"Great hotel. Super friendly staff. Love the way they use the translator mic and very efficient. The room design is to the “point”. I will defintely recommend it for solo traveller or “medium-built” couple. Bath is ok, resting area is good, unfortunately did not go for breakfast/ dinner. If i m back to Kochin, will stay again."

"Comfort Hotel Kochi became our 12th hotel on this journey, and honestly, it was one of the most pleasant surprises so far. We checked in earlier today, and the location immediately scored big points — it is just a comfortable 5-minute walk from Kochi Station, making arrival very easy. The hotel itself feels brand new, and that freshness really shows. The lobby is slightly more spacious than other Comfort Hotels we have stayed at in Japan, which made a great first impression. Check-in was smooth even though it was done via a machine, and there was a friendly staff member nearby who stepped in to help and speed up the process when needed — a small touch, but very much appreciated. We were assigned a room on the highest floor, and to our surprise, this turned out to be the biggest standard double room we have ever stayed in across all Comfort Hotels in other cities. The room felt new, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out. The entrance area was spacious enough to fully open our large luggage without playing Tetris — always a win. The bed was comfortable, and while two pillows were already provided, I was able to get additional ones easily. There was a proper desk and chair, making it comfortable to sit down and work. The TV felt modern as well, with YouTube available, which was a nice bonus after a long day out. Even the bathroom was more spacious than expected, adding to the overall comfort. What made the stay even better was the free breakfast included for both nights of our stay, which always adds great value. On top of that, the streetcar station is also within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore Kochi without any hassle. Overall, Comfort Hotel Kochi exceeded our expectations — modern, comfortable, spacious, and well-located. It was a solid and satisfying stay that made us glad we chose it."

"The hotel is right next to the very lively Hongli Shopping Mall, where you can find places to eat like grilled sea bream. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM; not even a minute earlier. They offer free coffee at the front desk, and you can pick up makeup remover, facial cleanser, and lotion there yourself. If you have sensitive skin, it's best to bring your own. Bathrobes are also provided. The room was very new, but there was no bottled water inside. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM. However, when I went down at 6:40 AM, the queue already stretched all the way to the elevators, which was pretty crazy, so I just gave up on it."

"You can see it’s a bit old hotel but the twin room we got was not too small unlike typical business hotel. There are signs of care of the people running the hotel, since as the staff, cleanliness, and so on. Reasonable for the location."

"I stayed here last year as well. It was such a great experience that I wanted to stay here again this year, so I chose this hotel. The quality of the food seemed to have improved compared to last year. The bonito tataki was delicious. Also, the breakfast area was conveniently located, and they made efforts to avoid overcrowding, which was great. I'll definitely choose this hotel when I visit Kochi Prefecture again."

"I stayed for one night and was really impressed. All the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, even giving me tips on the local area. 😊 Thanks to them, I had a very comfortable stay. My only minor suggestion would be regarding the loungewear – there's only one free size. As a 178cm, 75kg guy, it felt a bit small. I imagine many international travelers stay here too, so perhaps offering two sizes would be a good idea. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kochi. Thank you! 😊"

"The hotel’s service is super good, the front desk, restaurant waiters, and concierges are very enthusiastic. Although everyone has some language communication barriers, it does not affect mutual communication:) The rooms are a bit small and old, but very clean."

"Low ceilings, pillows about as thick as an iPad, and a mattress that feels more like a traditional futon than a hotel bed. Staff are polite and efficient, the small onsen is lovely after a day out, and the location couldn’t be better. Skipped breakfast after seeing the 20-minute wait — I’d skip the meal plan next time. Comfortable enough for a short stay, just don’t expect cloud-like bedding."

"The hotel is located near the shopping street. It takes 8 minutes to walk to Hongren Market and 12 minutes to Hongren Market. The hotel equipment is old. I stayed in a Japanese-style room. The space is larger than that of ordinary Japanese-style hotels. The hotel also has its own parking lot. ¥ 700 per time. The hotel has a simple breakfast with bread, eggs, coffee and tea, which is good value for money."
