The location near the main train station and the close proximity to the city center makes our Holiday Inn - the niu, Mood Mainz the ideal starting point for activities in the city. In the meantime you can leave your car (for a fee) in the hotel parking lot or in the underground garage.
The hub for everyone is our open lobby: cozy sitting area with newspapers, 24-hour reception and 24-hour bar, co-working space - it's all in one and we welcome you warmly. In the morning breakfast is served from the buffet of course, so that everyone can start the day the way he or she likes it best. In the evening we recommend relaxing in the hotel's sauna.
99 of our 279 rooms aree equipped with their own pantry with microwave, refrigerator and sink. Here you are independent - practical with small children or if you are staying longer in Mainz. "the niu Mood hotel is a solid choice when spending some nights in Mainz - the property, common areas and bedroom are very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful and a bus station connection to the central station or city center is a 3 minutes walk away (although the location is not close to any supermarkets or restaurants nearby) However, it is worth a stay!"

I was especially satisfied with the clean breakfast included in the stay

Out of the 4 beds, I wasn't sure if the sheets on the 2nd floor had been changed
So I took one off the cleanliness
I used a sticker every time to remove dust from the sheets
But that bed had a lot of dust, such as white hair
We were a family of 4, but we only used 3 beds
The location was good because there was a large supermarket and beer house nearby
It's a little far from the old town
But considering the price, I'm very satisfied"

"It is located close to Mainz Central Station, and there is a tram/bus stop right in front, so
it was good for going to the Meba Arena to watch a soccer game.
It is not too far to the city center, so it was good to walk.
Since it is an eco-friendly hotel, the room cleaning is not done every day.
I made a separate request to the hotel, and they said they would check and clean the room, so I made the request, and they did it well.
Apart from the room cleaning, they provide more towels when you need them.
I also stayed at the Intercity Hotel near Frankfurt Central Station, and the breakfast was better.
There is no electric kettle in the room, but they will lend it to you if you ask the reception.
I personally had two reservations, so I asked them to combine them, and they did it well.
The only regret was that the room key malfunctioned in the middle and I could not enter the room.
Overall, it was a good stay thanks to the friendly and kind staff."

"Very nice location - it is easy to reach the sights of Mainz and also to have a stroll along the river. During my stay there was some construction, that was not very pleasant. Also, make sure you are staying in the main building, or you will have to walk a long way with luggage... and help was not offered, although I had 2 suitcases. European hotel rooms tend to be small and drab - that was the case here too."

It is estimated that I booked the parent-child room and there is usually no one to book it. The location is not bad, parking is convenient, there is McDonald's at the door."

"For a stay for a woman alone just a conception - into the city either by lonely, foolish, long underground or a long walk not visible between bike parking house and camps, There is no human being at night and there is not much work overnight. Evening back from the city are no more groups on the way to join. You should be at least fourth on the way to feel good.

The service was excellent — the receptionist was always helpful and greeted us warmly each time. Our room came with a balcony, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!"

MMASTER-JIMThe hotel is located diagonally opposite Mainz Railway Station and it is very convenient to catch the train. Walk 100 meters to the authentic German restaurant zenz, very recommended.
The room is a city view, you can give children an extra bed. The room space is enough, the facilities are quite complete, and the law is quite satisfactory. The lobby bar and restaurant are well decorated; the breakfast price is not expensive for 19 euros per person, and the variety of dishes is very general in the same level of hotels in Europe and can be full.
The parking lot is in the basement of the next building, not far away. Other facilities have no experience and do not comment.
What is really amazing is the rotating stairs in the hotel, the work is very German! During the day, the wooden stairs are overlooked, and the lights are upturned and shadows are taken at night, which is great!
If you are in the front of the station before Christmas, there is a small night market every night, you can drink authentic German hot wine!

Unfortunately the whole house is bright, you hear people in the other rooms. Check in professional, may be more friendly. Internet works, but slowly.

GGuest UserThe hotel was aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, with good services including breakfast and complimentary snacks. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, and a member of staff was on hand at reception to check me in even though I arrived late in the evening. My room was huge and amazing value, and was set up for me beautifully. The location, while not central in Mainz, was reasonably well-connected to the city centre via public transport -- the bus stop was a ten-minute walk downhill from the hotel through very pretty neighbourhoods with regional charm.

JJIANDIANThe hotel is very quiet and safe in a residential area. The boss is very good at serving, the authentic German uncle. The room is big enough, which is rare in Europe. Warm heating is a warm and happy winter. It is about a kilometer from the city center and is within walking distance. Going to the pedestrian street, the shopping mall area is tired, eating enough to drink in the bar, then walking back, it is a wonderful memory!
