Pros: Located halfway up a mountain, offering panoramic views of Tengchong; parking available; convenient location; food delivery services are readily available. The owner was incredibly kind, upgrading our room and thoughtfully providing flowers, fruit, and a cake for Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day), making our wedding anniversary truly unforgettable. Breakfast was delicious and varied, offering both Chinese and Western options, including Tengchong's must-try Ersi (rice noodles). The hotel's facilities and design were excellent. I especially enjoyed lying on the balcony, gazing at the city and the clouds â so relaxing. Especially with the recent rains making many attractions inconvenient, I couldn't think of a better choice than relaxing in the hotel, soaking in the hot springs, and enjoying the scenery. Even better, I didn't have to squeeze into the hot springs with other guests.
Cons: There's no elevator, so climbing is a bit tiring, but the staff kindly helped carry our luggage upstairs. Also, the room has recessed steps, so some careless people need to be careful.
Thank you to the owners for their hospitality, which made our trip to Tengchong even more wonderful. It was a perfect experience, and I would love to come back in winter if I have the time; it would be even more perfect then.

GGuest UserThe homestay was clean and comfortable, exactly as expected and consistent with the photos shown. The owner recommended local restaurants that are popular with residents, and the food was excellent. A special thumbs-up to the owner for helping us book a hot spring package at a discounted priceâit was great value for money. We also received a small farewell gift when we checked out, which was a nice touch.
However, the only negative experienceâand the biggest drawbackâwas the unstable hot water in the shower. In winter, the hot water suddenly turned cold halfway through a shower. Although the owner responded promptly and helped adjust the water pressure, the temperature later became unstable again, suddenly turning extremely hot and almost scalding. We hope this can be improved in the future to make the stay even more comfortable.

YYoo agWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner and his wife are extremely kind and welcoming. They brought us to many beautiful places and spent time showing us around and even playing with us, which made our trip very special.
The hotel offers great value with a high standard. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
One of the most special things about this place is the onsen (hot spring). The water comes from a real natural hot spring, which makes the experience very authentic and relaxing.
We truly appreciate the warm hospitality from the owner and his wife. They even promised to come visit us in the future, which shows how genuine and friendly they are. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality stay with wonderful hosts and a real hot spring experience.

GGuest UserDue to a temporary change in the itinerary, I arrived in Tengchong one day in advance. The hotel I booked before was not available. I saw this restaurant by chance and placed an order. I didn't expect that although I only stayed for one night, it really left a very good impression on myself and my family. The hotel design and environment layout are well designed. When I checked in, I upgraded the room type for free, and provided yogurt, fruit and snacks. The service staff was very warm and polite. When I checked out, the waiter Xiaoshuang also gave the children a small gift bag, which made the children very happy. In short, everything was very satisfactory.

XXjtudouThis trip was with my sister and niece! The guesthouse was conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, making it easy to get in and out! Because it was at the end of a small alley, the environment was quiet, conducive to rest! The host personally picked up and dropped off our luggage at the scenic area entrance! Breakfast was healthy and delicious every day! We ordered the rice noodles in soup every day! They were very responsive to guests' requests! Finally, I'd like to suggest they be a little more proactive in their service!

I was a little apprehensive after seeing a review that gave the hotel low ratings for its facilities. But after staying there, I must clear up my doubts â it was a complete âmisunderstandingâ! The experience was absolutely fantastic!
Our room was fully equipped with everything you could need: a dry sauna, a private hot tub, a dehumidifier, and underfloor heating. Everything was brand new and high-end. Let me focus on the âmisunderstoodâ dry sauna: Upon check-in, the butler mentioned that some guests had complained about the sauna being too cold and asked me to try it and provide feedback. Could that be true? They patiently demonstrated how to use it. The key is that after heating it for a few minutes, you need to gently pour water onto the volcanic rocks on the stove using a wooden ladle â with a âhiss,â a wave of heat instantly rises, raising the room temperature to 70-80 degrees Celsius within minutes, making you sweat incredibly well and comfortably. I suspect the previous guests might have missed this crucial step.
The room's details were very thoughtfully designed. For example, the dehumidifier quickly dried the air after steaming, and the private hot tub was always ready for use with a stable temperature. The public areas were also stylishly designed; both the reading room and tea room offered instant relaxation.
This stay made me realize that a good hotel not only needs top-notch facilities but also patient and attentive service. Thanks to the butler's thoughtful introductions, we didn't miss a single wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality; you won't be disappointed!

JJIAJIAStayed in the ancient town for four nights. The location of the homestay is very convenient next to the large parking lot in the ancient town. The bathroom has a drying hot air and floor heating. It is comfortable to use a dyson hair dryer, with a large bathtub, and dry and wet separation. The overall service of the homestay is particularly good. There is also a housekeeper to pick up the parking lot in the middle of the night. In the morning, there is an aunt who prepares to pack corn sweet potatoes and egg snacks for us in advance. The aunts are very friendly and dry our clothes and put them back in the room. The boss brother and Miss Sister are also very intimate to recommend a variety of food and hot springs (Lotus Hot Spring). The overall stay is very worry-free, five points praise đ

It's located on the edge of the ancient town, a bit far from the main area, so it's not recommended for elderly people with mobility issues. It's fine for young people, and you can even take a walk around Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs were okay, but perhaps because we went during the off-season, there were only two pools available, so the experience wasn't great when it was crowded. I highly recommend the nearby âMama's Tasteâ restaurant â it's incredibly delicious!

GGuest UserThis hotel is nestled within a hot spring village, offering a beautiful environment that truly makes you feel close to nature. Tengchong isn't a very large area, so travel time from the hotel to various scenic spots won't exceed 30 minutes.
The private hot spring is set in a charming little courtyard, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The afternoon tea included in our room package required a reservation in advance, as they prepare a limited number of sets daily. If our schedule was tight and we missed the afternoon tea time, they were happy to deliver it to our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the service maintained the Banyan Tree standard. My only surprise was the lack of Christmas atmosphere in Tengchong; even a major international brand like Banyan Tree had no Christmas decorations or elements during the holiday season.
