"Of all the camps in the area to choose from I highly recommend staying at this particular one. The manager Wang Shiquan and his team are incredibly good hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. As a foreigner I felt incredibly welcomed and included. The tents are of really good quality and very roomy. The beds are really comfy too. The activities are also plentiful with quad biking, camel riding and sandboarding. Shapotou is very close by too with much to do. Ningxia is definitely an underrated province and I highly recommend anyone to come and see it and experience the kind hospitality of it's people from this camp. Thank you for a great stay."

"The butler will contact guests a day in advance. The hotel is located inside the Tonghu Scenic Area, and the room rate includes admission tickets. This is the only hotel in the scenic area, so there are no outsiders. The hotel's front desk is at the main entrance of the Tonghu Grassland Scenic Area, with free parking. There's a 4x4 shuttle service within the area. The Starlight Restaurant is right next to the tent area, making dining convenient. It usually includes a buffet breakfast and a buffet hot pot dinner with good quality ingredients and a wide selection. There's a shuttle service to the bonfire party, which features a high-quality equestrian show, not just simple amateur entertainment. The rooms are tents. Our room type only had a password lock on the tent zipper, but since there are no outsiders in the park, it felt safe. Soundproofing isn't great because it's a warm tent. Each room type has a private bathroom and toilet, also in an attached tent form. Amenities are complete, including Crocs-style slippers and body lotion. The stand-up air conditioner heats and cools quickly, and there's also an oil-filled radiator for heating. It's hot during the day and cold at night, so you need to use both heating and cooling throughout the day. It's dry, so you can hang a wet towel. There are sand toys and sand sleds everywhere outside the room, and sand dunes right outside your tent, so you can play freely. Everything you could need is provided. If you stay for multiple nights, you'll need to drive quite a distance to visit other places during the day. Actually, one night and the next morning are sufficient. There are plenty of daytime activities, making it suitable for families with children. However, adults can use the daytime for excursions."

"This desert hotel is really worth it! Before bringing the children, I was worried about the difficult conditions, and the result was completely beyond expectations. The child went crazy as soon as he entered the desert. The sandboard was borrowed by the hotel for free. The big sand dunes in the hotel were not tired after sliding down more than a dozen times. Attending a bonfire party to watch fireworks in the evening was very lively. The sand view room, smart home, 180-degree glass windows, open the curtain to the sand view. The bedding is clean, the air conditioning is strong, and the night is very quiet. The hotel restaurant is good for cooking and barbecue. I really recommend it to families who want to bring their baby to experience the desert. Children can remember this trip for a long time!"

"This time I stayed at the desert tent hotel, and its facilities were far beyond my expectations! There is a viewing terrace outside the tent, equipped with comfortable lounge chairs, allowing me to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the desert sunrise and sunset. The interior of the tent is no slouch either, and it stays nice and cool even on a scorching desert day. The independent bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, with a stable supply of hot water and high-quality toiletries. There are also a lot of entertainment facilities, including desert motorcycles, sandboards, etc., which satisfy my pursuit of exciting experiences. What’s even more thoughtful is that the tent is also equipped with an emergency medicine kit and charging equipment, showing care in every detail. Such high-quality facilities gave me an unforgettable desert trip!"

"I knew it was off-season, but I didn't expect it to be this quiet. In the middle of nowhere, in this vast desert, it was just us and guests from one other room. There were even more staff than guests! We had to park our car in the lot and rely on the hotel's shuttle. The room was great, very clean, with AC and a private bathroom, and they didn't restrict water usage. We couldn't see any stars at night due to the weather, but the hotel put on a firework display and even gave us sparklers. Overall, it's pretty good value for money. I might come back in the off-season to enjoy the solitude again. 😂"

"I highly recommend One Leaf Starry Sky Tent Hotel! The receptionist, Yu Na, provided exceptionally warm and attentive service. She greeted us warmly upon arrival, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. She patiently and meticulously answered all our questions about room types, nearby attractions, and restaurants, and thoughtfully reminded us of the significant temperature difference between day and night in the desert and important travel tips. She proactively helped with our luggage, and her friendly and helpful attitude made our entire experience very pleasant. The tent accommodation was fantastic, and combined with the staff's attentive service, the whole trip was incredibly enjoyable. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time and would recommend it to friends and family. Especially grateful that she proactively drove us to buy fever-reducing medicine the night we checked in when my child developed a fever."

"The experience was superb, the sister recommended it, the Kk boss was good, and he also helped to park, take things, and check in quickly. Lie on the bed and watch the Milky Way, the view is amazing. The private bathroom is clean and there is plenty of hot water for 24 hours. The service is intimate, the bonfire party and the fireworks are super atmosphere, the desert water guide leads the adventure, there is no idleness all day, the desert sunset is beautiful, the photo is taken, the charge is clearly marked, do not step on the pit, it is recommended"

"As someone who pays attention to every detail, I couldn't find a single fault with this B&B in Zhongwei! The desert environment is quiet and beautiful, the air is fresh, and the views are spectacular. It's incredibly therapeutic to be away from the hustle and bustle. The room layout is well-planned and functional, with a smooth flow and thoughtful storage, making it very convenient to stay in. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, with plenty of stable hot water that comes out quickly and maintains a consistent temperature. The bathroom was spotless. The bedding was brand new, clean, crisp, soft, and gentle on the skin. Both the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable, ensuring a deep and restful sleep. The food was home-style, freshly prepared, delicious, and flavorful – not too strong or greasy, healthy and satisfying. The service was exceptional, with the owner personally attending to us throughout our stay. They were warm, polite, and responsive, proactively anticipating our needs while being attentive without being intrusive. The cleanliness, environment, facilities, dining, and service were all top-notch. A perfect accommodation experience in Zhongwei!"
