"I stayed at two Washington Hotels under the same group this time, and the Kansai Airport Washington Hotel offered great value for money. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Kansai Airport Premium Outlets, and there's also a Don Quijote store, electronics stores, and cosmetic shops nearby, making shopping very convenient. On the second floor, there's a FamilyMart convenience store and a restaurant, where guests can enjoy a 10% discount on meals, which is a thoughtful touch. The rooms are larger than those in city hotels. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to and from the airport. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand the shuttle schedule and waited for a long time without success, so I ended up taking the Nankai Line instead. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options and was excellent value for money. All things considered, I highly recommend this hotel."

"We came to stay as a stop before going to the airport, no transfers no nearby bus etc only the station which is 13-15 minute walk away. There’s a shopping outlet with food places again 15-20 mins away we got a taxi and it was 4000+ yen. 1000 from the train station if you have wheeled or little luggage this may be easier/cheaper
There’s a 7-11 nearby and a Lawsons and dominos to do you for a night. We never saw the restaurant onsite open. Self check in. Had a toothbrush and tooth paste towel in the room along with a kettle and cups. Had basic shampoo body wash etc but nothing else that it lists on the listing was good enough for one night only"

"One of the best hotels we have stayed at. The room was huge with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. We also got upgraded. Short walk to mall, outlet and train station. Taxi stand also right outside the hotel. Self service luagage storage provided before checking in, love it.
The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay especially one team member who went the extra mile to assist us in arranging a taxi to the airport early in the morning. We truly appreciated the effort especially since this isn't a service the hotel normally provides. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service and genuine hospitality."

"My friend recommended this hotel for several reasons:
1. It's just one stop from Kansai Airport (KIX) by Nankai Rapid Express, costing 730 yen per person.
2. The hotel is conveniently located only 50 meters from the subway exit.
3. It's very close to the outlet mall, Don Quijote, a large pharmacy, and the Ferris wheel.
4. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the airport (but no pick-up service).
5. The free hot spring bath at the hotel is amazing; soaking in it every night was incredibly relaxing.
6. We booked breakfast because there aren't many restaurants nearby, making dining out inconvenient. The breakfast suited our taste perfectly. The restaurant is on the scenic 21st floor, where we enjoyed watching planes take off from the reclaimed land of Kansai Airport and the Ferris wheel while eating.

"I chose this hotel for an overnight layover at Kansai Airport. The main advantage is its convenient location near the airport; it's about a 30-minute commute by foot and train to KIX. There's a shopping mall, supermarket, and Don Quijote nearby. I stayed in a twin room, and while it was small, it had everything you'd need, including a private bathroom. The downsides are that the soundproofing isn't great as it's street-facing, and while shampoo and body wash are provided, there's no conditioner."

"This hotel is incredibly convenient with an excellent location. It's just a few minutes' walk from Rinku Town Station on the Nankai Line, whether you take exit 1 or 3. The lobby for check-in is one floor down. There's a supermarket nearby, which is really handy, and it's also an easy walk to Rinku Premium Outlets, both located on either side of the station. Yesterday, I arrived at 3:30 PM, and they kindly upgraded my room to the 50th floor! The room was huge, and the view from the three windows was absolutely fantastic – perfect for watching Osaka's nightscape. This morning, I woke up at 5:30 AM for my flight and was treated to a stunning sunrise with fiery clouds outside the window. Simply amazing! The room was spacious and very clean. I'll definitely choose this hotel first next time."

"We flew into Kansai airport and this little hotel was a great spot to land. They have a pickup service from the airport that you pay for and from Hineno train station for free. We definitely could have taken the train but it was really nice to get picked up and the driver was great. The room itself was exactly as advertised. It was quiet and clean and the bath was large and relaxing after a long flight. The room is tatami style but the mattresses are cofmortable so as long as you're ok getting up and down it's comfortable and peaceful. There aren't many reataurants nearby and when I asked the staff for recommendations, I was directed to google maps... so I looked at google maps and discovered that if you're prepared to walk for 20 minutes through the neighbourhood there is the best okonomiaki we've ever had at a little local place called Petanko. We'd definitley stay again."

1. If you land at Terminal 1, first find the connecting corridor to Terminal 2, or locate the JR station entrance.
2. Facing the JR station entrance, you'll see the hotel sign on your left-hand side!
3. Follow the sign, and you'll spot a Lawson convenience store and an escalator. Take the escalator to the second floor!
4. Once on the second floor, you'll see a pizza restaurant and the hotel's directional sign. Just walk all the way to the end, and you're there!
(#) Stay Experience:
1. Cons: The soundproofing is practically non-existent, it's terrible!! People walking outside sound like an earthquake. It's hell for light sleepers. Remember to get an eye mask and earplugs from the front desk!
2. Friendly reminder: I didn't realize the room had air conditioning. The AC switch is right next to the light adjustment buttons. I slept incredibly cold all night and had to use my down jacket as a blanket.
3. Pay attention when the front desk assigns your room. It was my first time staying, and I didn't know, so they gave me one of the very first rooms, which meant a lot of people walked by. Avoid W302 and W303; they are especially noisy and right next to the entrance and luggage room.
4. Pros: Taking a hot shower was incredibly comfortable, and they provide shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, makeup remover, makeup remover wipes, facial cleanser, cotton swabs, comb, toothpaste, and toothbrush (no cups, and no disposable cups!).
5. The bed is very firm, which is great for people with back problems!
6. Towels and sleepwear are provided. The sleepwear is like the kind you'd wear in a large public bathhouse in China.
(!): Overall, for 400 a night, if it weren't for a very early transfer, I wouldn't recommend it. It's better to find a nearby hotel. Apart from being quick and convenient, other hotels offer better value for money.

