"The room offers an amazing view, with its window directly facing Mount Siguniang, making it incredibly convenient to admire the snow-capped peaks! The room itself has a unique cave-like, luxurious feel. The amenities are very convenient, including a humidifier and an oxygen concentrator, which made for a very comfortable night's sleep. The service was impeccable; the staff were all very enthusiastic and basically accommodated every request. Highly recommended!"

"I originally booked a queen room, but the owner upgraded us to a twin room so we could see the street view, which was really nice of them! As someone with social anxiety, it was a huge relief. The owner felt like a friendly and genuine local. There's no elevator, but the owner helped us with our luggage, they were truly amazing. Even though it's a guesthouse, it felt more like a hotel in terms of standards; it was very clean and much better than I expected. Most importantly, the room was toasty warm, it had that sunny scent, and felt very safe. There's a restaurant downstairs, and breakfast is free. I especially recommend their yak meat hotpot, it's incredibly fresh and the soup is genuinely delicious. My friend and I couldn't even finish it all, the portions are very generous. Eating that in winter was so warming, it was a truly great experience. I was really touched by how kind the owner was 😭"

But finally we try 1 beer, so delicious! For the location, located around changpinggou but we will goto shuangqioa valley but the hotel help to call the taxi for us on the morning. For the room, fully facilities. Comfort bed, heating floor start on 4.00PM,. For the food, the Yak meat so delicious and enough for 2 person, Tibet fried rice is amazing we like it! the Yak noodles on the morning is good also. Overall impressed."

The stay was very comfortable, and the service was warm and welcoming. Food prices are a bit on the high side; for instance, the minced meat noodles in picture three were 28 yuan, and a small portion of braised yak meat was 98 yuan. Since dining options within the scenic area are very limited, the hotel restaurant is essentially the main choice."

"This place completely exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly clean and beautifully designed, with a very cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. The bed was extremely comfortable we slept so well every night. The view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery every morning was truly unforgettable and made the stay even more special. The service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They took excellent care of us and were always happy to help. They kindly recommended many delicious local restaurants and shared great tips on beautiful places to visit around Rilong, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also very convenient,staff always bring us to wherever we want to go . Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Rilong Town. Highly recommended we would definitely stay here again!"

"Local hotel located near the entrance of Changpinggou and Haizigou. You can inform them in advance to take you to Shuangqiaogou (additional charges, 10-15 mins from hotel). They cannot communicate in English so you need translating apps, but it's still doable because they are quite helpful. Most of the menus are tasty but oily. We are not into oily dishes but we still recommend stir-fried Yak's meat and hot pot. And the least oily dish is egg fried rice."

"I hitched a ride into Xiaojin and happened to meet the hotel owner. We chatted all the way, and he even helped me plan my trip to Siguniang Mountain. He was very friendly and enthusiastic, and he even upgraded my room for free! The view from the room was truly beautiful, and I could even sit by the window to sunbathe – it was fantastic. After getting out of the car, my legs were weak and my oxygen levels were quite low. The owner told the front desk staff to take good care of me, and even personally messaged me in the evening to ask if I was feeling better. The service was truly excellent 👍"

"I visited Mount Siguniang by myself during the winter solstice. The hotel facilities are very new. I was experiencing some altitude sickness and originally planned to head back to Chengdu if my body couldn't handle it. However, after staying one night at Vienna Hotel, I slept incredibly well. Being able to rest and use the oxygen provided at the hotel gave me the energy to complete my hiking plans in Changping Valley. Having oxygen is truly crucial in high-altitude areas (extremely important!). The hotel also upgraded me to a snow-view room for free (though there was only snow on the mountain peaks that day). The front desk staff were also excellent and accommodating. If I ever return to Mount Siguniang, I'll definitely stay at Vienna Hotel again."

