"Arrived on the afternoon of Chinese New Year's Day. Both counters were busy during check-in, but Cathy proactively directed us to the third one. Since we were two adults with two young children, it was a bit of a struggle. Cathy thoughtfully gave the kids small horses to comfort them, which was very sweet. For the rest of our stay, everything perfectly matched our booking requests: a bed rail was installed, and child-friendly toiletries and a toilet seat were provided.
The housekeeping staff never slacked off, even though the kids made quite a mess. Our room was always spotless when we returned.
We'll definitely be back!"

"I was in Tangshan for a business trip and decided to bring my parents to Hetou Old Street to celebrate my mom's birthday. The last time I stayed here, Iris Yao Jiajing was my DM, and she made my stay so wonderful that I chose InterContinental again for my parents' visit. This time, we encountered a few minor issues with the room facilities, which is understandable given the hotel's age. However, every single problem was promptly and effectively resolved by Manager Yao Jiajing. She also proactively checked the room availability and upgraded my parents' room for free, which was a lovely surprise. When she learned it was my mother's birthday, she thoughtfully arranged a tea break with a cake for us. Throughout our stay, she also checked in to see if we needed anything else. I am incredibly grateful for Manager Yao's professionalism and attentiveness; she has truly left me with a positive impression of this hotel, and her service made our family trip exceptionally smooth."

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, we ended up deciding to visit Tangshan during the Qingming Festival. After browsing hotels on Trip.com, the Manhattan caught my eye. However, given that it was a holiday, the price increase lowered its overall appeal for me. If it were typically 400-500 yuan a night, I would give it a five-star rating.
Let's talk about the positives. I booked through Trip.com and specified my preferences (hoping for a non-corner, quiet room). The online response was that they would see what they could do upon arrival. Ultimately, I was given a relatively quiet room on the 17th floor (out of what I think are 22 floors). It was a king-size bed room, and the overall environment was nice and clean. However, the air conditioning wasn't working, and coupled with the dry climate, after discussing it with staff, they provided an electric fan, which made the nights a bit more bearable. The breakfast was plentiful; if I had traveled during a non-holiday period, the breakfast score would be even higher. One male staff member left a particularly deep impression on me. He spoke softly, had a kind expression, handled things calmly, and was very keen to introduce the hotel's features. It's a shame I don't remember his name…"

"I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It was super convenient to access Nanhu Park directly from the Pullman's back entrance using my room key. Monica at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful and provided excellent service, always greeting us with a smile. We accidentally left something behind when checking out, and she promptly noticed it, contacted us, and even mailed it back to me – I'm truly grateful! The hotel's castle-like architecture looks really upscale, and its proximity to Tangshan Yan makes getting around very easy. I'd definitely choose Pullman again if I visit Tangshan in the future."

"We wanted to be close to Hetou Old Street, so we chose the Orange Hotel. It's about 5 kilometers away, and getting a taxi was super convenient!
This hotel is very new; the decor and facilities are all modern, clean, and tidy. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the staff are friendly and polite!
Our room was spacious, and the toiletries were well-stocked!
The hotel breakfast was also excellent and very kid-friendly, with a great selection of desserts, local snacks, Chinese dishes, and cold appetizers. Everything tasted great! There was so much variety, you could try a little bit of everything and still be full! The tea was also a hotel highlight, with several delicious varieties. Tea bags were also provided in the room!
Next time I visit Tangshan, I'll definitely choose to stay at Orange again!"

The hotel is strategically located, with many restaurants and convenience stores around, and there is no need to go far for food and shopping. The room cleaning is very meticulous, the ground, desktop, bathroom are clean, no smell, and also equipped with a magnified makeup mirror, the first choice for makeup, the whole house is smart, a sentence of hi ～ Jinjiang, solve all problems lazy people must choose! The bedding was soft and dry, the mattress was super comfortable, and I slept very well all night. The room is well lit and ventilated, and the toiletries are fully equipped. FFuzaotiantianI stayed at this hotel during my trip to Hetou Old Street, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. Let me share my thoughts.
Upon arrival, I noticed a Peking duck restaurant next door and the hotel's own parking lot, framed by two beautiful magnolia trees. The owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming, providing excellent service. Check-in was super fast, which was a huge relief after a long journey. What's more, she proactively offered me a choice of room orientation during check-in, which was a really thoughtful touch.
Stepping into the room, my first impression was how clean and tidy it was. The layout was very well-designed, making optimal use of the space, so it felt both spacious and comfortable. The mattress had just the right firmness, and the bedding was soft and pleasant to the touch. All the in-room amenities were comprehensive; the TV and other equipment were not only all there but also worked perfectly. The bathroom design was very practical, with excellent separation between wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were of good quality and pleasant to use.
Moreover, the hotel's location is superb, being very close to the South Gate of Hetou Old Street, within walking distance. Getting to Tangshan Station was also very convenient.
My stay at this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The next time I visit Hetou Old Street, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserThe hotel was comfortable, clean and well-furnished. The staff were memorable; the cleaning ladies were very polite and helpful, and the girls on the front desk were so sweet. Despite our language difficulties they helped me so much to arrange a visit to the Eastern Qing Tombs, and to get a transfer later on to Beijing. The evening I arrived I asked if there was a shopping centre in the vicinity and one of the girls said she was about to finish her shift and took me there in her car! They were all so friendly and helpful.
The only negative point I would mention is that the door to my room was not very secure: on leaving the room I found I could easily force it open without using the key! This needs to be looked at urgently. Overall though I was very happy with my all too short stay, and I will remember the lovely reception staff for a long time.

