Guest UserSpontaneously decided to go for seafood last weekend, so my wife and I hopped in the car and drove straight to Qinzhou. We hadn't planned anything, just booked the Yiduo Hotel on the highway because it was close to Niannianfeng Plaza, making dining convenient.
When we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, the front desk lady noticed our small bags and asked, 'Here for a trip, are we?' Then she proactively offered a tip: 'If you're going to Sanniang Bay, head out early tomorrow morning, the dolphins love to come out then.' These little pointers are really helpful.
Our room was on the fourth floor, not facing the street, so it was nice and quiet. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the bathroom had no odd smells, and the water pressure was great, making for a comfortable shower. The mattress was just right—my wife hates overly soft hotel beds, so she was happy with this one.
After settling in, we went straight to 'Gui Xiao Chu' on the fourth floor of Niannianfeng Plaza, as recommended by the front desk. We ordered Laoyou Fish and Lemon Duck. The Laoyou Fish was sour and spicy, with very tender meat; my wife had two bowls of rice. The Lemon Duck is a Qinzhou specialty, with firm duck meat and a refreshing citrus aroma that cut through any richness.
First thing the next morning, we went to Sanniang Bay, about an hour's drive from the hotel. We were lucky enough to spot two pink dolphins, and my wife was so excited, she kept taking pictures. We spent two hours by the sea, enjoying the breeze and walking on the sand. It was a perfectly relaxing Sunday.
On the way back, we randomly picked a street food stall in Qinzhou Port and ordered flower crabs, boiled shrimp, and stir-fried squid. Everything was fresh and affordable; we ate until we were stuffed for only 150 yuan for two people.
This spontaneous trip was a success; Qinzhou didn't disappoint, and this hotel was a great find. We'll definitely come back for seafood again.

The room is large, well-lit, bright, well-equipped, exquisitely decorated, the service is very attentive, the room type is very comfortable, the children like the small speaker, the bed is soft and comfortable, the sound insulation effect is good, The staff is very responsible to solve the problem. Great, will come again next time.

Guest UserI stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. While the service was decent, there are several quirks and issues that future guests should be aware of before booking.
The Downsides:
- Location & Accessibility: The hotel is tucked away from the main road. Taxis cannot drive all the way to the front lobby, so you will have to walk a bit with your luggage.
- Slow Check-in: The check-in process took quite a while, seemingly because the staff is not yet fully accustomed to handling international/foreign guests.
- The ”Non-Smoking” Room Issue: I booked a non-smoking room, but upon entering, the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I even found two cigarette butts on the floor (one by the window, one near the bathroom). I immediately asked to change rooms, only to be informed that the hotel actually does not have any non-smoking rooms at all.
- The Elevator Nightmare: The hotel shares a 28-story building with another hotel, but there is only one elevator servicing the entire building. Waiting for the lift requires a massive amount of patience.
- Tiny Restaurant: The hotel restaurant is incredibly cramped—honestly the smallest hotel restaurant I have ever seen. Because of the size, the breakfast buffet selection is very limited and just standard.
The Upsides:
- Good Service: The staff members were polite and tried their best to be helpful.
- Laundry Room: They have a very convenient laundry room equipped with two washer/dryer units, which was a huge plus for a 5-night stay.
Verdict: If you just need a place to sleep and don't mind the elevator wait or the smoke policy, the service is good. However, if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke or in a rush, you might want to look elsewhere.

HayioThis is a newly opened hotel. When I came, only some of the rooms were renovated. There were still workers renovating the rooms, but it was not very noisy. The renovation was only done during the day.

It's great. The front desk helped me upgrade my room. The room was quiet. I swiped my card to go up to the elevator. I didn't have to worry about other people coming up and making a mess. Breakfast was okay. There was an underground commercial street at the door. It was very convenient. The heating was also very sufficient. I heated everything. woke up

Pretty good! We asked for an extra pillow in the middle of our stay and they were quick to respond. We originally planned to leave that night, but the kid insisted on staying for another night. 😂

Qinzhou Haijiao No. 7 Hotel (Sanniangwan Branch)
Seaview Double Room double bed
Furnishings fairly new and light, giving a friendly impression.
View of street, trees and sea further on.
Nice hot water!
Bed lights did not work.
The glass wall next to the basin, shelf above it and tap, was quite dirty 😱. I cleaned it while the host fixed the lights.
Soap holder in shower and shower glass door also very dirty.
No shower mat, asked for another towel.
Sheet was torn. Rest of bedding clean. No extra blanket or duvet.
Air-conditioning making noise so switched it off.
No tea.
Hairdryer not at mirror.
Hotel:
We are just a very ordinary hotel here! There are not many facilities. Sorry.
There are good hotels at the entrance of the scenic spot. I can take you there.
Marna:
These issues have nothing to do with a small or big hotel!
Actually at a small hotel it should be better as there are not so many staff nor rooms to manage and should there be more time to give attention to cleanliness and condition of bedding.