"Choosing this guesthouse for our trip was definitely the right call. The town was wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. I was particularly impressed with the bathroom facilities, which were on par with those of luxury hotels. A special shout-out goes to the guesthouse restaurant. Despite its high-up location, which meant we had to take a few breaks walking up for meals, the owner's cooking was simply divine! It was hands down the most delicious meal we had on this entire trip, and we would absolutely choose to stay here again."

It is the only four-star environmentally friendly resort hotel of Siguniang mountain area combining accommodation, catering, entertainment, business, conference reception and other services as a whole. It is approved by the Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau as designated foreign tourist hotel.The hotel is 100 meters away from the Shuangqiaogou. Visitors driving by themselves can park their cars at the hotel and go to Shuangqiaogou. It covers an area of 70 mu and its building area is 11,000 square meters. It has 93 deluxe and suite rooms, 159 beds, four meeting rooms and a Chinese restaurant which can hold 160 people for dining.

"This hotel is literally steps away from the Shuangqiao Valley entrance, less than 50 meters, and easily the best hotel in the immediate vicinity. They have a massive parking lot, which is free for guests. It was completely packed the next morning with self-driving tourists heading to the valley, which really highlights its convenience. In contrast, parking at nearby B&Bs is usually right by their entrance, often crowded and feeling less secure. The lady at the front desk provided truly excellent service. She was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all our questions and making us feel right at home. Thumbs up! Our room was adequately sized. Although our standard room booking indicated 1.1-meter wide beds, they felt wider, closer to 1.2 meters, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast offered a decent selection, certainly enough to fill you up, though a greater variety would make it even better. After a day exploring Shuangqiao Valley, it was pleasant to unwind in the lobby for a while before heading up to the room. The room is advertised as having diffused oxygen supply, which I'm not familiar with, and honestly, I didn't notice any particular difference. The main drawback is the price; it's quite steep, more than double that of surrounding guesthouses. I felt the value for money wasn't quite there. The hotel could definitely do better in this regard."

Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin, because everything was simply amazing. The location is very convenient, close to Shuangqiao Valley. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. The heating system works quickly and efficiently, keeping the room very warm, which is extremely important in this area. Oxygen is also provided whenever we had health issues due to the altitude — there was truly nothing missing. During our entire trip from Chengdu until arriving here, this was the first time we met a host who spoke excellent English. She was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. Her husband even drove us around after our original booking was already completed. For the next day, I had booked another hotel. Although the room rate was higher, their conditions were unreasonable, and they even refused to provide transportation. Because we are not familiar with the local language, the owner of ShanShangShan Hotel and her husband went out of their way to help us and communicate on our behalf. In the end, ShanShangShan was the one who took care of us and gave us a ride. Now, as I am lying in another hotel writing this review, I truly regret not staying longer at ShanShangShan. The food here was also delicious, and the chef was extremely friendly and lovely. We felt incredibly comfortable, happy, and relaxed during our stay. Every corner of the room was carefully prepared, thoughtful, and very convenient. This hotel is not just a place to stay — it genuinely feels like being taken care of.

GGuest UserOne of the most incredible hotel we have stayed in! Breathtaking and excellent views of Siguniang mountains and a stream from the moment you stepped into the lobby. The rooms are exactly as advertised, with zero obstruction of the snowcapped mountains - spectacular views from the room windows! We were worried that the pictures from the booking page would differ but it was exactly the same. The hospitality at the hotel was top notch, extremely bespoke to one's comfort and at the same time very homely and warm. We even got a free upgrade to the best rooms in the property and they even took the effort to celebrate one of our birthday which happened to coincide with our stay. The two hotel owners (张哥和冷哥), as well as the staff treated us like family, with lovely meals at the hotel (their breakfast noodles were yummy!), recommendations on how best to tour Siguniang mountain valleys and even bringing us to the local convenience stores in the nearby town. Do not hesitate to reach out to the owners to arrange for a horse to be brought to the property for a photoshoot - the pictures on a horse with the mountains in the backdrop are stunning! All in all, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone who wants a relaxing get away with jaw dropping views of Siguniang mountains and the best hospitality that Sichuan can offer!
