We had a very good stay at KOKO HOTEL and one of the things we liked most was its excellent and convenient location.
The hotel is very accessible from Nishi-Kasai Station. From the station, you simply exit (South exit), walk straight, and turn left at the first corner. The hotel is just about 2-minute walk. It was very convenient for us. Another thing we really appreciated was the free coffee and tea available at the lobby. It was a simple but very nice perk, especially after a long day of sightseeing.
The location was also convenient for going to the airport. Nishi-Kasai is just one station away from Kasai Station, where you can take the airport bus, making it easier to travel to Narita Airport.
Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Excellent location, 10min away from Tokyo station, 6 min away from Kyobashi station. Great for people who rely on subway. Room is very small, the bed is a small semi double. The bathroom is small as well but fit people. Cleaning is available as requested. A wide range of amenities, as well as water dispenser, ice machine, vending machine, and laundry-dryer available. Note that the laundry is often occupied by guests.

My stay at KoKo Hotel Shinjuku Yotsuya was excellent! The room was spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's location is superb, just a 3-minute walk to the subway station, allowing for efficient travel to Shinjuku and other parts of Tokyo. Downstairs, along the street, there are plenty of ramen shops, izakayas, and casual eateries, offering a wide variety of dining options for all three meals. A convenience store is also very close by, making it easy to get around and find food. It's definitely my top choice for a trip to Tokyo.

The twin room met our expectations. We had a great experience at a hotel of the same name in Sapporo, so we decided to stay here again, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The location is absolutely fantastic; the Toei Shinjuku Line is just a few steps away, making it easy to get anywhere. The hotel itself is quiet and comfortable, with all the services you could need. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Tokyo.

My overall stay was very good. The hotel's location is super convenient, close to Korakuen and Suidobashi, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making both getting around and dining very easy.

The room itself was clean and tidy. While not particularly spacious, it was well-designed, and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay were available. The staff were also very friendly; check-in and check-out were smooth.

Considering its central Tokyo location, the overall value for money is good. It's an excellent choice whether you're visiting Tokyo for tourism, attending a game, or activities around Tokyo Dome. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

This is my second time to stay in Kolo Hotel (or known as Hotel Wing), the quality is good as always. This hotel near Akabane Station which is a place I think is more quiet than places like Shibuya or Shinjuku etc but restaurants nearby has few options and the Don Quijote is smaller than usual. Prices are affordable for econ trip.

The staff at the front desk are also well trained, fluent in English / Japanese. The staff held the elevator for me one day and he’s good at having a conversation with guest.

I saw some review complains about the noise from other room. I can tell that didn’t happen during my stay for almost a week, maybe I’ll recommend to stay at higher floor if possible.

If you bought too much things in Japan, you can feel free to visit the post office nearby the hotel (~8 mins of walking), it’s efficient to send things to your home but you may expect to use translate with them if you can’t speak Japanese.

The location is excellent, right outside the station with access to the Yamanote, Ginza, and Hibiya lines. (It's also very convenient for Haneda Airport via the Keikyu line to the Yamanote line). Across the street is a food street with Japanese cuisine like yakitori and ramen, plus convenience stores and drugstores. It's incredibly convenient. The room was a bit small, but that's common for many hotels in Japan, so I can't really complain. Overall, the value for money is super high! I'd choose this hotel again next time.

I would recommend this hotel 100%! The rooms are very clean, the AC works really well, and the noise cancellation is great, so it’s easy to get a good night’s sleep. The staff are available 24/7 and are always very nice and helpful. There are also plenty of convenient amenities right outside the elevator, so everything you need is easily accessible. Close to the cinema and station. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay!

Great Location: The hotel is conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station's East Exit, close to Sunshine City. It's surrounded by numerous shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, making it incredibly easy to get around and go shopping.

Well-equipped Facilities: The hotel offers services like free WiFi and luggage storage. There's a 24-hour lounge on the first floor providing complimentary drinks and even manga for guests to read. Some rooms are also equipped with amenities like refrigerators and TVs.

Clean and Comfortable Rooms: Both the guest rooms and common areas are kept quite clean, and the bedding is comfortable. While the room sizes are generally small, the layout is well-planned and meets basic accommodation needs.

I would like to express my appreciation to one of the front desk officers who helped me on 3 June. He was a gentleman who could speak Chinese, but unfortunately I did not get his name.

Due to the typhoon in Tokyo, there was heavy rain and strong wind. We were worried about how to get to the airport for our flight back to Singapore, especially because we had a family member using a wheelchair.

At first, he told us that taxis were fully booked until 4:00 PM. However, after I explained that we had a wheelchair user with us, he kindly helped to call a taxi and managed to get one for us.

The night before, another staff member had informed us that the hotel could not help book a taxi because of the typhoon. That is why we were very grateful when this gentleman went the extra mile to help us.

His kindness and willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier for us. Please pass on our thanks to him. If management can identify him, I hope he receives recognition for his excellent service.

Thank you very much.

Facilities: Decent, the bed was quite large, and there were plenty of charging outlets.
Cleanliness: Acceptable.
Environment: Very close to Nihonbashi Exit 2, which is its biggest advantage. There are many shopping options in Sennichimae and tons of dining and entertainment spots in Dotonbori.
Service: The front desk staff had excellent English proficiency.

This hotel in Osaka was a very pleasant surprise. The price was unbelievably cheap, and the location is superb, right behind Daimaru department store in Shinsaibashi. You can walk everywhere for shopping. The exterior is a striking castle-like building, and the lobby inside is very luxurious. Although the hotel isn't new, the rooms are large and clean. It's the most spacious hotel room I've stayed in Japan, making it incredibly comfortable.

