A truly therapeutic French-style B&B experience ✨ Tangli, you won't want to leave!
On this trip with the kids, we discovered this hidden gem of a B&B, ”Tangli,” nestled amidst mountains and water. From the moment we entered until we left, we were enveloped in a gentle embrace – I have to rave about it!
🏡 Ambiance: A perfect blend of French and Jiangnan styles
We were immediately struck by its beauty upon entering! The Chinese-style wooden structure paired with gray bricks and white walls possesses both the charm of old architecture and the openness of modern design. The central courtyard is lush and green, with a wooden terrace, lounge chairs, and a babbling brook – every snapshot is a masterpiece of ambiance. The kids can run and play in the yard without any safety concerns, and adults can completely relax.
The interior is even more aesthetically pleasing! Vintage floral tiles, wooden stairs, large, clear windows, and a bookshelf area filled with the scent of books – every detail exudes refinement and care. The riverside outdoor seating is absolutely stunning! Enjoying the river breeze, gazing at the distant mountains and flowing water, and sipping coffee creates a truly immersive atmosphere – perfect for taking amazing photos with kids!
🛋️ Service: Heartwarming Attention to Detail
The service at this guesthouse is truly impeccable! From check-in to check-out, we were taken care of flawlessly. They proactively helped with luggage, provided information on nearby attractions, and even thoughtfully prepared snacks and toys for the children, treating guests like friends.
🍴 Amenities: A Comfortable Experience Filled with Attention to Detail
The guesthouse's common areas are fantastic! There's a cozy coffee bar with the aroma of freshly ground coffee; a spacious relaxation area perfect for gatherings with friends or family activities; and a quiet reading corner where you can relax and unwind.
The rooms are clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding; the kids fell asleep instantly after playing. The only drawback was that the room we booked didn't have the best orientation and wasn't particularly well-ventilated.
🌿 A Perfect Choice for Kids
As a family with children, the most important factors are a safe environment, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Tangli perfectly meets all expectations! The spacious common areas provide ample play area for children, while the greenery and small animals (including adorable fruit trees) in the courtyard allow kids to connect with nature up close, and adults can enjoy a slower pace of life.
The guesthouse is surrounded by beautiful mountain and water scenery, making it perfect for walks, strolling with kids, and taking photos. It's a truly relaxing place to unwind and enjoy quality family time.
In short, Tangli is definitely the top choice for your trip!

The parking location is convenient, and travel is also convenient. There is an old street downstairs, and Guangming Temple is in the distance. The room is nice, there is an elevator, and the restaurant downstairs is delicious. I won’t post pictures of the food to avoid ruining the surprise. The boss is warm and hospitable, recommended!

Guest UserThe housekeeper called in advance to inform me of the directions and added me on WeChat to send detailed video navigation. I was incredibly lucky this time, as I received a free room upgrade. The environment was very comfortable, located right at the entrance of the ancient town, with a large lawn where I could fully enjoy sunbathing.

onyonThe hotel is right next to the scenic area entrance. We arrived at 9 pm and there was plenty of parking. The front desk proactively upgraded our room to an executive family single room, combining the spaciousness of an executive room with the multiple beds of a family room. Even though the kids are older, they were still fascinated by the tents and rocking horses. The room had air conditioning, radiators, and an electric blanket under the mattress—a delightful surprise on a winter night. The window could be opened, letting in the fresh mountain air, ensuring a restful sleep. The breakfast selection was plentiful, with a spacious and elegant restaurant connecting to the dinner area. A short walk of 100 meters from the main lobby entrance leads directly to the scenic area ticket gate by elevator. Our legs were sore from the climb at Wawu Mountain, so being able to relax and soak in the hot springs right outside the scenic area was incredibly relaxing. The hot springs were outdoors, surrounded by green trees and rocks, with winding paths leading to a secluded spot. The scenic area ticket was valid for two days, so we stayed for both.

Guest UserThe reviews were great. The main gate is a grand stone archway, and stepping inside feels like entering a secluded paradise. The environment is beautiful, with a view of the reservoir that's perfect for photos. There's also a lakeside path for strolling. The hillside is lined with small villas.
Thumbs up 1: They proactively upgraded our room. Bringing the kids, we were moved to a family room, which was much more comfortable. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and the bedding was great. There was a sofa and a balcony where we could enjoy tea.
Thumbs up 2: It was the first time I'd seen so many bottles of mineral water; they were very generous with the selection, enough for everyone.
The breakfast was also plentiful, and my family was very satisfied. Wishing them booming business!

Guest UserOur butler, Light, contacted us a day in advance to understand our check-in needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests – truly commendable! 👍 This stay truly exceeded our expectations. Previously, we stayed at the Intercontinental next door, which was a bit noisy, humid, and crowded. Breakfast there felt like a scramble! This time, we booked the Angsana Hotel right next to it. We received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the bathroom was especially spacious, perfect for a family of four like ours (two adults, two kids) who need to dry a lot of swimwear and caps! The shuttle bus was very convenient. We love the lively atmosphere of the water park, but prefer the quiet comfort of this hotel for relaxation! The value for money is outstanding, and the breakfast on the second day perfectly suited our family's tastes. We enjoyed a peaceful breakfast before heading back to the water park. Our kids said that next time we come to the water park, they'd definitely choose Angsana again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone – a truly comfortable and peaceful stay!

ZhuweiguoFive out of five stars, highly recommend Club Med Joyview Black Dragon Lake Resort! It's a hidden gem for families, just an hour's drive from Chengdu. They have an infinity pool with lake views, an indoor heated water park, rock climbing, archery, and even deer feeding. Plus, there are weekend fireworks and evening stage performances, so there's something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
Special shout-out to GROMia from Guest Relations! She thoughtfully sent the daily activity schedule before our stay and patiently guided us with the kids throughout our visit. She was quick to respond to any questions, and her kind and meticulous service made our entire vacation experience incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely be back for our next holiday!

Anonymous UserThe room offered a fantastic view, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the serene Heilongtan Lake. The mountains and water in the morning mist were picturesque. The bedding met InterContinental's usual high standards, though some furniture showed slight wear (e.g., a lightly scuffed sofa). The family room with its small tent and children's amenities was a thoughtful touch, but the soundproofing was a bit weak, as footsteps from the corridor could be heard.
The front desk service was efficient, completing check-in in just 10 minutes and proactively upgrading us to a lake view room. Housekeeping was responsive, and the turndown service was meticulous (they even posed our child's doll).
The buffet breakfast at the Lobby Tree Western Restaurant offered a wide variety of options, including local specialty fish hotpot.
Leisure facilities included activities like Baduanjin, rice paddy fishing, and stretching yoga. The over 2000㎡ water park was a highlight, with its thoughtful heated children's slides, though the water temperature in some of the massage pools was inconsistent.

Guest UserStaff training is inadequate, staff quality is poor, and management level and processes urgently need improvement, which is inconsistent with the hotel's positioning and pricing. The so-called Western and Chinese breakfast options are already limited, and what's most unacceptable is that after ordering two bowls of noodles, the young man remained silent after receiving one, first ”gesturing” that he would come back later, then offering to give it to me as I pleased. It wasn't until the fourth round of argument that he finally ”spoke up” to explain that there was a queue and we should queue from the left (probably because I was on the right at the time). Complaining was futile, as he was the supervisor and would ignore you. I was forced to go to the front desk to get a response from the duty manager. The explanation was that they couldn't remember the number of people (see the picture for the maximum number)? Or couldn't they just tell us to queue when there are many people? Actually, I noticed this when I inquired during my check-in in the afternoon.
