GGuest UserI booked the Dome Room for two nights. As many online reviews mentioned, it was indeed very clean. The bedding was high-quality pure cotton, spotless white, making for a very reassuring sleep. Oh! Besides the room's air conditioning (heating and cooling), they also provided electric blankets on the beds – what a thoughtful owner!
The room came with an induction cooker, microwave, and refrigerator. The owner also thoughtfully provided dishes, pots, cutlery, tea bags, and milk, making it perfect for those who want to prepare simple meals.
Each room has free, unlimited Wi-Fi! We parked our car right outside the room, which made it very convenient to grab things.
The bathroom had both a shower and a spa tub, and they provided hand soap, shampoo/body wash, aromatic scents for the spa, and a hairdryer.
As for the service, both the owner and his wife were incredibly warm and attentive! Any issues we had were resolved immediately; their speed was impressive!
At just over 400 RMB per night booked through Ctrip, it was truly excellent value for money, far better than those run-down, outdated star-rated hotels! The half-star deduction is for the slightly weak water pressure in the shower, but after returning from the hot springs, a quick rinse is all you need, so it didn't bother us much.
Next time we come for the hot springs, we will definitely choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserThe owner is Chinese, so communication was very smooth. The room is a duplex, with one bedroom and a bathroom downstairs, and a kitchen, living room, and another bedroom upstairs. The space isn't huge, but it's well-equipped, and the bathtub is a good size. There's a terrace upstairs with a grapevine, and downstairs has direct access to a small courtyard. However, if you're traveling with elderly people or children and have a lot of luggage, going up and down the stairs might be a bit inconvenient.

TTheGiantPandaWe were assigned a room on 1st floor. There is no lift, can only take the stairs. So not accessible for disabled people or elderly. Lucky that we didn't have any suitcases!
We arrived late and hotel made special arrangements for checkin. Very kind of the front desk personnel.
The jacuzzi inside bathroom looks old and there is a time limit of usage!!
Nearest supermarket is 25mins away on foot.

GGuest UserUpon checking in, we received a bag of feed to give to the alpacas and sheep. The animals were very friendly, and our child had a wonderful time. While you can also feed animals at Agrodome Farm, here it felt like a VIP one-on-one experience. The room was new, clean, and tidy. The host was very responsive and helpful, quickly locating an item we left behind and sending it to our friends in New Zealand.
The hotel is very close to Te Puia Māori Village, just a few minutes' drive away (though I wouldn't highly recommend this attraction for families with young children, as everything is in English and dinner is served quite late, which made our child extremely hungry 🤦🏻♀️).

GGuest UserThe so-called breakfast was too poor. It only consisted of two slices of bread, two cans of yogurt, a 200ml box of milk, and a few jams. They were placed in the room on the day of check-in. The key is that the yogurt and milk were not placed in the refrigerator. The so-called motel hot springs are just two tiled pools from the 1970s in China.

Jj4yBGreat stay overall. Service was excellent—staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were modern and well-maintained, and the decorations in the roomw were aesthetic and informative. The location is perfect, right by Kuirau Park and close to town.
Only downside: not very wheelchair accessible, with no elevator to upper floors.
Highly recommended if accessibility isn’t a concern

GGuest UserVery clean, has everything you need. Wasn’t able to check in by 630pm, called them in advance to inform and arranged for a self check in. Emily was very kind, explained the steps over the phone, and texted again just as a reminder. Self check in was very easy and convenient. Instructions were attached with the key, documents were neatly placed in the room.
Only downside was it wasn’t very close to the supermarket/shops, probably about 15min walk, but it was raining so took us 20min. Driving would have been better.
Please note there’s no lift, so we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor.
Overall, would come back again, it was still a great stay!

GGuest UserThere are a lot of cats, the boss is also very kind, but unfortunately the nearby residents are noisy enough, noisy during the day to the night, I don't know if it is a sound insulation problem or a problem of the quality of the residents.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a good location. Very near to some cafe and ample parking spaces. But unfortunately there was no electricity on our second day due to construction works nearby. To be specific: there was No Electricity from 8-9am until 1-2pm and then resumed normal. We had to finish all the food we bought from supermarket immediately otherwise food would turn bad.
There was a carnival or something nearby and there was fireworks.
