In the house everything is clean and clean. , and most importantly, very authentic, with a soul. On the walls are hanging copies of the paintings of Kitako Fumio - the famous Japanese artist. It turns out he is our sweet hostess' uncle. We would be happy to come here again 😍

The building is old, but the accommodation was lovely and well-maintained. The view from the room was also great. Above all, the food was excellent. For dinner we had fish sashimi, simmered fish, tempura, and vinegared dishes. The simmered fish was delicious. It was called ”ako,” and apparently it's a luxury fish at the market. It was fresh, with really firm flesh, and was great. The facilities are old, and since it's basically a guesthouse, there are shared baths, toilets, and sinks. If you can accept that, it's a great place to stay. The landlady (?) was also friendly and nice. I used it on a bicycle trip, and I think I'd go again. It is located too far from the main route of shimanami kaido. Think it through before coming if you are beginner cyclists.
