"This was one of the most memorable domestic trips I've had recently. Although the activity area wasn't large, mainly centered around the various Tulou (earthen buildings), it was like tea – worth savoring slowly, repeatedly 'brewing' its essence. The hotel's unique character really stands out, and the service is good. While there aren't many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every dish is excellent. As the 'building manager' said, the facilities and environment are 'restored to their old glory,' meaning they intentionally preserve the antique feel. Some minor imperfections and inconvenient transportation are negligible; you really can't judge it by conventional hotel standards. Towards the end of the Chinese New Year holiday, the crowds receded like a tide, and the village returned to its original tranquility. On the dimly lit village paths, there wasn't even the sound of barking dogs or human voices, only the gurgling of water and a faint scent of osmanthus. During the day, with sightseeing and guided tours, the Tulou seemed like quiet, well-behaved children, accepting the guide's introductions and visitors' comments. At night, illuminated by red lanterns, bonfires, and moonlight, the Tulou suddenly came alive, as if time belonged to them again, showcasing the steady wisdom and profound depth of elders. Yaodong, Wenxuan, Daosun, Heqing, Yuchang… the building names are filled with beautiful characters, representing generations of yearning and pursuit of a good life. 'They asked what era this was, and knew not of the Han, let alone the Wei or Jin…' For this village nestled by mountains and water, everything seems insignificant except for technology. Technology restored the old buildings, presenting them to newcomers, while the people who once lived here, with their desires and attachments, left no trace… Strangers admired each other's dazzling fireworks together. Though a fleeting joy in the river of time, it 'called back' the harmonious atmosphere of the clans who once lived collectively in the Tulou… Time achieved a closed loop here; life has always cycled in this manner."

"We had a great time during our stay. Most tourists seem to do day trips so it was nice to see the area in the evening when most tourists have left. The owners were lovely, we had tea with them when we got there and ordered delicious food in the evening. The room was very nice and clean, the only thing was that the bed was very hard, which we are not used to. Would definitely recommend staying here, can’t meet it for the money."

"I highly recommend this place for families with children under ten. The fish pond and dress-up activities in the *tulou* (earthen building) kept the kids thoroughly entertained; they even said it was more fun than the scenic spots themselves. Adults will also have a great time. Visiting other *tulous* in the scenic areas often means just seeing the exterior, as the interiors are usually packed with stalls. This homestay's *tulou*, however, is quiet and uncrowded, making it perfect for sitting back and enjoying a tea ceremony. We stayed in a small standalone villa, which was completely quiet at night. The only downside was that the bathtub was a bit dirty, so we didn't use it."

"The environment is very good and upscale, and the service of the front desk staff is also ok. We came for the hot spring pool in the room and it felt pretty good. I paid a 500 deposit for check-in, and the sky hot spring is charged separately. It seemed quite fun, but I didn't experience it because I checked in late. The buffet is also relatively rich. The only drawback was that the water stains on the shower head in the bathroom affected the appearance a bit, and the water in the shower at one o'clock at night was very hot. I adjusted it to cold water, but the cold water became smaller and smaller during the shower, and finally disappeared completely, so the water was too hot to continue washing. It was quite late so I didn't go to the waiter~ It was normal the next day. Overall, the price/performance ratio is okay."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Yunshuiyao scenic area. It's just a few hundred meters' walk to Yunshuiyao and all the main Tulou attractions, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is designed like a garden, it's quite large and the environment is beautiful. The rooms are also spacious and very quiet, making it perfect for family stays. The breakfast selection is quite rich, and the quality of the food is very good. They even offered a free breakfast for our child, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!"

"The architecture is quite distinctive, and the room is very spacious, feeling like a suite when you include the bathroom. The sofa beds can be opened up to 1.5-meter beds, and with the existing large bed, it can easily accommodate 4 or even 5 people. The decor is all wood, with a faint natural wood aroma. The air conditioning is powerful, and the cleanliness is well-maintained, though it was a bit damp during our stay due to several days of continuous rain. The doors, windows, and toilet are all smart, which is convenient and easy to use. However, the lights in the room are controlled in groups of two or three rather than individually, which is a minor inconvenience. The owner has a great attitude and excellent service, fulfilling reasonable requests. Besides the comfortable stay, the biggest advantage is living inside a *tulou* (earthen building), allowing you to experience it morning, noon, and night. After seeing two or three other *tulous*, you feel no need to see more. However, precisely because it's an almost century-old *tulou*, you can't help but ponder the hundred years of history and stories that unfolded within its walls while staying there. 😂 For someone as sensitive as me, overthinking can make it hard to sleep, so I wouldn't consider staying for more than two days."

"This guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, which is really cool because you get to stay directly in a Tulou! The owner has a great attitude, and there's parking available right outside, making it convenient for those driving. The owner personally greeted us and helped carry our luggage to the room. They proactively introduced us to the attractions and suggested sightseeing routes, and even offered to drive us to the scenic entrance, and pick us up from there. There's a restaurant in the building with good food at reasonable prices, and the complimentary breakfast was very generous. Before we left, the owner even gave us some local specialty tea. We'll definitely be back!"

"The facilities were excellent and very clean; it was a very rustic place. The owner was very welcoming and kind. The food was delicious! The tea was also very good. The evenings in the mountains were very quiet and the air was fresh. The only drawback was the significant temperature difference in winter; it got quite cold at night 😂 The house wasn't very well insulated, and even with the air conditioning on, it wasn't warm enough. Showering was even colder 😂… But that's understandable for winters in the south…"

"Located in Xiamen, the company went to Nanjing for team building. The company booked a homestay. I didn't have high hopes. But I was surprised after checking in. It felt like an aesthetic museum. It was very photogenic. I suggest you wear dark clothes to take photos in the homestay. I suggest you wear a more colorful skirt in ancient style when going to the earth building. The homestay comes with breakfast and the room also has a projection screen. The key is the washing machine and dryer. It's absolutely amazing. The staff of the homestay are very friendly. The only drawback is that it is a very homestay. It feels very good. You can hear geese calling in the morning and frogs calling at night.
