"This hotel is located in the Aegean Sea Shopping Park in Tangshan's city center and shares an underground parking lot with the mall, so there's plenty of parking available. There's a dedicated elevator for the hotel in the underground parking, which means no waiting in crowded lines.
The shopping center itself has numerous restaurants, making lunch and dinner incredibly convenient.
The hotel rooms are quite clean, and the mattress comfort is also good.
While the breakfast on the 7th floor can't compare to what you'd find in a luxury hotel, it's definitely among the best in its price range. They offer common Chinese and Western breakfast items like fried eggs, bread and toast, sausages, wontons, and tofu pudding, and everything tastes good.
If you're traveling for leisure or business in the area, this hotel is definitely worth considering."

"I specifically booked this hotel for its proximity to the Old Street. Overall, it was great. Check-in was quick, and they even prepared balloons for the kids. However, since it was peak check-in time, the rooms took a while to get ready. I booked two rooms, and one was ready at 3:40 PM and the other at 4:30 PM, which was quite a negative experience. We did switch one of the family rooms because the front desk informed us beforehand about a wedding party checking in the next morning, which I appreciate. But one of our rooms on the same floor was still woken up around 6 AM by the noise. I'll definitely avoid staying on the same floor as a wedding party in the future.
The hotel breakfast was excellent, with a nice environment and a wide variety of options. The shuttle bus to and from the Old Street runs every 30 minutes. The hotel also has an indoor play area (Naughty Castle) and a kids' water park. The Naughty Castle here is the cleanest and tidiest I've ever seen; I constantly saw hotel staff cleaning it. The water park is combined with the hot springs, and the kids had an absolute blast.
The only reason I'm giving a lower rating is for the room cleaning. It seemed superficial; behind the trash can, there was a snack bowl left from another child. I hope they'll be more thorough with their cleaning in the future."

"I was in Tangshan for a business trip and decided to bring my parents to Hetou Old Street to celebrate my mom's birthday. The last time I stayed here, Iris Yao Jiajing was my DM, and she made my stay so wonderful that I chose InterContinental again for my parents' visit. This time, we encountered a few minor issues with the room facilities, which is understandable given the hotel's age. However, every single problem was promptly and effectively resolved by Manager Yao Jiajing. She also proactively checked the room availability and upgraded my parents' room for free, which was a lovely surprise. When she learned it was my mother's birthday, she thoughtfully arranged a tea break with a cake for us. Throughout our stay, she also checked in to see if we needed anything else. I am incredibly grateful for Manager Yao's professionalism and attentiveness; she has truly left me with a positive impression of this hotel, and her service made our family trip exceptionally smooth."

"Arrived on the afternoon of Chinese New Year's Day. Both counters were busy during check-in, but Cathy proactively directed us to the third one. Since we were two adults with two young children, it was a bit of a struggle. Cathy thoughtfully gave the kids small horses to comfort them, which was very sweet. For the rest of our stay, everything perfectly matched our booking requests: a bed rail was installed, and child-friendly toiletries and a toilet seat were provided.
The housekeeping staff never slacked off, even though the kids made quite a mess. Our room was always spotless when we returned.
We'll definitely be back!"

"I chose this four-star hotel, which was highly recommended by Trip.com, specifically because of its proximity to Tangshan Feast. Being integrated with Tangshan Feast, it was incredibly convenient to access local specialties and snacks – just a short walk through the lobby. The hotel service was exceptional; the lobby waiting area even offered complimentary fruit and tea for guests. The room itself was beautifully decorated and cozy, and they thoughtfully provided afternoon tea, fruit, and a souvenir bag with 'Tang Xiaozhu' branding. A major plus is its location, just a five-minute walk from Nanhu Park. Oh, and inside Tangshan Feast, there's a huge, meter-long green carp that's practically a mascot!"

"The stay experience was very satisfactory, far exceeding expectations!
The check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and the staff smiled kindly. The room is more spacious than expected, the floor-to-ceiling windows have an excellent view, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the night is good. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, cleaned spotlessly, and the details are of quality.
Special praise is the hotel's service - a few bottles of water are needed in the early morning, and the rooms are delivered very quickly; although the breakfast variety is not very much, but the Chinese and Western snacks and freshly cooked noodles are very careful. The location is also very convenient
Overall, both hardware facilities and soft services are commendable and cost-effective. Next time I come to this city for a business trip or trip, I will definitely choose here again and recommend it to friends!"

