YYoo agWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner and his wife are extremely kind and welcoming. They brought us to many beautiful places and spent time showing us around and even playing with us, which made our trip very special.
The hotel offers great value with a high standard. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
One of the most special things about this place is the onsen (hot spring). The water comes from a real natural hot spring, which makes the experience very authentic and relaxing.
We truly appreciate the warm hospitality from the owner and his wife. They even promised to come visit us in the future, which shows how genuine and friendly they are. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality stay with wonderful hosts and a real hot spring experience.

Pros: Located halfway up a mountain, offering panoramic views of Tengchong; parking available; convenient location; food delivery services are readily available. The owner was incredibly kind, upgrading our room and thoughtfully providing flowers, fruit, and a cake for Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day), making our wedding anniversary truly unforgettable. Breakfast was delicious and varied, offering both Chinese and Western options, including Tengchong's must-try Ersi (rice noodles). The hotel's facilities and design were excellent. I especially enjoyed lying on the balcony, gazing at the city and the clouds – so relaxing. Especially with the recent rains making many attractions inconvenient, I couldn't think of a better choice than relaxing in the hotel, soaking in the hot springs, and enjoying the scenery. Even better, I didn't have to squeeze into the hot springs with other guests.
Cons: There's no elevator, so climbing is a bit tiring, but the staff kindly helped carry our luggage upstairs. Also, the room has recessed steps, so some careless people need to be careful.
Thank you to the owners for their hospitality, which made our trip to Tengchong even more wonderful. It was a perfect experience, and I would love to come back in winter if I have the time; it would be even more perfect then.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, very close to all the city attractions, and it's super convenient for taxis and food delivery. Since it's located inside a villa complex, it's also very quiet at night. We came with elders and kids and booked a family room on the ground floor with a yard. We could sunbathe in the yard in the afternoon, and there was even a osmanthus tree that was still blooming in December – it smelled amazing!
The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering recommendations for attractions and dining spots, and even paying attention to the kids' needs, which was really great. On our departure day, our flight was quite early, and we were worried about missing breakfast. The owner specifically asked the cook to prepare breakfast earlier for us so we could have a hot meal before heading to the airport. We couldn't book a hot spring room this time, but we'll definitely try it on our next visit!

3300389****The hotel's romantic name truly matches its beautiful scenery. The second-floor terrace offers expansive views, with endless picturesque countryside stretching out before you. Although located on a hill, it's very convenient to reach all the attractions in the ancient town.
What truly deserves praise is the hotel's pick-up and drop-off service (many hotels only offer one or the other). Before check-in, they contacted me via WeChat to arrange pick-up. After checking in, they thoroughly explained the ancient town's routes and recommended local delicacies. Upon departure, a dedicated car took me to my destination.
The room was neat, clean, bright, and hygienic, and the service attitude was excellent. Since I was on the second floor, they personally helped me with my luggage and carefully reminded me about the stairs, making me truly feel at home. Although I only stayed for one night, I experienced the harmonious essence of Heshun. Haha, I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

GGoh Yai HengThe pick up service was-very good. The driver Xiao Mao was very friendly to give me a lot of information about the city on the way to the hotel. All the staffs at the front desk were very helpful too.I liked very much the breakfast but it was a-pity that the hotel did not serve dinner.lt caused me problem to search restaurant for food especially during raining nights. As the road in front the hotel was under construction, it made me to walk in the muddy path. I loved and appreciated the good services provided by the hotel, and the sweet fungi soup served at about 8:30pm every night was really enjoyable. As l am 80 years old now, l may not have chance to visit again but l will surely recommend the hotel to my friends if they come to Tengchong next time.

I was a little apprehensive after seeing a review that gave the hotel low ratings for its facilities. But after staying there, I must clear up my doubts – it was a complete ”misunderstanding”! The experience was absolutely fantastic!
Our room was fully equipped with everything you could need: a dry sauna, a private hot tub, a dehumidifier, and underfloor heating. Everything was brand new and high-end. Let me focus on the ”misunderstood” dry sauna: Upon check-in, the butler mentioned that some guests had complained about the sauna being too cold and asked me to try it and provide feedback. Could that be true? They patiently demonstrated how to use it. The key is that after heating it for a few minutes, you need to gently pour water onto the volcanic rocks on the stove using a wooden ladle – with a ”hiss,” a wave of heat instantly rises, raising the room temperature to 70-80 degrees Celsius within minutes, making you sweat incredibly well and comfortably. I suspect the previous guests might have missed this crucial step.
The room's details were very thoughtfully designed. For example, the dehumidifier quickly dried the air after steaming, and the private hot tub was always ready for use with a stable temperature. The public areas were also stylishly designed; both the reading room and tea room offered instant relaxation.
This stay made me realize that a good hotel not only needs top-notch facilities but also patient and attentive service. Thanks to the butler's thoughtful introductions, we didn't miss a single wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality; you won't be disappointed!

**Value for Money:** Excellent. Considering Tengchong is a tourist city, 270 RMB a night for a standard room is a fantastic deal.
**Breakfast:** The dining area is spacious, the food selection is rich, and the taste is great.
**Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean and well-maintained.
**Parking:** The hotel has its own dedicated, on-site parking lot. It's incredibly convenient – simply drive in and out without any complicated procedures.
**Room View:** From my 8th-floor room, I had a great view of distant mountains and the city's streetscape at night.
**Location & Transportation:** The location is incredibly convenient. I even walked to a nearby farmer's market to buy fruit, with helpful directions from the staff.
**Service:** Absolutely superb. The staff proactively helped with our luggage, reminded us to take umbrellas when going out, and paid attention to many small details, which speaks volumes about the hotel's high management standards.
**Hot Spring Pool:** Guests can enjoy the hot spring pool on the 6th floor.
**Gym:** A gym is available for guests.
**Self-Service Laundry:** Additionally, there's a self-service laundry, which was very convenient.
I will definitely choose this hotel again for my future travels.

JJIAJIAStayed in the ancient town for four nights. The location of the homestay is very convenient next to the large parking lot in the ancient town. The bathroom has a drying hot air and floor heating. It is comfortable to use a dyson hair dryer, with a large bathtub, and dry and wet separation. The overall service of the homestay is particularly good. There is also a housekeeper to pick up the parking lot in the middle of the night. In the morning, there is an aunt who prepares to pack corn sweet potatoes and egg snacks for us in advance. The aunts are very friendly and dry our clothes and put them back in the room. The boss brother and Miss Sister are also very intimate to recommend a variety of food and hot springs (Lotus Hot Spring). The overall stay is very worry-free, five points praise 💗

GGuest UserThis hotel is nestled within a hot spring village, offering a beautiful environment that truly makes you feel close to nature. Tengchong isn't a very large area, so travel time from the hotel to various scenic spots won't exceed 30 minutes.
The private hot spring is set in a charming little courtyard, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The afternoon tea included in our room package required a reservation in advance, as they prepare a limited number of sets daily. If our schedule was tight and we missed the afternoon tea time, they were happy to deliver it to our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the service maintained the Banyan Tree standard. My only surprise was the lack of Christmas atmosphere in Tengchong; even a major international brand like Banyan Tree had no Christmas decorations or elements during the holiday season.
