The experience of staying at Baining Yipin Hotel this time far exceeded expectations! The overall hotel is light and elegant, the lobby is full of green plants, quiet in the middle of noisy, and the environment is clean and advanced. The room is lighted and transparent, the sanitation is particularly meticulous, there is no dust in the corners, the smart facilities in the whole house are very convenient, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the sound insulation effect is very good, and the night sleep is particularly stable. The front desk service is warm and intimate, the check-in is efficient and fast, the demand response is also very timely, the supporting facilities are complete, and the parking is convenient. Whether it is a business trip or a short trip, it is very suitable. The details are full of care, the price is very high, and I will choose here next time. It is highly recommended!

The hotel is clean, and the breakfast is good. However, it's not conveniently located near a transportation hub. On the plus side, a big shopping mall is nearby within 15mins walking distance. There are a few restaurants and basic shops nearby.

The building itself was modern and simple. The use of a voice activated system to control the room features is a bad experience, the air-conditioner seems to do what it likes. The breakfast service is very poor, it seems very under staffed and the coffee machine constantly had issues. suggest only to visit in quiet times. 这座建筑本身既现代又简单。使用语音激活系统来控制房间功能是一种糟糕的体验，空调似乎想做什么就做什么。早餐服务很差，似乎人手不足，咖啡机也经常出问题。建议只在安静的时候参观。

Very satisfied with a stay experience, the front desk has a phone call in advance before check-in, inform the room type and parking location in advance, the hotel underground parking lot will be less in the afternoon, but you can park at the roadside hotel to pay, very safe ～ room facilities are also very new, intelligent small voice control, It is worth mentioning that in addition to Western Sichuan, there is a hotel with floor heating in Danling, Meishan, and it is very warm without air conditioning. The young lady at the front desk is also very beautiful, gentle and considerate, the breakfast is also rich and delicious, and the Danling special frozen taste is very good, it is recommended 👍

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

We brought the kids here for a two-day family hotel stay at the tail end of the summer holiday. Meishan is close to Chengdu, so many families drive here. Check-in usually starts at 3 PM, and ours was smooth and efficient. They gave us a brief overview of the hotel's facilities, and we could book package activities instantly by scanning a QR code at the front desk. After getting our wristbands, we went straight to the indoor water park with the kids. It's well-managed; there's a registration process and equipment rental. There were at least two safety officers by the pool. If you didn't bring a swim ring, armbands were available, allowing parents to relax poolside without worries. Besides the indoor water park, there's also an outdoor pool specifically for children, so you can switch between them. In addition to the pools, the hotel also has an indoor mini-soccer field, basketball court, badminton court, and a series of table games like billiards, shuffleboard, and foosball. Some game facilities require an extra fee. There's also a kids' club for preschoolers, allowing children to seamlessly transition between various activities and burn off endless energy. In the evenings, there are various activities, and the kids absolutely loved the bingo game! The package we bought included a kids' daycare service, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Kids can be left with the hotel, with lunch provided, and hotel staff lead them through various activities, including sports, arts education, and nature exploration. For parents, this daycare service is incredibly valuable. For meals, you can choose à la carte, buffet, or even Zhu Guangyu Hotpot. There's a noodle bar. We ordered fried chicken snacks for a late-night bite, and they were quite good. In the evening, there are performers singing in the restaurant, which creates a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend the croissants for breakfast – super delicious! After breakfast, you can feed sika deer directly from the terrace next to the restaurant, adding another unique experience. On our second day, there was an issue with our room's equipment. Considering the repair would take too long, Hannah from guest relations promptly stepped in and helped us quickly change rooms. She also coordinated with colleagues from the front office and concierge to help us switch key cards and move our luggage. A huge thank you to her! Hannah also sent out daily updates on the hotel's activities, ensuring we didn't miss anything. On the way home after checking out, the kids were already saying they want to come back next summer. Haha, it clearly got a big thumbs-up from them!

Choose this hotel for the exam, the overall experience is very good! The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, and the service is super intimate. Although there was a little episode before check-in, the sisters of the staff were patient and properly solved. Not only did I send me to the examination room, but also specially sent me dinner, which made people feel at ease and highly recommended!

The bedding met InterContinental's usual high standards, though some furniture showed slight wear (e.g., a lightly scuffed sofa). The family room with its small tent and children's amenities was a thoughtful touch, but the soundproofing was a bit weak, as footsteps from the corridor could be heard. The front desk service was efficient, completing check-in in just 10 minutes and proactively upgrading us to a lake view room. Housekeeping was responsive, and the turndown service was meticulous (they even posed our child's doll). The buffet breakfast at the Lobby Tree Western Restaurant offered a wide variety of options, including local specialty fish hotpot. Leisure facilities included activities like Baduanjin, rice paddy fishing, and stretching yoga. The over 2000㎡ water park was a highlight, with its thoughtful heated children's slides, though the water temperature in some of the massage pools was inconsistent.
