"Very disappointed and not recommended, as they sued their own guests for parking. I’m sure to advise reception for car in their car park, as always do. Just received a fine from 3 years ago, shame of you. No contact, no telephone or email. Please avoid if you can! It is should not take place never. My sorry for spending my money on this place. Very dissatisfied and disappointed, avoid this place. Just find my receipt I’m paying for staying and dining there, and even more feel cheated, very upset and angry! Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!"

The Royal Bridlington ★★★★

"We spent one night at the Royal as we needed to be in Bridlington early in the morning for a boat tour. Didn't really know what to expect but we're really happy with our visit. Tim the owner was there to welcome us when we arrived at 8pm and showed us to our room. This was on the ground floor in a small annexe at the rear of the building. No sea view but it was a large room with a very spacious bathroom. Also was very quiet. We had to park our car on the road as the car park was full but that was fine. For dinner we took a short stroll along the seafront and had a lovely meal at a Mediterranean style restaurant nearby. Slept well and had a great breakfast. Tim cooked a range of hot breakfast dishes and there was a good buffet of cold foods. I had lovely berries and there was a lot of choice. Breakfast was cooked well and the dining room is organised. All in all it is a well run establishment in a great location. "

From the greeting at reception, the friendly service for dinner (and excellent food) too the wonderful breakfast in the morning, we could not have asked for better service. They have even volunteered to post back something we left in the room by accident. 5 star service, fully recommend."

"Hotel rooms are in a separate area from the reception and bar/restaurant, and rooms are rather cosy. Car parking is rather limited, but free if available. The breakfast is a la carte, and quite excellent, served in the dining room directly overlooking the harbour. Staff are exceptionally helpful."
