We took a one-night break on the way to New York. The hotel is near Highway 87 and Albany Airport, but it is quite far away and not noisy. There are some fast food restaurants and a restaurant bar nearby. The hotel is of domestic business four-star standard, such as Holiday Inn Express and Hampton by Hilton. The room is clean and the double beds are two 1.5-meter beds, which are quite convenient for bringing children. It is a good choice for a one-night stopover!
While the facility is good and the room is clean, the front desk service was disappointing. Derek was rude and did not demonstrate basic hospitality—there was no “thank you,” no courtesy, or any polite communication. His attitude was especially noticeable at checkout.
At check-in, I requested a room facing the parking lot if possible. I understand that requests cannot always be accommodated, and that is fine. However, there was no explanation when the room key was given, which led to confusion and disappointment.
Overall, the checkout experience was even worse than check-in.
The room is quite big, you can get a shuttle to the airport, you can order takeout, it's very close to the airport, there's a small square nearby where you can meet up for dinner, generally it's OK, didn't try breakfast
