Zhongwei Hotels with Pools

I want to highly recommend this homestay to everyone! Mrs. is so good! Whether it is from the homestay environment to the comfort of the room or the service of the boss wife, it is super invincible! We came to Zhongwei for three nights, because it was off-season, and we had a family of guests on the first day, but the boss came back from Shapotou Scenic Area after get off work and took us to visit the introduction of the homestay. The proprietress also drove to the high-speed rail station to pick us up. The service is really not too good ＼ (^▽ ^) ／! The boss is still a non-genetic inheritor of sheepskin dumplings. He is very enthusiastic to introduce us to the history of sheepskin dumplings and Zhongwei, so that we have the opportunity to understand Zhongwei more deeply. Understand the origin of sheepskin dumplings. Even if there were three of us that night, we would raise a bonfire to roast sweet potatoes for us, but we refused. The next day, there were more guests and it was more lively hahahaha. On the day of going to Highway 66 and the Yellow River Suji, I was also looking for the proprietress to drive and pick up. Although I was a little lucky and I didn't see it, I really gave a big praise for the service of the proprietress. We took the trouble to look at Maoxuan. The third time we went to the dirt road below the river, we also helped us to ask the locals about the opening time. Hard work! ! But why not leave a regret? Why come back next time. The food cooked at the homestay is also delicious, the breakfast is very very rich, and it is estimated that you can pick fruit in the yard in summer. When I left, the boss also came to say goodbye to us before going to work. The car arrived at the boss also called us to send us out, let us have a feeling of home in the central defender!

The location is superior, with Baolan Railway, Dingwu Expressway and Yinlan Expressway surrounding the surrounding area, and convenient transportation. The environment is beautiful, and the Yellow River passes around the village, forming a Jizi Bay. The river water is clear. The Ming Great Wall can be reached in a five-minute walk. From it, you can overlook the entire village and the Shapotou Scenic Area across the Yellow River. The towers and sand sliding center that fly over the Yellow River are clearly visible. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the facilities such as bathtubs, toilets and hair dryers are all good. The service is excellent. I arrived at more than ten o'clock in the evening, and the front desk guy was still waiting for me in the parking lot. He drove me around the village the next day. The front desk was warm and considerate, and responded to every request. I felt first-class service in the northwest. The coffee at Kongshan Jiutie is delicious!

The hotel's exterior aesthetic is definitely on point, and the small decor outside each room is perfect for photos. You can easily spend half a day exploring the surrounding farms and the Ming Great Wall. The entire Yellow River Homestay complex also offers a good variety of businesses. However, the interior of the room was quite disappointing. While they claim the dim lighting is for stargazing, I personally don't believe a vanity light would significantly impact the night sky. The dim lighting coupled with the square room shape, to put it nicely, made it feel a bit like a creepy escape room. You couldn't even see your face clearly in the mirror, and I imagine children would be quite scared. The cleanliness was also subpar. The air conditioner panel was covered in a layer of grime, making the numbers illegible. There were two giant millipedes in the bathtub, which no one seemed to care about. They said they crawled up from the drain, but isn't blocking drains standard procedure for hotels now? One of the bedside lamps was broken, the desk lamp switch had fallen onto the floor, and the TV power cord wasn't plugged in. It felt like they expected guests to discover all these issues themselves. They also forgot to send the evening dessert. The explanation was that we checked in too late, past the designated time. However, during check-in, we clearly heard them asking other guests if they wanted evening milk. (Though, I'm lactose intolerant and don't drink milk anyway, and they did compensate by sending coffee promptly the next day). Furthermore, when guests raised issues, the hotel staff always tried to defend themselves first instead of readily admitting to problems. Their customer complaint handling definitely needs improvement.

