"Quite clean and fragrant. Unfortunately, the placement of the window is not right, because it goes through to the next corridor, so it is not soundproof. You can hear people walking, or you can clearly see the housekeeping activities on duty. A little disturbing. Just a suggestion, if you make a smoking room, rearrange the placement of the window properly, so that guests also feel safe and comfortable. The condition of the window is also damaged, the sliding cannot be closed properly. Need to rejuvenate the color of the room paint, the bathroom floor and shower are leaking. The AC is not cold enough and looks worn out. Amenities are also incomplete. Only 1 toothbrush, 2 towels, soap and shampoo in one, only 1 slipper"

GGuest UserThe hotel is good, I stayed in an apartment. The room was spacious, but it didn't feel recently renovated. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a shopping mall. The soundproofing in the room was poor, and it's very close to a mosque. There was a loud prayer call from 3 AM onwards, which severely disrupted my sleep. On the positive side, the hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was abundant.

For such an affordable price, I felt like I received 5-star service. Breakfast was included and quite satisfying, and the welcome drink was really refreshing after a long trip.
I dropped my luggage before check-in, and it was super convenient, I even got early check-in, which allowed me to explore the city right away and save both time and money. After check-out, I also left my luggage at the hotel and enjoyed a nearby café before my departure. So helpful!
The facilities were excellent: power outlets conveniently placed for charging, fresh towels and linens replaced daily, complimentary bottled water, and reliable hot water for showers. There’s also a dispenser for hot and cold water refills.
The view from my room was a bonus, I could see Tunjungan Plaza right from the window. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Surabaya.
Absolutely loved my stay at Amaris Hotel Embong Malang Surabaya. Definitely staying here again!

WWulandari RUUThe room size is larger compared to other 3-star hotels. I stayed for 2 nights, and the room was tidied daily, but it would be even better if the carpet was vacuumed too. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the menu changed daily. Highly recommended, and the kids loved it! The view from room 404 directly overlooks TP, which was fantastic.

AAnonymous UserIt’s a decent hotel located in center of Surabaya near to Tunjungan Plaza and Jalan Tunjungan. The room is very standard to everything one person need for few nights stay… nothing fancy. I was assigned room with amazing view from 6th floor. The room is clean and neat and I love that they have smart TV. Wifi is pretty fast and reliable too. One thing for improvement is foul smell on the hallway. I think it’s due to the aging building. However, staffs clean the hallway carpet regularly. I would surely return to this hotel if I go back to Surabaya.
