Dunedin Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel is on the slope at the end of George Street, overlooking Dunedin. The appearance is small and fresh, and the inside is exquisite. It is so clean. Kitchenware, tableware, washing machine and dryer are all available. The superior one-bedroom room has a large bed + a single bed, especially suitable for a family of three.

Dunedin's top choice for accommodation! The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mini-kitchen was fully equipped. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. Owners Barry and Donna were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to mark local eateries and attractions on a map. Parking right outside the door was super convenient, and it's an easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Amazing value for money, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Dunedin House is a beautiful old building has all the charm from the old era. The rooms are a bit small but was fitted with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable, and from our room we can get out to a balcony which was so cool. The tea and coffee area and the lounge room downstairs give us extra space to relax.

Decent, average stay. The hotel is very close to Octagon Square and the church. However, due to an issue with Trip.com and their agent, they unilaterally changed our booking from a queen bed + single bed room to a queen bed room without informing us. Luckily, after communicating with the front desk on-site, they were able to add a rollaway bed.

This hotel has a long history, so the facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is still good. When I checked in, there was no one at the front desk, so the key was left in an envelope with three candies. My booking didn't include breakfast, but they thoughtfully provided a banana and some cereal. It was a good experience.

The hotel is located in the city center, only 5 minutes walk to the First Church and about 10 minutes to the train station. Parking is convenient and there are many places to eat. When checking in, there is no front desk and you have to call. The hotel is old but very clean. The elevator is too old and a bit scary. I bought bread for breakfast at the supermarket. There are bowls and basins.

Kudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.

The host was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel is very convenient, right on the main street, and the owner is very helpful. The environment is good, the service is good, the sanitation is comfortable, very satisfied, will come again, recommend friends to stay in Dunedin.

The motel's location is a bit out of the city center, so a car is essential for getting around. You can park right in front of your room. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including pots and pans. The male owner was very responsible. On our first night, the AC wasn't blowing hot air, and we woke up freezing at around 5 AM. We talked to the owner the next day, and he explained that the thermostat was set too high, preventing the AC from kicking in. He then restarted the outdoor unit and got it working. He even proactively knocked on our door to check if it was working correctly and brought us a small space heater. The owner also provided a small map, showing us places to visit in the city and how to get there.