The location was excellent! It was right on the edge of a great tourist section that had many food choices & also close to a beautiful park with walking paths & a museum & zoo & the famour tower! It was also easy to find from the train/subway- we only had to walk a few minutes/blocks from the exit of the train/subway to the hotel. The breakfast had many Japanese choices & great juice & the dining area with free water & hot chocolate/coffee was open throughout the day. We used the laundry (washing machine & dryer) which were coin operated & located on the main floor by the elevators. There were also free amenities if needed (toothbrushes etc...) on the main floor which we didn't realize until the end of our stay. The room was spacious & the bathroom toilet even had a bidet & heated toilet seat!!! The only downside was that the pj's provided were stiff & not very comfortable, but I have my own pjs so it wasn't a problem. Definitely would stay here again!

It's a few hundred meters from the subway station, which is pretty close and convenient. Good value for money. Each floor seems to have a self-service washing machine. The front desk is on the second floor and offers free luggage storage. Overall, it's pretty good, and the room is clean and tidy. In Japan, rooms are usually cleaned every three days.

Location: 7/10* see note below
Amenities 9/10 (They close it in the day?) DHC 4-step facial care! Dental kit, cotton pads/buds, body towel, mouthwash, body sponge, comb, razor, 'Odashi sachet, tea
Spaciousness: 8/10 for the price point of a twin room, thus more than spacious enough for 1, got desk and writing equipment, TV.
Room cleanliness: 9.5/10 Only tiny amount of dust on table/remotes, no stains on the walls / furniture (Also, surprisingly the cleanest hotel I've stayed in throughout 2.5 weeks in Japan, across 8 hotels, including Roku Kyoto)
Bed: 6.5/10 Old springy kind
Toilet: 8/10 Surprisingly spacious and did not compromise on the bathtub
Quilt/blanket? 8/10 soft n heat retention good
Positives:
++Hotel staff was very kind to help with Yamato luggage forwarding procedures & calling the receiving side for confirmation(info didn't match n got stuck on phone for 30mins)
++Room cleanliness superb (no spots found with UV)
++Got one-piece PJs, easy to wear, legs a bit cold tho, recommended to wear your own socks to sleep
++Humidifier available in room (very important during winter/spring!) ownself topup for hygiene purpose
++Love that the toilet size had piority despite the small room! It was even bigger than my Nagoya's hotel, can stretch legs a bit more in this tub
++Toilet got constantly heated seats!!!!
++Bathtub has armrest
++Electronics street right round the corner, e-earphones!
Cons:
-- No bath salts
-- Some smoke smell lingering in lift / corridors due to smoking room @ first floor?
-- *DO NOT try to walk from the major Namba station from KIX in freezing winds n maze w luggage. The location from Namba subway is madness if you have luggage. Only try to bring your luggage from Ebisu station instead! (But was a good walk w shops and food everywhere)
Overall: 10/10 for this price point!

The hotel's location is pretty good: it's about a 5-minute walk from Shijo Subway Station, Exit 6, though you do have to cross a traffic light. There's also a gas station right next to the hotel!

If you're a woman with heavy luggage, I wouldn't really recommend it! There's no elevator at the Shijo Station exit, so you'll have to carry your luggage up quite a few stairs.

Room: It was quite spacious, even bigger than I expected. There was enough room to open up a large suitcase.

Environment: The only downside was a slight smell in the bathroom! It seemed to be a drain odor, which can't really be helped. But it was still tolerable, I suppose! Depends on the person...

On the 4th floor, there's a microwave, an ice machine, and vending machines! Very convenient!

Service: Self-service toiletries are available to the right of the front desk on the first floor.

Choosing this hotel for my Kyoto trip was a brilliant decision! The overall ambiance is elegant and thoughtful, but I especially want to rave about the self-service drink machine in the lobby – it was such a delightful little bonus during my travels. The machine itself is sleek and blends perfectly with the hotel's style. The drink selection is incredibly diverse, from ice-cold sodas to warm beverages, and the cooling works really well. Coming back after a long day of sightseeing and grabbing a refreshing drink was incredibly therapeutic. Operating it was super easy with a quick QR code scan, fast recognition, and instant dispensing after payment. Being able to grab a drink 24/7 was a lifesaver; no more having to trek far just for a late-night beverage.

Excellent service, cleanliness, room and bathroom size. Great complimentary cofee and drinks. Greatly recommended, I will be back when possible.

An unexpected gem, absolutely loved this hotel! I'll definitely be back for a second stay!

Facilities: As a newly opened hotel, all amenities are state-of-the-art.

Cleanliness: Extremely clean.

Service: The front desk staff were incredibly polite! Daily housekeeping was excellent, and they were always quick to provide any requested items, unlike some other hotels that can be stingy.

Ambiance: Has a very Japanese feel, complete with a hot spring bath (onsen)! It’s tidy, orderly, and hygienic.

Location: Tucked away in a quiet spot but close to everything. Within a few minutes' walk, you'll find large shopping malls and attractions. Taxis, buses, light rail, and subway stations are all within a 10-minute reach. The location is superb and super convenient!

I absolutely must come back again next time!!!

I really pat myself on the back for finding such a spacious, well-located, top-service, and incredibly high-value accommodation in Kyoto! Perfect for a family trip. We could have breakfast in the room in the mornings and even cook late-night snacks. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, which was great for avoiding traffic jams. The front desk even provides coffee and snacks. I absolutely loved it here! Highly recommend!
