I had to switch rooms at midnight because the air conditioning couldn't cool below 20°C. The technician couldn’t fix it and advised me to call the duty manager. I had an early flight and needed rest, but the room change took time, and I was disturbed again by a late-night call offering a towel. I finally slept around 12:30 AM and had to wake up at 5:15 AM. On the bright side, the porter kindly gave me a breakfast bag before my early checkout. Still, I’m reconsidering staying here again—might opt for a 4-star hotel with better comfort next time.

The place is not perfect, but nothing to complain about - especially factoring in the price.
Our room overlooked the main road and soundproofing wasn’t quite good enough, although Indonesia is full of unnecessarily loud exhausts.
We had stunning sunsets almost daily!

They offered me a free breakfast, which was a delight to eat The decor is very traditional javanese with a modern twist The Rooms were very comfortable It was a lovely experience will stay here again The sop buntut is well worth ordering

AAnonymous UserI was pleased with my experience staying at Hotel Bisanta Bidakara. The building is kinda old, but the room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable sofa, TV, closet for hanging clothes, refrigerator, and a relaxing bathtub. The hotel also provided a delicious breakfast with a diverse range of dishes, including nasi goreng, pecel, bubur ayam, spaghetti, nasi kuning, and many more.
However, there were a few issues that arose during my stay. The air conditioning unit failed to turn on for about 20 minutes, the remote control screen was blurry, and there was a noticeable noise from the machine. Fortunately, the AC was able to function again after a short while.
While there is room for improvement, the hotel's comfortable rooms, the wonderful breakfast experience and responsive staff make it a good choice for those looking for accommodation in Surabaya.

AAnonymous UserQuite clean and fragrant. Unfortunately, the placement of the window is not right, because it goes through to the next corridor, so it is not soundproof. You can hear people walking, or you can clearly see the housekeeping activities on duty. A little disturbing. Just a suggestion, if you make a smoking room, rearrange the placement of the window properly, so that guests also feel safe and comfortable. The condition of the window is also damaged, the sliding cannot be closed properly. Need to rejuvenate the color of the room paint, the bathroom floor and shower are leaking. The AC is not cold enough and looks worn out. Amenities are also incomplete. Only 1 toothbrush, 2 towels, soap and shampoo in one, only 1 slipper

AAliffi IsmailThe room has a moldy smell likely from the old carpet and the furniture a little run down. However, the breakfast spread was more than we expected for the price we paid for the room. Convenient location close to shopping malls and really value for money.
