Beach Hotels in Barcelonès

The hotel has a very convenient location: just around the corner from a bus stop, a 5-minute walk to the metro station, and a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. Right on the street next to the hotel, there is a supermarket, plenty of cafes, and small restaurants with quite reasonable prices for Barcelona. You can walk to the Sagrada Família in 40 minutes, or take the metro which takes about 25 minutes, though I preferred walking everywhere. Safety was important for me as a solo traveler, and I felt quite comfortable and at ease in this neighborhood. The room was fantastic, very spacious, and equipped with all amenities: a hair dryer, TV, air conditioning, safe, large wardrobe, refrigerator, bedside sockets, a desk with cups and tea, an electric kettle, shower gel, and shampoo. Toothpaste and toothbrushes were available upon request. The bathroom was also very spacious, and my room had a sea view from the window. Bottled water was placed in the fridge every day. Breakfast was top-notch: a huge selection of cheeses, cold cuts, ham, fruits, vegetables, yogurts, juices, tortilla, and insanely delicious desserts. If you are wondering whether it's worth booking breakfast, it definitely is. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and everything was very clean and tidy. The hotel also features a cool swimming pool with a sea view 💔 The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist at any time. I would definitely stay at this hotel again; the convenient location, comfortable conditions, and service truly made my stay in Barcelona unforgettable.

The hygiene and service were both great, and the breakfast was good too. It's very close to the convention center, and there's a mall right next to it. Transportation is convenient, and the seaside is not far away.

Lovely hotel! Everywhere was really clean, the rooms were cleaned each day to a high standard with a bottle of fresh water each day. I even had lost a charm off my bracelet and the cleaner left it on the bed for me which was so sweet. Lovely location not far from a lovely beach, lots of shops & cafes around. Right near the metro station selva der mar which was amazing to see all of the sights! Pool area is small but really comfortable and again small and just what you need to dip in & cool off! Breakfast was lovely too nice lounge area and room was so comfy with a lovely big bathroom I would definitely stay here again. Just Wasn’t a fan of having £100 taken off me incase anything was wrong with the room luckily everything was fine but I had to wait 48 hours after my trip to receive a refund of this. Also got charged a lot of tax on check on which I forgot about!

The hotel charges upper end prices while some of the service people lack enough training. in particular one reception desk person with no ID tag has attitude problems. After you pay 250+ euros, the last thing you want is to be stopped at breakfast with the claim that you didn't pay for it. when you show the trip.com email receipt showing you paid for two breakfasts they say well that's a message in your phone, what counts is our records, and this happens in front of your guest which is damaging to you. Rolling eyes, sarcastic tone also are bonus. After me, i heard the same person showing similar attitude to a Chinese professor attending the same conference as me. I will not stay here again. Minor issues are lack of drinking water beyond first day and bo update of instant coffee bags. No slippers. For a hotel that charges 250+ euros, these should not be issues. I do not recommend.

Barcelona, as the first city of my Spain 🇪🇸 trip, far exceeded my expectations. It's clean, beautiful, orderly, vibrant, and modern! Choosing this hotel was a great decision too. The deluxe sea-view room was on a high floor, had excellent soundproofing, and a fantastic view. The hotel also provides drinking water 🚰 which is a huge plus. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll definitely stay here again!

I stayed for 9 nights, and perhaps because of the extra bed, the room felt a bit small. However, it's newly renovated and the location isn't right in the city center, but it's a 5-minute walk to the nearest metro or bus station. There's also a large shopping mall about a block away, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's not far from the beach either, just one bus stop away. The downside is that the housekeeping wasn't always up to par; every day, they either forgot to replace towels or didn't restock tissues, among other issues. However, the good thing is that they addressed these problems immediately once we communicated them.

Honestly, this place is a gem! Room 405 has the best panoramic views of the city/harbour and a beautiful terrace area on the roof for sunbathing. The staff were super lovely and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Ladies at breakfast were friendly and welcoming, the food was a good selection, however the hot food items sadly weren't hot (think cold bacon slices, warm eggs, warm beans) just about warm nothing more which by the time you've buttered your toast and started to eat its all cold. The room was super clean and comfy, room service was excellent, I requested more pillows and they arrived at my room within minutes. The hotel is centrally located for the city/harbour and for all the sightseeing. Beds are too hard for me but that's personal preference. I would definitely come back here again.

The rooms, although small, have everything you need. Including toothbrush and toothpaste. Even the rooms facing the garden have a partial view of the sea. Although 4 stars, there are still some improvements to be made, but I am convinced that it will be done.

The reception crowd is very cool, the cleaning was daily fair, showers and toilets always clean, comfortable beds and lockers very large, very functional kitchen area and integrated with the lounge, which facilitates socialization. The Rosana of cleaning is very capricious, hard-working, kept the kitchen always clean. She was very nice and attentive. I've worked hard on hostels, I only have a few suggestions: readable identification of the kitchen space, because you cannot know what you have or what you can use; A drinking water filter for guests, besides being very useful and guests would like it very much, would greatly reduce the amount of garbage in the rooms, which are largely water bottles, in addition to helping nature; Improve the stability of the Internet, as it has not worked at numerous times; and Maybe change the order of the Lockers of the people who sleep in the bed from above, placing it in the direction of the staircase, because the guest would have more freedom to use their space without hindering or bothering the other. Frizando, these are suggestions for improvement, they are not complaints. My stay was great and I highly recommend it.

This is my second time at W Barcelona. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so it wasn't too crowded. Both times, checking in took a long time. I paid to upgrade to a king room with a view at the front desk, which came out to about 5000 a night, but honestly, it felt pretty average. There are no shops or Chinese restaurants nearby, and ordering delivery takes forever. The bar on the 2nd floor closes quite early; we barely had any time to relax before it shut down. Breakfast was good and tasty, but the staff were so busy that getting our coffee took ages.
