Ruby Ella Hotel Cologne by IHG

Excellent hotel, just a 2-minute walk from the metro. You can reach Cologne Cathedral in about 20 minutes on foot. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant, and they even let me check in early. The breakfast was superb, the mattress was great, but I had some issues with the pillows. Also, there were some concerns regarding soundproofing, though it's possible I just had very noisy neighbors.

The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and dedicated. No matter what questions or concerns you have, you always feel well taken care of, understood, and truly looked after. They pay close attention to requests and suggestions and visibly strive to find solutions. The employees treat you with great friendliness, openness, and professionalism, creating a very pleasant and trusting atmosphere. You immediately notice that they work with heart and that people's well-being is their top priority. I came away with a consistently very positive, open-minded, and appreciative impression and can absolutely recommend their service and care.

It's okay. The shower only had a curtain instead of a glass door, which I didn't find very hygienic.

I was traveling alone for a concert in Cologne. The hotel was super easy to reach by S-Bahn/U-Bahn. I opted out of room service and got a complimentary cocktail instead, so I can't say much about it except that everything was clean upon arrival. The cocktail was very delicious. My highlight was the in-room music box, which I used daily! The staff were also very accommodating and helpful. I needed a copy, which they made for me without any problems and even free of charge. I can therefore highly recommend this hotel!

It was a fantastic stay. Very clean. Early check-in was possible, well before the advertised time. The service staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were unable to start our trip due to heavy snowfall. We were completely snowed in in Höxter. Unfortunately, they were not accommodating at all. There was a complete lack of kindness or goodwill here.

Beautiful and stylish hotel with very nice staff. We'd love to come back. :)