There was a slight smoke smell when I first entered the room, but after informing the staff, they quickly sent someone to freshen the space with deodorant. Although the smell wasn’t completely gone, I appreciated their prompt response and willingness to help.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delivery robot that brought my food delivery orders right to my room — a fun and convenient touch that really stood out.
With a bit more attention to room freshness, this hotel has the potential to be even better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.

GGuest UserThe hotel is great; although it's been operating for many years, it doesn't look old at all. The facilities are very complete, making it an excellent holiday hotel.
We booked a lake-view room this time, offering views of the Ferris wheel, and the deer park downstairs where kids can play 'fishing for ducks'. It's very close to Hetou Old Street, about a 3-minute electric cart ride away, or even walkable.
What I want to praise the most is the hot spring water park. The kids went wild on the water slides, while the elderly could relax in the nearby hot spring pools and then enjoy a steam bath – very comfortable!
The overall service at the hotel is very good, and the staff are enthusiastic. However, the booking process is not very flexible; once booked, it cannot be canceled or modified. I wanted to upgrade the first night to a package including tickets to Old Street and the Dongzheng performance, but was told it wasn't possible. Even if upgraded, they wouldn't provide an extra child's ticket or allow me to purchase one. My initial attempt to coordinate with Ctrip was unsuccessful. Eventually, as I couldn't secure tickets for the May Day Dongzheng performance, I asked Ctrip customer service for help again. Thanks to my 'Black Diamond' status, Ctrip said they treated me as a VIP to get it sorted (I still love Ctrip in my heart). In the end, it wasn't an upgrade to the package; it was more like buying two tickets for 300 yuan, including two Dongzheng performance tickets, as the child ticket in the package wasn't utilized. Later, I stayed at Yanji Caotang, which directly gave us three extra Dongzheng performance tickets, making me prefer Caotang in comparison.
If the hotel's booking department could have handled this situation flexibly earlier, this hotel would have been perfect for me. As it stands, my impression is that hotels in Hebei are generally inflexible; I've encountered similar situations in Xiong'an, Langfang, and Tangshan.

They even gave us a small gift when we left, which our child absolutely loved. The room was very comfortable and clean, and parking was super convenient. Breakfast offered a great variety, including freshly made wontons and noodles, as well as homemade soy milk and fried dough sticks that tasted very authentic. All in all, I highly recommend it!

This time I stayed at Tangshan Jianguo Puyin Hotel with my wife. The overall experience was impressive. It was a quiet ”urban seclusion” trip to find a moment of tranquility during the hustle and bustle of the journey.
The sanitation and environment of the hotel are a highlight. Stepping into the hotel, the new Chinese design style creates a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The room is clean and tidy, no smell, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a good quality of sleep. The bathroom is designed with dry and wet separation, and the smart toilet is equipped to improve the comfort of use. Especially commendable is its sound insulation effect, even in the city center, you can enjoy a rare peace after closing the window.
In terms of service, the hotel's performance is equally excellent. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and fast, and the staff was warm and smiling. The hotel offers free parking.
In terms of facilities, the hotel cleverly integrates traditional elements with modern technology. The rooms are equipped with intelligent control systems throughout the house, which can easily control lights, curtains and TVs through voice, adding a sense of technology and fun to live in. HHuoxiaoyuWe checked out Hetou Old Street in Tangshan and booked a hotel nearby, about a 15-minute walk from the North Gate, which we found very convenient. There were many restaurants downstairs with good reviews, and a large market across the street, so there were many cars in the morning. We were two adults and two children, and booked a standard room. We specifically went to check out the room, and it was quite nice, with a separate shower and toilet. The room was also very warm. There was a train nearby, so it was noisy, but it didn't bother us. They gave the kids some snacks upon check-in. The bathroom had slippers and disposable toilet seat covers. The room had toothbrushes, combs, two bottles of mineral water, and a kettle, and there were no unpleasant smells.
They gave us two complimentary hot spring tickets, which we didn't use. Breakfast was good; besides some main dishes, there was freshly made Korean noodles. The plates and tables were quite clean. We also forgot some clothes when checking out, and the front desk called us promptly. Overall, it was great value for money, and we'll definitely book again next time we visit Hetou Old Street.
