Tegalsari Hotels with Breakfast

We arrived during Chinese New Year and got a free upgrade to a spacious family suite. We even cooked our own New Year's Eve dinner and made dumplings because the kitchen was so well-equipped! I was so happy! We celebrated Chinese New Year while traveling! It felt just like home! Absolutely wonderful!

Exceeded expectations! For such an affordable price, I felt like I received 5-star service. Breakfast was included and quite satisfying, and the welcome drink was really refreshing after a long trip. I dropped my luggage before check-in, and it was super convenient, I even got early check-in, which allowed me to explore the city right away and save both time and money. After check-out, I also left my luggage at the hotel and enjoyed a nearby café before my departure. So helpful! The facilities were excellent: power outlets conveniently placed for charging, fresh towels and linens replaced daily, complimentary bottled water, and reliable hot water for showers. There’s also a dispenser for hot and cold water refills. The view from my room was a bonus, I could see Tunjungan Plaza right from the window. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Surabaya. Absolutely loved my stay at Amaris Hotel Embong Malang Surabaya. Definitely staying here again!

The rooms are quite large, the dining room is also large, and it's quite clean.

The location is super strategic, right in the city center and close to everything. Public transport access is also nearby. I stayed there for 5 nights, and on one day, the room wasn't cleaned even though I had requested it at the front office. I'm a regular here; whenever I need a hotel in the city center, I always choose this one. There's a semi-indoor swimming pool and a mini-fridge in the room. The view from the upper floors is also beautiful.

Great location. Very busy place as it has many function rooms. Lift takes around 3 years to arrive due to the number of people coming in and out of the hotel. Bedsheets need cleaning.

Quite clean and fragrant. Unfortunately, the placement of the window is not right, because it goes through to the next corridor, so it is not soundproof. You can hear people walking, or you can clearly see the housekeeping activities on duty. A little disturbing. Just a suggestion, if you make a smoking room, rearrange the placement of the window properly, so that guests also feel safe and comfortable. The condition of the window is also damaged, the sliding cannot be closed properly. Need to rejuvenate the color of the room paint, the bathroom floor and shower are leaking. The AC is not cold enough and looks worn out. Amenities are also incomplete. Only 1 toothbrush, 2 towels, soap and shampoo in one, only 1 slipper

Good price in great location. Only setback - the elevators are super slow. Otherwise a great place to stay in the heart of Surabaya