GGuest UserThe hotel was comfortable, clean and well-furnished. The staff were memorable; the cleaning ladies were very polite and helpful, and the girls on the front desk were so sweet. Despite our language difficulties they helped me so much to arrange a visit to the Eastern Qing Tombs, and to get a transfer later on to Beijing. The evening I arrived I asked if there was a shopping centre in the vicinity and one of the girls said she was about to finish her shift and took me there in her car! They were all so friendly and helpful.
The only negative point I would mention is that the door to my room was not very secure: on leaving the room I found I could easily force it open without using the key! This needs to be looked at urgently. Overall though I was very happy with my all too short stay, and I will remember the lovely reception staff for a long time.

There was a slight smoke smell when I first entered the room, but after informing the staff, they quickly sent someone to freshen the space with deodorant. Although the smell wasn’t completely gone, I appreciated their prompt response and willingness to help.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delivery robot that brought my food delivery orders right to my room — a fun and convenient touch that really stood out.
With a bit more attention to room freshness, this hotel has the potential to be even better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.

FFuzaotiantianI stayed at this hotel during my trip to Hetou Old Street, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. Let me share my thoughts.
Upon arrival, I noticed a Peking duck restaurant next door and the hotel's own parking lot, framed by two beautiful magnolia trees. The owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming, providing excellent service. Check-in was super fast, which was a huge relief after a long journey. What's more, she proactively offered me a choice of room orientation during check-in, which was a really thoughtful touch.
Stepping into the room, my first impression was how clean and tidy it was. The layout was very well-designed, making optimal use of the space, so it felt both spacious and comfortable. The mattress had just the right firmness, and the bedding was soft and pleasant to the touch. All the in-room amenities were comprehensive; the TV and other equipment were not only all there but also worked perfectly. The bathroom design was very practical, with excellent separation between wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were of good quality and pleasant to use.
Moreover, the hotel's location is superb, being very close to the South Gate of Hetou Old Street, within walking distance. Getting to Tangshan Station was also very convenient.
My stay at this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The next time I visit Hetou Old Street, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied – definitely five-star quality for a four-star hotel. There were plenty of parking spaces, but the only downside was the lack of EV charging stations.

__WeChat47304****The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful and warm. Since we had a child with us, they arranged a 2.4-meter extra-large bed. They even gave us a small gift when we left, which our child absolutely loved. The room was very comfortable and clean, and parking was super convenient. Breakfast offered a great variety, including freshly made wontons and noodles, as well as homemade soy milk and fried dough sticks that tasted very authentic. All in all, I highly recommend it!

The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the train station and a return trip to Hetou Old Street (departs at 5 PM, returns at 9:30 PM, Hetou Old Street is 15 km away). Guests receive a fruit platter and local specialty 'Qizi Shaobing' (a type of baked flatbread). The picture shows Hetou Old Street.

GGuest UserThe hotel's overall cleanliness was good, with corners and details wiped very clean and no dust. The staff also had a great attitude. However, the overall amenities and flow design didn't match the price point at all. Paying 800-900 yuan during a holiday, the experience fell far short of expectations. It pales in comparison to similarly priced hotels like Atour and is a long way from five-star standards.
To get from the underground parking to the hotel elevator, you have to go up stairs, and there's no assistance for guests, which is very inconvenient for families or those with large luggage. The pool seems to be outsourced; while the water quality is clean, it's located in the basement, so the water temperature tends to be a bit cold. The drainage in the shower area is poor, and there was a lot of guest-left rubbish that wasn't cleaned up promptly. What's even more surprising is that this was the first time I've encountered hotel staff standing by and making guests inflate their own swim rings.
Furthermore, the hotel's air freshener scent was strong and cheap, and the quality of toiletries like hand soap, shampoo, and body wash was very mediocre. The overall feel was rather low-end, leading to a poor experience.

Conveniently, the hotel's back exit leads directly to Nanhu Park, which boasts scenery comparable to Hangzhou's West Lake. The swimming pool water temperature is just right, and the hygiene is excellent. A special shout-out to the hotel's service! I accidentally left my watch in my bathrobe, and the hotel actively helped me locate it and even mailed it back to me. This left a truly profound impression of Tangshan. I will definitely stay here again!
