Donghai Hotels with Breakfast

Newly opened, new equipment. The most praiseworthy thing is that the front desk lady is super warm and loves to laugh. Several children say that they are really happy to go to work, and give the front desk lady a big praise.

Excellent value for money. Small cities, small counties are good quality and cheap. The overall environment is very small children have many cartoons. The only problem is that there is an elevator. In addition, there is no good environment in the view. Mainly on the road. There is no fruit shop downstairs, but there is a supermarket. If you park, you can barely have a place. The waiters are more enthusiastic. This is not bad. The room facilities are very new and the bathroom is very large.

The room was clean and tidy. Takeout could be delivered to the room door by a robot. There was free parking and charging stations in the courtyard. Both the front desk and room service staff were friendly and helpful. The room was soundproof, and the air conditioning started heating up in about 7-8 minutes. The breakfast was plentiful and all dishes had a keep-warm setting, so you didn't have to worry about the food getting cold. It was also very convenient to walk to the high-speed rail station. Overall, a very good experience.

The service was so bad it didn't feel like a chain restaurant. They tried to get a membership card as soon as I walked in, saying there would be a discount for extended stays, but in the end it wasn't even as cheap as booking online. They just bundled up my laundry and put it in a bag; it was wrinkled when I took it out. The front desk said they were out of large cups of coffee and had to split it into two cups, one for me and one for her.

This time, staying at Furu Donghai Hotel really surprised me! From the moment I entered the door, I could feel the hotel's care: the front desk lady had a super sweet smile, and the porter led us to the room after checking in quickly. He introduced the opening hours of the hot spring and the characteristics of the restaurant in detail, and was as friendly as a friend~ The room was more spacious than expected, and the mattress was moderately soft and hard. I felt relaxed as soon as I lay down. The hot spring was also very comfortable. My skin was smooth after the bath. The waiter would smile and greet me every time he met me. This feeling of ”being remembered” was so warm! I thought it was just an ordinary vacation, but I didn't expect that everything from hardware to service exceeded my expectations, and it was completely worthy of the five-star standard. I have recommended it to my girlfriends, and I will definitely visit it again when I come to Donghai County to take a hot spring bath next month!

This stay experience really exceeded expectations! From the beginning of stepping into the hotel lobby, you can feel the enthusiasm of the staff. The check-in speed at the front desk is very fast, and the surrounding convenience facilities are also intimately introduced. The room was very clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the fatigue of the journey was relieved when I lay down. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, the water pressure is also very suitable, the quality of the toiletries is good, with a faint fragrance. The breakfast is very rich, both Chinese and Western, the ingredients are fresh, the taste is very good, especially the freshly made noodles, the master craftsmanship is superb. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, not far from the subway station and the business district, travel and shopping are very convenient. In short, no matter the service, environment or cost-effectiveness, I will choose this one next time I come here, I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel location is very good nearby the pedestrian street.  The room condition is not bad & clean, but no refrigerator & the room has strong smoking smell.  Breakfast is fair.  Front staff are very good, even though they don't speak English at all, but they are trying to accommodate my requests well enough.  Overall is considerate & value for money especially in comparison with the amount paid, besides Donghai is a county, so far, this hotel is one of the good options for a short stay.

Beautiful hot springs and nature, but come prepared! We stayed in a luxury cabin in the Donghai Hot Spring Resort. Overall, we had a nice experience, but there are a few important things international travelers should know. The Positives: Hot Springs & Nature: The hot springs were wonderful and very relaxing. The nature surrounding the resort is beautiful and peaceful. Great BBQ: We really enjoyed the barbecue area and even grilled some delicious shashlik (skewers) there. Helpful Staff: The girls at the reception were very kind. They helped us book a taxi to Donghai Railway Station for 100 RMB. Upon check-out, they also gave us a lovely Lianyungang souvenir magnet, which was a very sweet touch. Things to Consider: Room Outlets: There are no European-style power outlets in the cabins. We asked the reception for an adapter, but they didn’t have any. Luckily, we had our own power banks, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to charge our devices. Bring your own Chinese plug adapter! There is a possibility to rent a power bank in main building though for 5 RMB/hour. Breakfast: The breakfast is purely Chinese style. Do not expect Western options. We had noodles, seaweed, eggs, fruit, and Coca-Cola. It was fine for us, but good to keep in mind. Location: The resort is quite isolated. If you do not have a car, it is very difficult to leave the property or get around on your own. We enjoyed the hot springs and the peaceful vibe, but the resort could improve by providing international adapters for foreign guests.
