Outstanding
GGuest UserMy wife and I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Chaume. This family run Ryokan made us feel at home. The manager drove us to and from a terrific onsen nearby and afterwards we were served a delicious multi-course dinner. The drink list was excellent too. After a tasty Japanese style breakfast we needed help making an onward reservation, so the manager made several calls on our behalf and found us a place that had a last minute cancellation. I would recommend the Ryokan Chaume to anyone looking for a high quality inn.
Ffattycat2525This is a guest house on Hakata Island facing the sea. There is a fish tank in the lobby, filled with fresh local fish. You can see the sea from the lobby, but there are few rooms facing the sea, so we chose a room facing the mountain. For those who don't mind raising and lowering the futon by themselves, this is a cost-effective accommodation where you can enjoy meals. For the meal, I chose the ``Seto fresh fish, turban shell, and taimeshi plan,'' so it came with appetizers such as turban shells, assorted sashimi, boiled Kou fish, tempura, and taimeshi. It was a shame that I couldn't eat all the sea bream rice because it was a huge meal and I drank a lot of alcohol. Breakfast is also fulfilling.
GGuest UserI thought this place was remote and difficult to reach by public transportation. For this reason, I took a small amount of money to take a taxi in and out, and I wanted to give a bad evaluation.
But the moment you see the hotel facilities and scenery, everything is no longer important. When the weather is good, the room and restaurant can see the super super beautiful scenery! The sunset and morning light are so beautiful.
The meal is superb, you must choose one night, two or three meals, each meal is eaten, and the taste is very good.
The room is large and the layout is very good.
The only regret is that there is no natural hot spring, otherwise you can really choose to live here for three days.
GGuest User(2023/04/04) My recommendation is not to sleep in Omishima if you can avoid it. If you can't avoid it, I recommend you avoid this accommodation. The person who served us did not show any attention. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. There are only two bathrooms and two showers for the 5 rooms between 2 and 4 beds each. The rooms and bathrooms seem clean. The beds are very uncomfortable, the beds/shots are spent. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. It feels like we have been very good at some time, but our experience has not been that for nothing. It's a real pity. 😞
