Dunedin Hotels with Parking

Dunedin's top choice for accommodation! The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the mini-kitchen was fully equipped. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. Owners Barry and Donna were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to mark local eateries and attractions on a map. Parking right outside the door was super convenient, and it's an easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Amazing value for money, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

We stayed in a room for 3 people. It had everything we needed. The location could not have been better, we hardly used the car. The staff were amazing anything we needed was taken care of quickly. We used the compound gym which we really enjoyed the man there was also really nice. The gentleman in reception, as everyone has said, was really great and could not have been more helpful. I was even able to use their office space for a period after we had checked out which I was so grateful for. I would highly recommend them and would stay there again no question.

We were in the“Seabreaze“ apt, which was very clean and had the exact great views over the beach as described. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our breakfast. While it was cold outside, the heating inside kept us warm and cozy. Parking in the garage underneath, or right beside the building for a larger car. Important to mention the Italian restaurant just 100m away at the corner, which is our absolute favourite when coming to Dunedin! We highly recommend staying at the Esplanade Apartments and will book again in the future.

We were driving from Queenstown back to Christchurch and this hotel was a great overnight stopover. At just over 600 [NZD, assuming currency], it was excellent value for money. The room was very spacious, and the bed was huge – like two double beds put together! The only downside was the inconvenient parking, but then again, most hotels in New Zealand charge for parking. We paid the deposit in cash, and checking out was smooth; they inspected the room for about 3-5 minutes in the morning and refunded it. All in all, a good experience.

The hotel is located in the city center, only 5 minutes walk to the First Church and about 10 minutes to the train station. Parking is convenient and there are many places to eat. When checking in, there is no front desk and you have to call. The hotel is old but very clean. The elevator is too old and a bit scary. I bought bread for breakfast at the supermarket. There are bowls and basins.

I chose this hotel for its location, and it was excellent – very convenient with many restaurants nearby. The room was clean and spacious. It was a bit disappointing that water leaked from the shower screen's gap, making the floor wet.

Kudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.

The bed was quite comfortable and clean. Breakfast has bread milk cereal jam. There is also 24-hour luggage storage.
