Guest UserThe hygiene, environment, and service were excellent, nothing to complain about.
Initially, I was given a room on the right-hand corridor off the elevator. Rooms in this location are directly on a thoroughfare, so the sounds of people talking and walking were incredibly loud. I didn't get any sleep that night. When I tried to communicate with the front desk, my English wasn't great, so the communication was a bit difficult. Luckily, Trip.com actively helped us communicate and eventually arranged a quiet room.
However, there was a female staff member at the pool who seemed to discriminate against Chinese people. She clearly served two drinks at 9 PM, but when she saw I was Chinese, she insisted it was only one, while foreigners received two. This kind of service staff can bring a lot of negative impact to the hotel. I hope the hotel takes this seriously.
Most importantly, the hotel's beach is extremely small, and the hotel itself is quite isolated. You can only stay within the hotel premises; going out requires a car. When booking hotels abroad, don't book too many days at once. If you need to check out early, Trip.com always gives evasive answers, saying the hotel won't allow refunds, implying that Trip.com has signed unfair clauses with the hotel.

Lilia PedejeroMy family and I recently stayed at Crimson for a night, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. My daughter absolutely loved the place, and the only word she could repeatedly say was, “AMAZING.”
The buffet breakfast was outstanding, especially the wide variety of options available for kids. It was thoughtful touches like these that made our stay even more enjoyable. The foam party at the infinity pool was also a big highlight and added so much fun and excitement for the children.
What truly made our stay memorable was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, warm, and approachable throughout our visit. During checkout, a piece of luggage belonging to a guest from Room 619 was accidentally loaded into our car. As soon as we discovered it, we immediately contacted the concierge, and the taxi driver kindly returned it to the hotel right away.
Overall, we had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at the resort. Thank you for the excellent service and experience — we would gladly return and highly recommend Crimson to others.

Guest UserThe room decor feels quite dated, with the bathroom and various furnishings showing their age and a slight musty smell. The air conditioning automatically turns off when the balcony door is opened.
The external environment is relatively good, with a park and a beach available. The pool is also well-designed, helping to distribute people. There's a 'naughty bag' (play area) suitable for different age groups of children, which requires a fee, though hotel guests receive a discounted rate. Breakfast gets very crowded, so expect to queue.
Overall, it's suitable for a family vacation. However, if you have high expectations for the accommodation experience, you might want to choose a newer hotel.

Guest UserThe hotel's service, facilities, and cleanliness were all top-notch.
The only thing that wasn't great was the beach. It was quite small, and more importantly, the sand wasn't really sand – the grains were very large, making it uncomfortable to walk on even with flip-flops. If you go, it's definitely more worthwhile to spend your time at the hotel's infinity pool. The buffet was also good; someone was celebrating a birthday, and it felt very ceremonial, similar to Haidilao in China. Finally, I had originally wanted to try the hotel's Thai restaurant, but at 12 PM, they told us it was closed for the day. Also, the Thai massage on the second floor didn't open on time in the morning 😅

I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy.
My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi.
To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark.
The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering.
Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out.
My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner.
My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A.
I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

Anonymous UserLocation wise, this is pefect. You can just take any public transport and you are there when you get off. The staff are very well trained, very nice and very polite. Everything looked very clean and even if the hotel is not that big, they had a badminton/volleball courts. There is enough beach front to walk around. For a Lapu-lapu beach, their beach is clean enough as well. They had plenty of covered lounge couches to enjoy beach front even under the sun. The pool is small but it feels clean.
We paid an extra ₱ 500 to get the ”upgrade” for the ocean view and it was our biggest mistake causing us to lose sleep. Apparently, the room assigned to us was part of an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. We can hear everything happening in the other room and unfortunately the couple in the other room were going at it very loudly (the girl was shouting) until around 5 in the morning. We don't recommend the breakfast buffet as well especially if you are paying the extra ₱1,100 for another person. Very few choices, very salty meat dishes and we don't know exactly what caused it but we had a stomachache after breakfast.

Art F.The rooms are excellent, spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom is huge.
On the second day we could not get the staff to clean up the room, for some reason everyone else was a priority. But the rest of the services were great and the staff overall are as welcoming and friendly as Filipinos can be.
The location was the major let down for us as there is no beach in reality, which is what we booked for. There is a tiny area of beach access completely covered with algae and littered with boats. You can only hope on an island tour if you want to spend time in an actual White Sand beach.
Also you have to chance walking with no sidewalk dodging cars if you want to go eat anywhere else.

I loved my stay here and I felt my studio room was very specious. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the amenities and toiletries needed. Rooms cleaned daily.
The hotel also has a nice and reasonably priced café, a small swimming pool for relaxing and a gym. There are spas, restaurants and a mall just in walking distance.
Staff was nice and arranged a free ride for me to the airport at the end of my stay.

john ray BIf you are looking for a place to truly recharge, this hostel is an excellent choice.
While it is not located very close to the airport, the slightly longer commute is well worth it for the atmosphere you get in return. Unlike many hostels near busy transit hubs, this one is remarkably quiet, allowing for a deep and uninterrupted sleep.
