The location is very convenient and quiet. The courtyard is full of lemon trees, which is quite special. There is on-site parking, and the restaurant serves delicious dinner. Two recommended spots for taking photos in the Tulou (Hakka earthen buildings) – unique!

This is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host.

The accommodation provides spacious and clean rooms and is perfectly located in the Tulou scenic area at the southern part of Taxia village and very close to both the 田螺坑 土楼 and 河坑 土楼 as well as the 裕昌 building. All of them can be reached by car in just a few minutes.
I arrived at the Inn without a car myself and the owner not only helped me organize the visits but even offered to drive me to several nearby tulou. We had the chance to share several meals prepared by his wife, which were all excellent, and some very good tea from the region. The host is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor - we talked a lot after I arrived despite my very limited Chinese.
All in all, I can recommend this place very much - I would come back anytime if I decide to visit the area again.
(P.S. make sure to ask the host about the fireflies nearby - seeing them under the starry night is a mesmerizing experience and was one of the highlights of my trip to Fujian)

**Facilities:** The room was incredibly spacious, and the oversized sofa was exceptionally comfortable – perfect for lounging and enjoying the projector.
**Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean, genuinely exceeding my expectations.
**Ambiance:** Stepping into the guesthouse felt like entering a secluded paradise. I could easily spend a whole month here with my family, as everything you need for dining, entertainment, and relaxation is at your fingertips. It was so peaceful, I didn't even want to leave! I'll definitely be returning; it's highly recommended!
**Service:** The staff provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. Complimentary tea was available in the tea room, and the special pre-meal herbal tea was absolutely delicious. They even helped us with our luggage!

The homestay is located in the ”Four Vegetables and One Soup” scenic area, located at the highest point of the scenic area, overlooking the mountains in the morning, surrounded by clouds and mist, picturesque. The room was clean, the living was very comfortable and the price was full. We brought a puppy, and the hotel was a plus for pet-friendly. The key boss is kind and hospitable. Thank you very much for driving us to see the night view of Tulou at night, so that this trip has a lot of benefits, especially praise! We provided us with a money-saving guide to enter the scenic spot, and the recommended travel route was perfect, so that the last stop of our trip was a perfect end!

The room wasn’t what we expected - pictures looked better than in person but it was a comfy room. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The room included water and heat which was needed in the winter. Everything was perfect except the bathrooms smelt bad like sewage occasionally. We think it was the drainage or the pipes so we had to keep the bathroom door closed. Some moulding in there as well and there was an area behind the toilet that just kept leaking so the bathroom was very wet all the time. There could also be improvement from the shower area - door doesn’t close properly so water when showering kept spraying out. The accommodation is inside the village so it was nice to walk around in the morning and see the village wake up. Overall, room was great but bathroom was not. We ate dinner onsite but it was a bit pricey. Food was tasty but texture wasn’t to our liking. Owner was very kind and reheated our breakfast when we came down late. Also gave us a bottle of homemade rice wine when we checked out.

Shiahanga!
A hundred faints! ! ! Living in an earth building is a very special experience (many earth buildings in scenic spots do not allow people to go upstairs, so you have to pay to go upstairs! You can live here directly). I came here before the National Day. I was very lucky that only two people stayed in the entire earth building. , Hahaha, very quiet and a great experience! The store did a great job in upgrading the room type. I would like to praise the lady at the front desk by name! The person was super nice and even gave us grapefruits and recommended the itinerary in great detail! Went to Tianluokeng to see the rice terraces which were very beautiful! A great experience

Staying at this homestay, it really feels great! The boss is warm and hospitable, please let us eat his own passion fruit and taste his tea. Breakfast is cheap and affordable. Parking is convenient and free. Below the corridor pavilion of the room is the vegetable plot, standing in front of the window can enjoy the pastoral scenery. It is very close to the scenic Huaiyuan Tulou, just a few minutes walk. You can walk from Yunshuiyao Ancient Town. If you come here again in the future, this homestay is the first choice.

I usually do not choose homestay when other modes are available. However in Yunshuiyao homestay is the only choice. Given that 1949 has to preserve the local architecture do not expect 5 star hotel facilities. For all the constraints of a ”min su” the staff do go the distance to ensure they meet the demands of guests. I checked out a happy guest and will recommend 1949 to other travelers.

It is a relatively cost-effective hotel in the county town. It is not noisy and you can hear the frogs croaking when you sleep at night, which is quite nice. Fruits are given when you check in, but the plums are a bit sour. The waiter at the front desk is very enthusiastic and helps to turn on the TV if you can't watch it. The breakfast is so-so, but it is okay overall.
