The Devonian ★★★
"Very cozy, great breakfast, and amazing staff."
The Town House ★★★★
"Stayed here for TT week and couldn't have asked for a better base. The room was beautiful with stunning views over the promenade, and the location is perfect — 10 minutes walk to the Grandstand and everything Douglas has to offer. What really stood out was the service from Jon. We arrived early before check-in and he personally messaged us just a few hours later to let us know our room was ready — three hours ahead of schedule, with our luggage already moved in. When the racing was cancelled due to weather, he even offered us a discounted extra night so we'd have a chance to catch the races. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare. Unlucky with the weather this year, but The Town House made the trip worthwhile regardless. Will absolutely be back for TT 2027. 10/10"
Best Western Palace Hotel Casino ★★★★
"This hotel was dirty and old also far from everything. The reception staff was incredibly impolite. They gave us a room very far from the elevator, and when we finally arrived, the key card didn’t work. I had to drag all my luggage back to the reception desk. The receptionist reset the card without even apologizing. The rudest part was that she wrote the room number on a piece of paper again, acting as if it were my mistake! The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the variety of fruits at breakfast. So, if you are planning to book this hotel, do it only for the fruits."
The Empress Hotel ★★★★
"All good but breakfast way too expensive"
At Caledonia ★★★
"The location is on the promenade but a 30 minute walk from Douglas centre, there was not a lot in the immediate vicinity. Parking is on street (with restrictions) and hit and miss with space for our motorcycles not always available outside the hotel. The interior of the hotel is a little tired. Three of us stayed in a family room with two single beds and a bunk bed the room size was adequate but on entering it had a strong cooking type smell which remained throughout our stay. The flush on the toilet didn’t work properly, the shower was over the bath which was awkward to get in and out of and the bath itself seemed to be of thin plastic and had a little give when standing in it. The weather was hot yet the room windows had security wires preventing them from being opened more than a few inches, there was no fan and the room was stifling during the day and hot through the night. Apart from at the time of our arrival we never saw a member of staff for our entire stay. Breakfast was only available between 8am and 9am so we did not visit the restaurant. This was a last minute booking and as such our choice was limited and the hotel provided us with the night time accommodation we needed for a week but I would not return."
Regency Hotel ★★★★
"The Regency has a slightly bygone era feel to it. Service, decor, appearance... And it's so much better for it's old fashioned standards of guest care and service The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant serves quality fare. The view right over the bay is beautiful whilst it's only about a mile walk into central Douglas. Excellent hotel and staff "
Edelweiss Guest House ★★★
"Our bike club organised a trip to the Isle of Man and we block booked the Eidelweiss Hotel. Justin the owner was a fantastic host and provided fabulous service. Breakfast was a sight to behold with multiple choice self serving. He couldn’t have done enough for us. My room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. He even provided us with a takeaway breakfast as our early morning ferry meant we couldn’t have the usual sit down option. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for a further holiday. Also there was a lift available to reach all floors so no logging luggage up stairs. Totally recommend this hotel for anyone wanting have a nice relaxed break. Steve"
The Penta ★★★
"Great place! Really convenient and comfortable. Thank you:) some fruit at breakfast would be a benefit to the guests 😀"
Arrandale House ★★★
"We stayed here for a honeymoon style getaway due to covid. we never actually got a honeymoon, so we took the chance to get away for a few days. The House is very well located just 4 minutes walk from the Promenade, it has a lot of stairs so if you struggle with stairs this isn't the place for you as there is a lot of them and they are steep as we found running up an down to the room is a pain after a while lol the room was great spacious with a view over the water, we had room to eat, sit an watch the boats come and go and watch TV as well as a bathroom with a walk in shower. The room was clean and tidy, and the windows work, which is a bonus as it did get very hot on. It was nice to be able to open the windows and enjoy the breeze. Our issue was the beds and this is the reason for the 3 stars omg they where so hard it was actually like lying on the floor I've never felt beds as hard in my life they had no comfort to them and actually left myself and my husband in pain due to the lack of support and how uncomfortable they where whic resulted in alot of disturbed sleep as we just couldn't settle on them the duvet where very thin like 3.5tog an even the pillows where hard honestly if it wasn't for hoe bad the beds where we would have gave a higher rating. The breakfasts were great, and the staff were lovely we really enjoyed our stay and it really was perfect location ways etc just need to do something about the bed situation "

Mannin Hotel
"Good location, good service"
Bed and Blueberry Two Bed Suite for 2,3, 4 People Own Facilities
"One again, we've enjoyed a wonderful stay at Bed and Blueberry. This was our ninth or tenth stay with Cindy and that should say it all - she is just the perfect host, friendly and welcoming. As always, the accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The layout of the house has been changed a little since our last visit and can now be arranged as two 5-bed family apartments, one on each floor - a really worthwhile improvement. There's a small, but well-equipped kitchen on each floor, which we found completely up to our needs. The house is located in a quiet side street, shielded from noise and traffic, but just a minute or two on foot from the promenade and the tram and bus stops. We couldn't wish for a nicer place to stay and are already making plans for next year!"
Trevelyan Hotel
Amadeus Apartments
"This place is amazing. Absolutely beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and decorated and furnished to the most highest standard. From our initial booking the hosts were so helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here. Kitchen was stocked with basics tea coffee milk etc. Even the shower room had shampoo conditioner and body wash. I can see why it has a gold star. Our journey over was really stressful due to flights being cancelled and we had to be here for our daughters wedding. But once through the door the sting was taken from our tail. Thanks guys for all your help."
Comis Hotel & Golf Resort
