The property is around 8km to Thanjavur temple. The property is however conveniently located near the highway. Staff was courteous and polite. Recommended.

We stayed for one night and our stay was very pleasant. Hotel is bit Outside of Kumbhakonam, but the neighbourhood is very quiet and pleasant. We could able to peacocks, ducks and other animals roaming in the night and early morning. The village and resort environment is very refreshing.  Restaurant food is good, but service is very late.

Tanjore Inn is in a nice and calm locality. The room is spacious with a heritage look. Staff is very polite and helpful. A good experience.

This is right in the middle of Tanjore. Rooms are pretty decent and spacious. Though it's a hotel of longtime it's well maintained. Ample car parking. The rooms that have access to the pool are good. We could spend time at the pool instead of sitting inside. Food is also good. Complimentary breakfast was also simple and neat. On the price side a little higher.

Stayed at the hotel during our visit to the town. As a pilgrimage and as to visit historical sites, we were there. For our purpose the hotel and the restaurant were fine. Felt comfortable with the staff and amenities.

The cleanliness, amenities and service was generally satisfactory. The WiFi is strong but toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste as well as toilet rolls are not provided. We booked a suite with 2 double beds but upon arrival was told that our booking was not received and they don’t have a room with 2 double beds. So information found in trip.com and the hotel does not tally. It will be good if the system updates the room types that are truly available. Overall, the stay was comfortable, despite some issues during check in.
