Minhou Hotels with Breakfast

This hotel is about my first choice whenever I need to book a hotel in Fuzhou. This is third time and the experience is just as before, excellent. I will surely come back the fourth time. Friendly front desk, perfect location and clean. The breakfast is also ideal with both western and chinese style cuisine. The hotel is sure a value for the money. Highly recommended.

Exceeded expectations! The breakfast was even better than at many full-service hotels, and the service was excellent. The room was clean, and the price was very affordable. I've really come to like Vienna Hotel.

This hotel was definitely the right choice! The price was incredibly reasonable, yet the service was impeccable. The hotel was extremely clean; the sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the floors were sparkling clean, and even the bathroom was odor-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable; I didn't want to get up once I lay down, and I slept wonderfully that night. The room was fully equipped; the air conditioning, TV, and water heater all worked perfectly, and the hot water supply was plentiful, making showering a very pleasant experience. The staff were all very friendly and responsive, quickly bringing whatever I needed – very thoughtful.

這次入住這家維也納酒店整體體驗十分舒心，地理位置地處大學城商圈，出行逛街都很便捷。酒店內部格局比較特別，樓層通道彎彎曲曲，單層客房數量很多，初次入住找房間需要稍加留意。前台服務熱情貼心，辦理入住效率很高，還主動貼心為我免費升級了房型，空間更加寬敞通透，入住幸福感直接拉滿，這點真的特別暖心。 客房內部整潔乾淨，設施齊全好用，床鋪柔軟舒適，居住舒適度很不錯。酒店早餐區域和周邊特色小吃店相連，用餐氛圍輕鬆自在，早餐品類實在又接地氣，不僅有常規簡餐，還設有現煮檔口，能當場煮鮮香粉面，口味地道暖心。現磨豆漿醇厚香濃，口感純正，一早吃上熱乎麪食配上香醇豆漿，元氣滿滿。整體性價比出眾，服務周到、餐食合口，不管是出差辦事還是短途出行都很合適，後續再來大學城還會優先選擇這家酒店。

The room looks exactly like the official pictures, and the hotel service is decent. The only downside is the disposable slippers – their quality is pretty poor 😓, they really only last a day. During the Chinese New Year period, the park had a full schedule of activities every day, but the evening water show required an extra ticket. For families with kids, they might want to consider a few things: perhaps slightly larger rooms, and a ticket package for 2 adults and 1 child (or 2 children). I saw several families having to pay extra for their children's tickets during check-in, which was a bit annoying. Staying at a hotel inside the scenic area is really convenient, especially in the mornings when it's much quieter before the outside visitors arrive.

The hot springs were excellent, but the room felt a bit dated. The breakfast was a major disappointment; the dining area felt quite empty, there was very little variety, and the taste was mediocre. To top it off, the coffee served was instant. The coffee at the ground floor coffee bar, priced at ¥9.9 a cup, was absolutely undrinkable – I've never had such terrible coffee. The server there was also a bit stubborn and inflexible. And considering I paid 68 RMB for breakfast, it definitely wasn't worth the price. Next time, I'll definitely just visit for the hot springs and skip staying at the hotel.

The hotel lobby is on the fifth floor, with a stylish design, large rooms, high floors, large floor-to-ceiling windows, unobstructed views from the window, and a wide view. The room is quiet, suitable for sleep, very close to major universities. The jasmine tea presented is authentic and fragrant. 008 waiter helped upgrade the room type and was sincere and friendly. Unfortunately, the laundry room is simple, the washing machine function is backward, long and inefficient, there is no independent air conditioning, and the fresh air system is still slightly hot in the sunny warm winter.

I stayed at Western Fortune Hotel Fuzhou Minhou and found it to be a solid, no-frills option. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, though some parts of the room felt a bit dated. The location is quiet, which I liked, but it’s a bit far from the main city areas, so getting around took extra time. Staff were polite and helpful when needed, even if communication in English wasn’t always smooth. Breakfast was okay—nothing special, but it did the job. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if you’re in the Minhou area and just need something comfortable and straightforward.

The front desk service attitude is very good, there are small snacks provided for free, the invoice is issued quickly, the room is clean, the hotel is in a great location and the environment is comfortable! See you next time!

The facilities are rather old, and as some netizens have mentioned, it is indeed a bit noisy, especially the room doors, which have no door cushioning, making a loud noise every time you step out. The hallway is also completely uninsulated. I especially want to complain about breakfast. The breakfast was supposed to be at 9:30, but when I arrived at 9:00, the staff loudly announced they were closing up shop. They started clearing away many plates, completely disregarding the guests still seated. This was the first time I'd encountered such service.
