When you enter the front door of the home, you'll be greeted by the bright and cheery living room and fireplace sitting area. The sofa contains a queen size hide-a-bed with extra linens stored inside the coffee table. The smart TV allows guests to stream any accounts that they enjoy at home. From the living room, you can keep left to the first bedroom with queen bed and 2 nightstands with reading lights, dresser, closet and walk-thru door to the hallway with common space bathroom and kitchen. Past the common bathroom, you will find the second bedroom. This room is complete with queen bed, nightstands (no reading lights), full dresser with mirror and walk-in closet. Through the living room, and past the sofa, you'll enter the formal dining room and then galley kitchen. The kitchen comes equipped with oven, microwave, automatic drip coffee machine, cookware, dishes, drinking glasses, coffee mugs and wine glasses. We provide basic spices (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, steak seasoning, cinnamon, ranch powder) and oils, including olive oil, sugar, and flour. (Spices may change without notice, as use and spills can happen. We'll do our best to keep them well-stocked for your stay.) Through the kitchen, you can go out the back door and to the front door of the ADU OR you can go downstairs where you'll find the third bedroom with double bed, nightstands with reading lights, and en-suite half bath containing toilet, sink, tile walk-in shower and small vanity mirror. Past the bedroom lies the entertainment room with large TV and movable beanbags and blankets for guests' enjoyment. Outside the back door, located in the kitchen, you'll find a set of stairs and another door with smartlock. This door with smart lock is the front door to the ADU. We only rent the ADU to guests who book the large home. If you plan to use the ADU, please let us know at the time of booking. Inside the ADU, you'll discover a self-sufficient apartment suite! Complete with bedroom, including comfy queen bed, night stand with reading lights, alarm clock, wardrobe closet. The stacked laundry set is located in a second closet inside the bedroom. The detached garage is not for guest use. We do have a recording device on the outside of the home for safety and security. We respect guest privacy and only look at the cameras if an issue arises during or after your stay. No cameras are mounted in, nor do they face/record any private, guest-only areas. Please inquire if you'd like to confirm the availability of A/C during your stay. We do require guests to e-sign a vacation rental agreement for stays of any length prior to check in. This is an incredible, older home with quirks about which prospective guests should be aware. With the exception of the bathroom, it features all-original wooden windows. One window in the primary bedroom is currently painted shut. All other non-picture windows do open, providing lots of opportunity for fresh air, but should not be forced open/shut if they stick. If you encounter problems, please let us know. Another attribute of this home is its stone foundation. A de-humidifier is connected to run full-time and ensure this is a pleasant space to work out in or to do laundry. We do provide laundry detergent for your use. Neighbors on both sides have pets and, therefore, the animals may cause some noise now and then. Please be aware of barking. This is a hugely pet-friendly neighborhood. Neighbors on both sides have dogs and the potential for barking exists. It is also a wildlife corridor—you may see deer, turkeys, or other creatures during your stay! We charge $20 per night for the first pet, and $15 per night for additional pets Pet fees are nonrefundable and will be requested through the resolution center after the reservation is confirmed and prior to your stay. Pet fees must be paid prior to check in or your door code will not function at the time of check in. The backyard is large and private, with plenty of room for play, hanging out, and relaxing. During your stay, there may be an ever-evolving green space that is intentionally left “wild”-- including native plants and wild flowers. We hope you'll consider this wildlife section of the land intentional and worthy of viewing and respecting, and not a forgotten section of our yard maintenance. While most reservations go through without a hitch, we understand that sometimes things happen. This is the one. That “heck yeah” house with the hot tub, theater room, fire pit, and serious vibe. Perfect for a couple’s escape, squad trip, or a weekend that hits different. Two living areas, wide-open layout, and cozy touches make it easy to relax, connect, and recharge. Sip cocktails, stream your favorites, or unwind under the stars. Book it before someone else does—seriously. There are about 7 stairs leading to the front of the house, 3 of which are at the sidewalk by the street and 4 more at the front door. You'll enter the front door of the home to the living room, which is seamless to the dining room and kitchen. The two bedrooms and bathroom are just off the living room, with queen beds and extra pillows and blankets in each bedroom. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking spices, cookware, knives, silverware and dishes and cups for eating meals. Off the dining room, there is a staircase that leads downstairs. Once you get to the bottom of the stairs, you'll enter the expansive theater room. Here, you'll find a 75-inch HDTV and surround sound with streaming apps downloaded so you can watch your favorite shows. (We do not provide DVD's or cable at this time.) By the staircase, you'll find the bathroom and utility room. Past the sectional, you'll find the third bedroom with queen bed, more fluffy pillows and throw blankets and a walk-in closet. Back upstairs to the kitchen, you'll exit via the sliding door to a generously-sized covered porch leading to the hot tub. Please make sure all of your guests know the hot tub rules. Don't worry about putting pool chemicals into the pool. We have a service that takes care of that for us. Pets are allowed but are not allowed on any furniture. We do charge a $20 non-refundable pet fee per night for first pet. Additional pets are $15 per night. Pet fees are nonrefundable and will be requested through the resolution center after the reservation is confirmed and prior to your stay. Pet fees must be paid prior to check in or your door code will not function at the time of check in. We provide check in instructions, including the address, WiFi, door code, pertinent info about the home, and a link to our Welcome Book 48 hours prior to check in. Hot tub awning fell in a recent snow storm and damaged outdoor furniture. It was unable to be rebuilt due to building code, so the back deck and hot tub are not covered space. Outdoor table and chairs have been replaced, though. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do have recording devices on the outside of the home, front and back, for safety and security. These cameras do record video and sound, but we respect guest privacy so we only look at the cameras if an issue arises during or after your stay. The front camera is an overhead camera at the front door and faces the street. The back camera is on the house facing the alley. No cameras are mounted in, nor do they face/record any private, guest-only areas. We do have a home security system, but do not arm it (in the kitchen.) The code is not provided to guests and it is monitored, so if you arm it and then open a door, the police will respond. We do require guests to e-sign a vacation rental agreement for stays of any length prior to check in. We request guests fill out a check-in form so that we can best prepare for your stay.
