MM480892****This stay was fantastic and I highly recommend it to everyone! Our host, Minsu, was very welcoming and personally picked us up at the Ginkgo intersection. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was decorated in a simple and sophisticated style, very clean, and comfortable. Their large, high-definition TV was perfect for watching a movie in bed after a bath. The location is also great; Ginkgo King is just a five-minute walk away. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

RRosaMaryThe ancient town of Heshun is absolutely gorgeous, and we stayed at Leyin Inn, which has received zero negative reviews.
Leyin Inn has a superb location, right next to the Wanlouzi Residents' Museum, and right next to Hua Jie's Private Kitchen (opposite Hua Jie's is a small, unassuming shop run by elderly folks serving incredibly delicious home-style dishes). The innkeeper sent someone to pick us up and take us into the ancient town for free. After we bought tickets with our ID cards (valid for seven days, which was a great deal since I bought my boat tickets at the same time), they drove us all the way to the hotel parking lot. Keep in mind that Heshun Ancient Town has many ups and downs, and the ground is paved with bricks, making it difficult to push luggage around. The innkeeper kindly helped us with our luggage.
We booked a private hot spring room, which was great value for money. The original hot spring water from Rehai was brought over, and we told the innkeeper they would come and fill it with water.
Our child and the other children staying at the inn had a great time. We only booked one night, and they even gave us a free ride to the bus station. The service was truly excellent. We'll definitely stay at Leyin Inn again next time we visit Heshun Ancient Town.

DD8503****The best, newest, most romantic, and most cost-effective guesthouse in the ancient town. The landlady is beautiful and welcoming, offering free airport pick-up and drop-off and luggage assistance. The place is clean and tidy, with elegant decor. The auntie's breakfast is delicious 😋 The rice noodles made with pork bone broth are a must-have every day before going out. The family suite with two large balconies is simply romantic. The quiet environment ensures a good night's sleep. The guesthouse is very close to Shuanghong Bridge and the library in the center of the ancient town. The local restaurant recommended by the landlady is also excellent. I will definitely stay at Nuan Gui Guesthouse again with my family next time.

11521015****The location is fantastic, very close to all the city attractions, and it's super convenient for taxis and food delivery. Since it's located inside a villa complex, it's also very quiet at night. We came with elders and kids and booked a family room on the ground floor with a yard. We could sunbathe in the yard in the afternoon, and there was even a osmanthus tree that was still blooming in December – it smelled amazing!
The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering recommendations for attractions and dining spots, and even paying attention to the kids' needs, which was really great. On our departure day, our flight was quite early, and we were worried about missing breakfast. The owner specifically asked the cook to prepare breakfast earlier for us so we could have a hot meal before heading to the airport. We couldn't book a hot spring room this time, but we'll definitely try it on our next visit!

MM40322****It was a very satisfying stay. Standing on the inn's large terrace, I could see mist-shrouded green mountains in the distance, and the tranquil and picturesque town of Tengchong below. The view was expansive, birds chirping, and I could sit quietly for most of the day. In the evening, I could enjoy a romantic candlelit hot spring bath on the balcony, which was truly relaxing. The room was spacious and clean, with elegant and warm decor. The Xiaodu smart phone added a lot of fun. The breakfast was very rich, with side dishes, various breakfast items, local rice noodles, and coffee. The hostess and the waitress were very welcoming. The black cat, Sheriff, was particularly majestic and charming, and was fun to play with and interact with.

I forgot my hat in the ancient town store after breakfast. I remembered it during the tour and called Xiaocha to help me go to the store to check if it was still there. It was raining heavily in the ancient town that day. Xiaocha didn’t hesitate and quickly took the hat back to the hotel. It was very surprising. move. The hotel's breakfast is relatively clean and has local characteristics. It will be arranged in advance if you go out early. Take a hot spring bath every night and sleep comfortably. marvelous!

AAnonymous UserWhen I checked in on the first day, an old man told the front desk that he was dissatisfied. At that time, I was thinking that something was wrong. As a result, the next few days of my stay made me feel that the old man was quite good-tempered. I stayed for a total of 4 nights, and reported hygiene issues on 2 consecutive nights. As shown in the picture, the disposable slippers provided were dirty, there were flies in the room, and the dining knives provided in the room had obvious traces of not being cleaned. More Not to mention how dirty the bathtub was before I had time to take a photo.
Overall, there is basically no service for breakfast. I went there for 3 mornings. Only on the last morning, there was a waiter at the door asking for the room number. The other two mornings, there was nothing. The breakfast area was only 40 square meters. The breakfast provided was compared to other breakfasts. The hotel can be said to be at the level of a high-end express hotel. No one asked me if I wanted coffee or tea, and there were no napkins on the table.
There were some other, continuous, and very low-level unpleasant experiences along the way. Fortunately, the front desk manager Xie Weishan responded promptly. I am very grateful. However, the experience was far inferior to the experience I had when I stayed at the ancient town B&B the previous two nights. In short, I will not stay at the Banyan Tree again next time. its hotels.
