GGuest UserThe city of Huazhou exceeded our expectations. It’s amazing. I was originally driving north from Hainan and was going to Zhanjiang after passing Xuwen Port, but after going there a few times I felt it was just average, so I changed my route to Huazhou and stopped there. I didn’t expect this small city to be so cozy, with so many delicious foods and cheap prices. The hotel is new and the facilities and equipment are intelligent. The front desk clerk was very nice. The upgrade to a river view room was awesome. The environment is nice for a walk along the river after dinner, without the hustle and bustle of a big city. I really recommend stopping here. Much better than staying in Zhanjiang.

Although it was the May Day holiday, the overall service staff was quite a lot and not panicky. The hotel is very new and smart, and the children like it very much. The room is also very clean and spacious, and there are tatami for drinking tea. Enjoy the self-service happy afternoon tea: It is very good, and the children like it very much. A bowl of noodles at night: You can also go to eat noodles if you are free at night, which is a complete plus. The gym: It is super good, the equipment is very good and new, and the yoga mats and other things are kept. It can be seen that they are very attentive. I am quite satisfied. I run for an hour every morning before going to have breakfast. The breakfast is also very good. I especially like the lao fen. The only thing I think is a flaw is that the building opposite is piling. It is useless to complain to the relevant departments during the May Day holiday. The hotel is located in the Lotus Lake Scenic Area, surrounded by green waters and clear mountains, beautiful scenery, fresh air, and a green green open with purple and red flowers, which makes people feel refreshed.
The hotel lobby is magnificently designed, the public areas are decorated with artistic atmosphere, and the fresh flowers are emitted in the space with a faint fragrance. The room I stayed in faced with the lake view, standing on the balcony to enjoy the lake and mountains, it was very pleasant.
The hotel's hardware is first-class, impressive and first-class service. The front desk staff Chen Enmei and Li Yanshan are polite and courteous, and they are never tired of asking questions, making people feel at home. Say to them again: thank you

The shower gel and shampoo are fragrant. The service at the front desk is very good. There is a small room while waiting for friends. My brother came over to help me pour water, which was very considerate! It's clean and tidy, and the breakfast is rich and delicious.

Not much to do in rainy season so really for hard core hot spring fans or people wanting a peaceful get-away to do nothing
Transfer to high-speed rail station only twice a day on a little tired old van so don’t expect a Sheraton worthy experience
Staff are helpful and friendly though some can do with more training. Management is a bit too hands off and perhaps need to step up the game a bit on guest experience overall
Pockets of surprises such as the night show on the lake and morning tai chi lesson on the hill.
Food very average with 50% of the food served at buffet dinner being the same as breakfast. Can consider introducing more local specialties and educate guests about them

PPhilipliFirst of all, this hotel really feels like a vacation. It has a large private beach. You can walk quietly on the beach and enjoy the sea breeze. There are not so many people at the First Beach. The front desk staff are very friendly and polite. Even the cleaning lady and other staff who pass by will greet you with a smile and open the door for you. It is very pleasant. The room is spacious. I booked a sea view room with a terrace facing the beach. 10 points recommended.
There is also a large bathtub. The room cleaning was done properly.
These parts are 100% satisfactory. There are some other activities when you stay in the park, such as taking a small train and some performances in the evening, which are all good.
The hotel's evening package included a dinner buffet, but that's where the problem lies. Dinner was supposed to be from 6-9pm, but I got there at 7:30 and there seemed to be basically nothing available. The remaining items were just the beginning and the end. The BBQ stalls stopped operating at 8pm, so there was nothing left. I don't know if the management is crazy or not, as all the food was placed outdoors, and there were lots of mosquitoes and bugs outside at night. The mosquitoes and bugs stopped eating the food, so I didn't want to eat it. It is reasonable to place the barbecue stall outdoors, but is it hygienic to place other cold and hot dishes outdoors like this? I was thinking of eating some ice cream, but unexpectedly, the outside of the ice cream truck said Häagen-Dazs, and when I opened it, it turned out to be Melaleuca. It is recommended that you skip this buffet dinner and do not purchase the set meal. Guo Duan left and drove out to find something to eat.
The next morning, Sunday, was even more outrageous. I thought I would be woken up by the sound of waves, but it turned out to be the construction noise that woke me up at eight in the morning. This management is out of their minds again. What kind of project needs to be done so urgently on Sunday morning when the most guests are staying? Really disappointed everyone watching the movie. However, the front desk service was once again very good. I called the front desk to complain, and the work was stopped after a few minutes, but I had already been woken up by the noise. Can't the project be started at least after 10 o'clock? Or should we do it on weekdays when the occupancy rate is not high? Management suggested that we could go home early.
The breakfast buffet is much more reasonable, with abundant food. Most importantly, the food is kept indoors, which is much cleaner with fewer mosquitoes.
Summary: Five stars for facilities, five stars for front-line service staff, and zero for management.
