The design pays homage to the area’s rich history as a prominent oyster port, and leans on natural materials, layered textures, and vintage objects to deliver a clean and modern aesthetic, creating a beautiful tension between the old, and the new.We are on a tree-lined residential historic block, 2 minutes from the Quinnipiac River (not the beach). There are opportunities to Kayak, sail, cycle, bird watch, jog, fish, or for lunch. The Pearl is huge and has charmingly imperfect hardwood floors. We have a real claw-foot tub, but you are welcome to take a shower instead. And do expect some lavender, as we have a huge plant outside.We offer breakfast and dinner for a fee, please ask during booking.
