gentleman at the front desk, he said he didn't know why it isn't offered, but that it isn't offered in all their locations. I left my dreaming big dreams sign on the inside of my room, thinking someone was going to come and take out the trash, but no one ever came, so I just got a grocery bag and put the trash in there. Otherwise our stay was great, the beds are comfortable, but I'm almost positive our beds were full size and not queen. I would know because I have a queen at home. Are rooms with queen size beds the same price as full sized ones?

I've always loved this hotel for its whirlpool suites with tvs above them. You cannot relax any better than that. The presidential is my favorite as it's a bit bigger has a bigger table fireplace and huge deck overlooking the pool. It wasn't available when I booked so I settled for one of the others which are also very nice. Then it became available so I got it for one night and called the hotel but even though it showed available online I was told it wasn't and couldn't upgrade. So I booked it online. Now I had 2 rooms when I only needed one and didn't want to change rooms. I figured I would talk to them when I got there. Elise was amazing and was able to keep me in that room without making me pay for the other room that was past cancelation time. She was awesome. My digital key was ready by 10a the next day but my son and I stopped at the desk to have our physical keys re keyed. The manager on duty I'm sorry I did not get his name but he was amazing as well. Even remembered our room number when we came back and bought drinks at the suite shop. The pool is nice and clean but did not have towels left when we went down at 7p but I called the front desk and they arrived in minutes. Everyone working there I encountered did a wonderful job above and beyond which keeps me coming back.

TTraveler35523717750My husband and I were in town for Spring Training and we stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great, right off a freeway. Which also made it a little noisy as our room faced the freeway. The room was spacious and comfortable. The room came with a small fridge with small freezer and coffee maker. We didn't use the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that. For us, the location was great. This hotel was within 15-20 of the ballparks we went to.

Outstanding customer service! I had called Sonesta Select on Camelback the night before my arrival and had the pleasure of briefly speaking with Nakayla Thomas. She was so very pleasant to listen to my requests and noted my booking that her team would do all possible to accommodate my late arrival and balcony request. The next day I managed to catch an earlier flight and had the pleasure of meeting Nakayla Thomas at the front desk as my check-in agent. She is so professional, knowledgeable, friendly and clearly enjoys her position and helping others. It was such a rare treat to experience such incredible, kind, caring customer service these days. Even though the hotel was full to capacity, Miss Thomas found an excellent room for me on the ground floor that ended up having a beautiful rock and cactus garden right outside my sliding glass door with a little but comfortable seating area - it was perfect! Miss Thomas's attitude and genuine customer service set the tone for a wonderful stay! - Please convey my heartfelt thanks to her, the world needs more people like Nakayla Thomas! Tthewhitings5We decided to try The Westin Kierland for the first time and boy are we glad we did. I feel like their favorite words are ”sure” and ”no problem” and ”there is no charge for that”. We ended up having to change the dates of our stay by a couple days and Marcie who helped me book my package, pick a great room & reserve a couple pool chairs said ”no problem” and switched it. She was amazing. We got a late flight change and asked if we could stay past check out...”sure”. We asked if we could cancel our pool chairs for the last day of our reservation, sure ”there is no charge for that”. The gentleman who worked around the adult pool giving waters was great. He was there so fast if our waters ran out. We loved that we didn't have to reserve chairs by the adult pool. All around a great resort. I dont expect a yes every time but it was shocking how happy they are to please guests.
DDeenaWe really enjoyed our stay at this resort. My children and I enjoyed the on-site water park. The rooms were lovely and clean. We plan to make this our go to place to rent. I wish check in was earlier than 6pm but other than that everything was good.