ちちなみI've stayed at hotels above Rinku Town Station before, but they were quite old. This time, I chose REF in Izumisano, and the location is absolutely fantastic. Coming from Namba on the Nankai Electric Railway, you can spot a 7-Eleven right after exiting the ticket gate. Just turn left and follow the flat walkway with your luggage, and you'll see the sign for the hotel elevator (pic 3). The lobby and front desk are on the third floor. During check-in, they ask you to fill in your email to become a member and choose a free gift (either a drink or late check-out).
Basic toiletries are available at the front desk, and the room even has a multi-head charging cable, which is a thoughtful touch. The hairdryer is pretty good, with high power, so it dries hair quickly. The room was clean and quite new, and the twin room was fairly spacious with good-sized beds. However, a word of caution ⚠️: if you're a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the street during check-in. I was given a room near the electric railway, and it was a bit noisy in the morning (though my earplugs helped).
To go to Rinku Premium Outlets, it's just one stop (towards the airport) to Rinku Town. To get to Wakayama City, take the Nankai Electric Railway from downstairs, which takes about 40 minutes. Osaka Airport is only two stops away, less than a 10-minute ride. If you're heading to Terminal 2, remember to follow the signs at the airport to take the shuttle bus.

HHLW96Amazing. Genuinely couldn’t fault it. I arrived very late in the evening after a flight and the gentlemen on the check-in desk was so lovely and helpful and made me feel right at home. He also offered me all the freebies, from toothpastes and a toothbrush to facial cleansing oil and green tea bags… I got up to my room and it was absolutely spotless. The bathroom, the bedroom, the living space, all like new. They even had a smart tv in the room which was very unexpected and a nice treat after a long day, just like the bath. I would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone. A 4 minute walk from Izumisano Staion so perfect to get the Airport Express train directly from or to Kansai Airport.

The front desk staff were very welcoming; even with my limited English, checking in was a breeze. We stayed here for a layover, which gave us plenty of time to explore the outlets. We even found a nearby fishing tackle shop where we bought the fishing rod my child wanted. It was my first time trying this sashimi, and it was excellent! 👍

SSAHARA_HANThe front desk staff's service was truly exceptional. They kindly reminded us about the welcome drink during check-in, and when we departed, they even walked us out to the airport shuttle and waved goodbye. Overall, their service was excellent.
However, we stayed in a twin room with a bathroom in the older building. The cleanliness was a bit lacking, but we accepted it since we were only staying for a layover before a connecting flight. What was truly unbearable was that the air conditioner blew directly onto the head of the bed. I'm quite baffled by this design. To make matters worse, a notice on the AC control panel indicated that it couldn't be adjusted above 26 degrees Celsius or have its fan direction changed, as doing so would trigger the smoke detector. This meant we either suffered through the night with unbearable heat if we turned off the AC, or endured a headache from the direct draft if we left it on. I definitely won't be booking this room type again, and I wanted to share this for others' consideration.

Eelfin0125【Transportation】From Kansai Airport, it's just one stop to Rinku Town Station. Take Exit 5 and walk along the pedestrian overpass. You can take any staircase down from the overpass, then just continue straight. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk, so it's quite convenient. And the value for money is better than the nearby Washington Hotel.
【Tips】A quick heads-up: Ctrip indicated an on-site payment of only 100 JPY, but the hotel actually charges 100 JPY per night. Although Ctrip correctly calculated the room rate for two nights, this additional fee was misleading.

MM32452****The room was spacious, though the decor was a bit dated. However, it was very clean. There's a free shuttle to the airport, which is super convenient and only takes about 15 minutes. There's also a large supermarket nearby that stays open until 10 PM, great for browsing. Their prices are about 10% cheaper than 7-Eleven, and they even have discounted items in the evenings. Plus, it's just one stop away from the outlet mall, making getting around very easy.

JJoe SnuffyThe room we got was a double futon on the east room upstair, as we love the traditional Japanese style.
The small space has all the convenient with shared space in common area, small kitchen, bathroom and washer and dryer in the same room. Everything were tidy and functionally used all the space avail. Great water pressure and temp for the shower. The host thought of everything and provided every information avail for us tourist to use.
Distance is not too far from Rinku-town station. Only cons (out of everyone control) the stair leading to the station has no elevator, which will be challenging for people with large suitcase. We are light traveler, which is not too bad for our case.
Overall, great little space and affordable, short ride to Kansai Airport and save time traveling to the airport, which is a great plus since security check in at Kansai may take up to 90 mins to get through.

EEzgardtripI love the entire resort/hotel has to offer. It is very near Rinku Jr Station but in an isloated corner. The rooms have great ocean views. Breakfast was good quality but quite limited varieties. Free nice onsen but paid gym. Slightly later check out time compared to some other accommodations. If robotic dinosaurs at the reception could change to pokemon or something, would provide a better experience and attract more crowd.