We decided to visit Shapotou at the last minute to avoid peak season, so we were completely clueless and had no itinerary. We could only find accommodation based on recommendations. This guesthouse turned out to be a series of pleasant surprises. The owner was incredibly kind, explaining how to buy tickets (which were super affordable and we had a blast!), and even offered to deliver them. After our visit to Shapotou, we called the owner, who picked us up directly. The whole experience was fantastic; the kids were constantly amazed. Applause is in order for the guesthouse owner! The facilities inside were very clean and comfortable, with no unpleasant smells. The courtyard was spotless, and there was even a sandpit where the kids had a great time. The food was also incredibly delicious. We ordered all the local specialties of Zhongwei, which the kids absolutely loved. Every meal was completely devoured, proving just how good it was. We arrived by train, not by car, and the experience was still amazing. Driving would have been even more comfortable, so feel free to come!

The hotel is amazing, you have to take the hotel car from the Tengger Desert Tourist Area. The first time I entered the desert, it was as perfect as I imagined. It was not hot or dry (it just rained yesterday, and the underwear washed at night was not dry until the morning), and the room was very clean. The breakfast and dinner delivered were also delicious. The freshly burned noodles and freshly baked lamb chops are good. I took pictures of my life, and my 13-year-old son had a great time looking for the highest dunes to skateboard. Sitting at the door of the room and looking for the rare calm in his heart.

Suji is really great. I am very grateful to the housekeeper for helping me coordinate the room. Overall it was very quiet, and the room was large, but the layout was a bit strange, the bath water was very large, but there was no Dyson hair dryer, and the swimming pool was too cold to get in.

This stay was a perfect experience, totally beyond expectations! The B&B is not only clean and tidy, but also captured our hearts with its thoughtful pet-friendly design. The courtyard-style rooms with their own doors and windows are a boon for traveling with pets, as they not only provide space for the pets to move around, but also ensure privacy between residents. The most surprising thing is the starry sky barbecue area thoughtfully set up in the courtyard. When night falls, the whole family sits around the barbecue, watching the skewers sizzling on the charcoal fire, and looking up at the bright starry sky covered like a dome. It is even more wild and warm than the popular starry sky hotel. I would like to especially thank the owner of the B&B for his meticulous care. After learning that we were bringing our pets, he took the initiative to upgrade the original guest room to an independent courtyard. This considerate service attitude was very heartwarming. This accommodation experience, which perfectly combines natural wildness with humanized services, is worth recommending to all travelers traveling with pets!

I managed to snag a classic twin room last minute, and it turned out to be perfectly spacious for one adult and one child. The room was large, and the cleanliness was impressive. The butler service was very responsive, and the laundry service was a standout – my clothes were washed and dried within three hours, returned warm and fragrant. The only downsides were that both breakfast and dinner at the buffet restaurant were mediocre, and the hotel prices in general were quite high. We tried the hotel's surfing car, off-road vehicle, and self-drive desert go-karts. We rode the surfing car three times, and one round cost over a thousand yuan, which is even more expensive than Disneyland! However, I still highly recommend the hotel's surfing car; it actually offered decent value and was much more fun than the one at Shapotou. We also tried the hotel's spa, but I felt the price was a bit inflated – 1880 yuan wasn't significantly better than what you'd get for a few hundred yuan elsewhere. Also, the sand play area wasn't as good as at the Starry Sky Hotel; for kids who want to slide on the sand, I'd recommend the Starry Sky Hotel instead. Overall, though, I was very satisfied and would consider a second visit if I have the chance.

The hotel is in the hinterland of the desert, and there are surf cars to pick up and drop off. It is equivalent to a free surf car experience. The independent room is cool and the air conditioner is cool. I slept well all night.

The room environment feels comfortable, the hotel is in a good location, and the transportation is generally convenient. Duoduo at the front desk said that there is Hengdian Cinema nearby. We went to the snack street in the evening, which is not far from the hotel and can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room is comfortable and sanitary, the front desk and room attendants are happy to provide all kinds of help, the facilities are very smart, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is the first choice for next stay.
