"The hotel is quite new and boasts a prime location in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are many Chinese restaurants nearby; I tried two, and both were delicious, plus I had a fantastic grilled fish. A Woolworths supermarket and an Asian grocery store are just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic, indicating excellent management. Valet parking costs $40 per day. Do note that toiletries and slippers are not provided (this is common in most Australian hotels). The hotel breakfast is $30 per person, and the food quality is good (compared to other Australian hotels). There's a gentleman at the front desk who speaks Chinese, and all staff members have excellent service attitudes. The hotel was very busy, with quite a few Chinese guests staying. On the downside, there was no bottled water, which I found to be the case in several hotels I stayed at in Tasmania. Also, the shower in the room doesn't have a door, so you have to be careful when showering to avoid wetting the bathroom floor."
